Yet another exclusive feature of an Indian Safari tour is the incredible space and comfort youโ€™ll enjoy while on tour. Our luxury vans have been specially customized with fewer seats, youโ€™ll relax in style whilst enjoying your tour. Please note that seatbelts are not compulsory by law and locals generally choose not to wear them. It is recommend that where seatbelts are available customers use them and remain seated at all times while the vehicle is moving.

Meals

All group tours include 3 meals per day โ€“ breakfast, lunch and dinner, excluding any drinks . Breakfast is a combination of eastern and western cuisine served in a buffet style. Lunch and dinner usually consist of local cuisine served in a banquet style with a range of dishes to choose from. At times it may be necessary to provide simple packed meals due to travel schedules, location and hygiene. Please ensure you advise us of any food allergies or dietary requirements prior to your departure. We will do our utmost to cater to any dietary requirements; however, you should expect complications as we cannot guarantee that all special requirements can be met.

Insurance

It is compulsory, to travel with Indian Safari, that all passengers take out comprehensive travel insurance. It is vital to ensure that you have appropriate cover for your holiday, as overseas medical costs are expensive private health insurance will not cover you outside of your home country. We strongly encourage all travellers to take a copy of their travel insurance documents (especially relevant international contact numbers) with them whilst on tour. We advise that you check the inclusions and procedures for lodging claims prior to your departure. These documents should be stored separately from the originals.

      Welcome to !ndia  


      Welcome to the capital city of New Delhi for a two-night stay. Arrive by 9 pm on this day and check in to your hotel. Meals and rest for the night.

      Delhi, the chaotic capital city  


      Delhi is the perfect place to start this roller coaster of weaving through the alleyways and bazaars of Old Delhi. Today you will visit some of the magnificent monuments like Jama Masjid, Humayunโ€™s Tomb, and Lunch at the famous Karimโ€™s. We also take a drive through Lutyensโ€™ Delhi.

  • Day 3 Day 3: Pench National Park

      Pench National Park  


      Today we take a flight to Nagpur, known as the โ€˜Orange Cityโ€™ of India. We then continue by road to reach Pench. Rest of the day at leisure.

      Day 4: Pench National Park

      Pench- Jeep Safari  This area is described as extremely rich and diverse in wildlife. The Reserve gets its name from the Pench River that flows north to south.  Sharing a healthy corridor with Kanha National Park, some Tigers can migrate from Kanha to Pench and vice versa. We take early morning and afternoon Safaris to spot the handsome Indian Tiger.

  • Day 5 Day 5: Kanha National Park

      Day 5: Kanha National Park

      Kanha National Park  Travel to Kanha, nestled in the eastern part of the Satpura mountains. Itโ€™s the setting of the famous book โ€˜The Deer and The Tigerโ€™ -by George B Schaller.

  • Day 6 Day 6: Kanha National Park

      Day 6: Kanha National Park

      Kanha Tiger Reserve  We begin the search for โ€˜Sher Khanโ€™ the Jungle Book tiger. This reserve has an estimated population of 50-60 tigers. We go out on a Safari at sunrise and enjoy a picnic breakfast, later we return to the lodge. We embark on another Safari in the afternoon to view the scenic the beauty of the forest during sunset and say goodbyes to the wildlife.

      Kanha National Park  This beautiful wild landscape has been the source of inspiration for Rudyard Kiplingโ€™s famous book-โ€˜Jungle Bookโ€™ The Kanha National Park is the home for wide range of wildlife like Tigers, Leopards, Wild dogs, plants, birds, reptiles and โ€˜Barasinghaโ€™- the 12-tined deer.

  • Day 8 Day 8: Bandhavgarh National Park

      Day 8: Bandhavgarh National Park

      Bandhavgarh National Park  We continue our Tiger Trail to Bandhavgarh, known for having one of the highest densities of tigers. A 2000 years old Fort sits on top of a plateau in the middle of the park adding mystery and antiquity to the erstwhile hunting grounds of the Maharajas.

      โ€˜The Jungle Bookโ€™  Enter the world of Rudyard Kiplingโ€™s Jungle Book, a true delight for that wildlife enthusiast in you. Mowgli is raised by wolves in the Indian jungles with the help of Baloo- the bear and Bagheera- the black panther who teach him the "Laws of the Jungle". Some years later, the wolfpack and Mowgli are threatened by the tiger Sher Khan. Mowgli brings fire driving off Sher Khan but showing that he is a man, must leave the jungle.

      Day 10: Bandhavgarh National Park

      Jeep Safari  Discover your wild side today as we start the hunt for the Indian Tiger. We start early morning on an open Jeep Safari and a picnic breakfast. We return for another Jeep Safari in the afternoon after lunch. We enjoy a celebratory dinner with drinks tonight!

      The Endโ€ฆ  Today we drive to Jabalpur and then fly back to New Delhi where this tour will end.
