He will provide information on the places you are travelling through, offer suggestions for things to do and see, recommend great local eating venues. If you were interested in delving deeper into the local culture at a specific site, you can count on your assigned local speaking guide.

In the wake of the ensuing COVID crisis, we have re-invented our hygiene protocols and have taken concrete steps along with training our guides, drivers, representatives and other staff at our destinationsโ€™ offices. So, we are fully prepared for your safe travel. โ€ขHotels will conduct thermal screening of guests, baggage screening, maintaining kitchen hygiene, smooth check-in and check-out process along with daily cleaning of rooms. โ€ขOur drivers/representatives will be wearing masks, using hand sanitizers & gloves, and undergoing thermal screening before every assignment. Any airfares (international or domestic) Monument entry fees. Visa for India, Nepal and Bhutan. Mountain flight charges at Kathmandu. Any mandatory Gala Dinner on Christmas and New Year Eve. Any item of personal nature viz. Laundry. Charges, telephone bills, drinks, shopping, etc. Any items that is not mentioned under Inclusions. Tips : Tipping is a common custom and we always suggest our travelers to comply. No tip is compulsory, however in case of good services rendered, it is advisable to pay by a few rupees (driver / guide). For example, 300 rupees can be left in restaurants (depending on the bill amount), between 300 and 500 rupees per day per person for a good driver.

Flights

The Domestic Flights are not included in the package cost, we will advise you the flight fare once you tell us the exact dates of your travel. The International flight tickets have to be booked on your own. Once you book your international flight tickets, please share with us your schedule so that we can arrange your smooth pick-up and drop off from airport to hotel on your arrival day and hotel to the airport on the departure day. Passports and Visas : All travelers listed on the Participant Information form must be in possession of a valid passport and all relevant visas. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have valid travel documentation, including but not limited to passports and visas, which meet the requirements of immigration and other Government authorities at every destination. If your itinerary includes travel to any other country besides India, please check on visa requirements for each country that you will visit. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be your sole responsibility.

      Delhi: The capital of India, Delhi has been an idyllic symbol of the magnificent past and thriving present of India. The city has never failed to amaze its visitors with its beautiful blend of various nationalities, diverse cultures & traditions, heritage of the bygone eras and its modern lifestyle all rolled into one.

      After breakfast, proceed with Delhi sightseeing tour with first visit to the Jama Masjid - the largest Mosque in India. Visit Chandni Chowk  oldest, biggest bazaar of Old Delhi. Today at Chandni Chowk, explore the narrow alleys & colorful markets & local shoppers. Also get the opportunity to taste the local food in Delhi. On this tour, you will have the most amazing experience and learn about the cityโ€™s history through food. 

      Paranthas: Head to the food-stall-lined lane off Chandni Chowk for delectable parathas (traditional flat bread) fresh off the tawa (hotplate). Choose from a spectacular array of stuffings.

      Natraj Dahi Bhalla - This place offers popular street-food dishes of India. It is famously known as being one of the best Chaat (street food) houses in town & serves, undoubtedly, the best Dahi Bhalle in Delhi!

      Kulfi Faluda: Kulfi is one of the most popular traditional dessert in India. It is made from thickened milk flavored with essence and fruits. Kulfi is said to have originated in Indian subcontinent during the Mughal Empire.

      Later, walk up to Fatehpuri Masjid and enjoy a rickshaw ride till Red Fort. Here our driver will meet you, drive past Red Fort (a 17th century historical fort in Delhi) and reach Rajghat, a memorial where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. An eternal flame burns on one side of this memorial. Visit the Humayun Tomb - first garden-style tomb of India. The main highlight of this tomb, inspired by Persian architecture, is the four garden squares with water passage channels surrounding the tomb. Drive past Rashtrapati Bhawan - residence of the President of India and India Gate - an archway built in honor of the soldiers who died in World War I. Visit Qutub Minar built by Qutab-ud-din Aibak in 1193 to mark the beginning of Muslim rule in India. Overnight stay at hotel in Delhi.

