LOUVRE MUSEUM T20 (2hrs 30min)(50 EUR) This museum, besides being the best-known gallery in the world, brings together admirable archaeological and sculptural works. Due to the large size of this museum and its huge number of works of art we suggest you take a guided tour that will allow you to see some of the most important works of its interior. Our selective tour will take you from the medieval Louvre, Egyptian Sphinx, Greco-Roman sculptures, including the famous Venus del Milo, summer apartments of Anne of Austria and Cardinal Mazarin, until you reach the Victory of Samothrace. We will also visit the part of western painting, the primitive Italians: Cimabue and Ghiotto, following by the Grande Galerรญa where at this moment we can see "The Virgin of the Rocks" by Leonardo da Vinci. Next, we will admire "The Wedding of Cana" by Verones and the most famous painting of the "La Gioconda" museum. Another part of the museum that we will have the opportunity to see with our guide is the Gallery of French Painting, where we can see "The raft of the jellyfish" by Gericault, "Liberty guiding the people" by Delacroix, "The coronation of Napoleon " from David. Next, we will go to the Apollo Gallery where we will find goldsmith objects and some of "the Crown Jewels", the Gallery of the Guards, where we will find Etruscan and Roman jewels. LATIN QUARTER AND SENA CRUISE T20 (5hrs)(45 EUR) In this activity we will have the opportunity to visit two parts of Paris. On the one hand, we will visit the historic heart of the city walking through the charming streets of the Latin Quarter. In these streets we can discover important points such as the University of Sorbonne, the Cluny Thermal Baths and the Medieval Museum of Paris, the Church of Sant Severine, the Sant Julien-Le Pauvre Church and then the Island of the Citรฉ where we will visit in its part external one of the most important works of France, great work of gothic art, made by Sully in the S XII, Cathedral of Notre-Dame, stroll along its quays admiring buildings such as the conservagerie, medieval palace and former residence of the kings of France and the wonderful building of the Hotel de Ville. With our bus we will travel to the west of Paris to make the cruise by the river Seine, this tour will allow us to enjoy a different view of the main monuments that are on both shores crossing its numerous and admired bridges.       Welcome to Europamundo! Upon arriving at the airport, we will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel. Check the information boards in the hotel reception area for details of the welcome meeting with your guide and fellow travelers.

      TODAYโ€™S HIGHLIGHTS: City tour in Paris. Transfer to the Montmartre neighborhood.Today we take a guided tour to discover the history, main boulevards and the breathtaking monuments of Paris. Later in the day, we provide a transfer to the Montmartre disยญtrict. This neighborhood is known for its painters, artists, and its cabยญarets. Sit down for lunch and enjoy this magical place where you can choose from the various cuisines this area has to offer. We will then return to the hotel or take some leisure time to enjoy the city. Optionally you can attend a variety show.

      TODAYโ€™S HIGHLIGHTS: Monetโ€™s house. Rouen. Beaches where the Normandy landings took place. Early departure from Paris, travelling towards Normandy, making a stop in GIVERNY. We will visit Monetโ€™s House and its impressive gardens (entrance included); we learn about Impressionist art, which had its center in Normandy. The journey continues to ROUEN, the capital of Normandy with its medieval streets and cathedral. Here we have time for a stroll and to take lunch. We continue to ARROMANCHES, on its beaches we are reminded of the World War II landings in France. Last stop is CAEN, where we take some leisure time in the central district. Note: from November to March Monetยดs house is closed to visitors, therefore there will be no stop in Giverny.

      TODAYโ€™S HIGHLIGHTS: Mont S. Michel. French Bretagne. First thing in the morning we travel to Mont Saint Michel, time to see the Abbey located within the city on an island. After this, whilst travelling in the Bretagne region, we stop at SAINT MALO (whose powerful walls defend the city), where we will have time for lunch. In the afternoon we continue to DINAN, take some time to explore this Breton village full of charm. We continue our way to RENNES, the capital of Bretagne with its interesting and monumental historic center.

      TODAYโ€™S HIGHLIGHTS: Stage through the Loire Valley and its castles. Visit to Villandry Palace. Supper included.We leave for ANGERS. Those who wish to do so can visit the castle that has the largest medieval tapestry about the Apocalypse. Then we continue to the Loire Valley: TOURS, the capital of the region, on the banks of the Loire, time to explore and have lunch. In the afternoon we visit Villandry Palace, which is famous for its gardens and flowers; admission to gardens included. Accommodation and supper included in AMBOISE a city with a very interesting medieval quarter.

      TODAYโ€™S HIGHLIGHTS: Castles of Loire. A day to learn more about the Loire region. First a stroll through Amboise in the early hours to the Clos Lucรฉ mansion where Leonardo da Vinci spent the last 3 years of his life. Exploring the Loire region in a little more depth, we visit CHENONCEAU CASTLE (tickets included), built like a bridge over the River Cher. We continue to CHAMBORD, the largest castle of Loire (entrance to the park included). We will then travel to the center of France, making a stop for coffee in ARGENTON SUR CREUSE, a small medieval town on the banks of the Creuse River. We continue to LIMOGES, a city known for its porcelain, where we recommend a stroll in the center to see its cathedral.

      TODAYยดS HIGHLIGHTS: Dordogne Valley of unforgettable villages. Lascaux cave museum. Beynac medieval castle. Dinner included.We will leave Limoges for the Dordogne. Few regions contain so many villages full of charm and unforgettable countryside. We arrive at LASCAUX, we will include admission to the museum and replica of the caves, we will learn about the siteโ€™s prehistory with the magnificent cave paintings. After that we see SARLAT, a world heritage town with an incredibly well-preserved Renaissance historic center, where there will be time to stroll and have lunch. In BEYNAC we see a medieval castle overlooking the river (admission included). ROCAMADOUR, a beautiful medieval village with an important sanctuary โ€œhungโ€ over a ravine; we suggest you walk down the via crucis and come back up in the lift. Dinner included.

      HIGHLIGHTS: Padirac Caves, Midi Region and winemakers. We will go to the impressive PADIRAC caves, where we include a boat ride on the river 75 meters underground. A stop at COLLONGE LA ROUGE, a very picturesque village built with red stone on the Way of St James. Time for lunch. After lunch we travel to ST. EMILION, at the heart of the Bordeaux wine producing region. Time for a stroll. BORDEAUX, arrival at the end of the afternoon.Notice: The caves may be closed from November or due to the weather conditions.

      TODAYโ€™S HIGHLIGHT: Citรฉ du vin in Bordeaux.- High-Speed train to Paris.- The entire center of Bordeaux has been declared a World Heritage site. You will be amazed by the โ€œwater mirrorโ€ and stroll through the old town with its pedestrian streets and 11th century cathedral. We will include admission (free visit with audio information in English, Spanish or French) to the CITE DU VIN, an impressive interactive museum that recounts the history of the wine and its production; wine tasting included at the viewpoint over Bordeaux. You will have free time later to stroll and have lunch on the banks of the Garonne River, an area full of small restaurants. After lunch we will take you to the railway station where you will take a modern high-speed train. In a little under two hours, you will cover the 500 km between Bordeaux and Paris. Arriving in Paris, the station. Note: If additional nights are needed in Paris, the transfer between the station and your hotel is not included.