      After breakfast, proceed with a drive to Jaipur.Jaipur: This city isknown as the Pink City of India due to extensive use of pink sandstone in various buildings of the city. Its monuments showcase a myriad of architectural styles and its vibrant bazaars are famous for traditional handicrafts and jewellery. The ambiance of this city speaks volumes of the rich lifestyle of the Rajput Kings.

      After an early morning breakfast, weโ€™ll take to the magnificent Amber Fort, the former capital of the royal Rajputs. Set on the dry, craggy Aravalli Hills, and surrounded by fortified battlements, the palace straddles two sepia-hued tundra hills overlooking Maota Lake. Ride up to this hilltop palace on a Jeep, passing through the ancient main gate where the Maharajas of Jaipur have entered for four hundred years.

      Later in the day, enjoy Lunch with Cooking demonstration at a very fine restaurant in 

      Jaipur. Also visit Turban Museum, one of the premier tourist attractions in the city, the Jaipur Turban Museum houses the largest collection of turbans in the world. Also, get the opportunity to learn how to tie a Rajasthani style Turban. 

      Later, weโ€™ll proceed for a tour of Hawa Mahal or Palace of the Winds, a five-storied structure of pink sandstone with semi-octagonal and delicately honeycombed windows overlooking the main street of the old city. It was built in 1799 so that veiled royal woman could peer down 

      unseen by the world through its 953 ornate stone screens. Also see the City Palace; constructed by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, this 19th century palace exhibits an exquisite blend of Rajput and Mughal architectural styles and features exquisite palaces and buildings. Next stop is Jantar Mantar, again built by Sawai Jai Singh II, which is an astronomical observatory exhibiting architectural astronomical instruments.

      No tour is complete without a little bit of shopping. So in the evening, now proceed to Jaipur Bazaars to experience the local culture and explore the shopping hub Jaipur is famous for. Explore the streets and stores of Jaipur and take a piece of India back home. Jaipur is the central hub for shopping in India. The dazzling bazaars of this hypnotic city are flooded with textiles, footwear, ready-made garments, antique jewels, artifacts, bandhini print, carpets, pottery, marble curios and book, a mind-boggling collection of other exciting items.

  • Day 5 Day 5: Jaipur - Agra Via Fatehpur

      After breakfast, drive to Agra. En route, visit the 16th century Fatehpur Sikri (A UNESCO World Heritage Site) that boasts some of the magnificent monuments built during the Mughal Era. The historical complex boasts uniform architectural style, which includes one of the largest mosques in India, the Jama Masjid. Here visit the Panch Mahal (a five storey palace built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar), Buland Darwaza (the highest gateway in the world built by Emperor Akbar in 1601 to commemorate his victory over Gujarat) and much more.

      Continue drive to Agra. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. After some relaxation, visit Agra Fort (A UNESCO World Heritage Site) that resembles the magnificent Red Fort in Delhi. The Diwan-i-Aam (Hall of Public Audience), Diwan-i-Khas (Hall of Private Audience ) and the Sheesh Mahal (Palace of Mirrors) are a must-see attractions here. Overnight stay at hotel in Agra.

      Early morning visit to the Taj Mahal (A UNESCO World Heritage Site) - the most extravagant symbol of love, dedication and purity ever that took almost 22 years to build. It is an ivory-white marble monument where rests the mortals of Mughal Emperor Shahjahan (who built Taj Mahal) and his wife (Mumtaz). An interesting fact about this stunning edifice is that it turns pinkish in the morning, milky white in the evening and golden at night as the moonlight falls upon it. Watching sunrise over this iconic monument, is truly a sight to behold.


      Return to the hotel for breakfast. Check-out from the hotel and visit the Agra Fort that resembles the magnificent Red Fort in Delhi. The Diwan-i-Aam (Hall of Public Audience), Diwan-i-Khas (Hall of Private Audience ) and the Sheesh Mahal (Palace of Mirrors) are a must-see attractions here.

      Kathmandu (Approx. 4,600 ft) is the capital city of Nepal. It is a spiritual paradise for those with religious as well as spiritual bent of mind. Not only this, it is quite popular among adventure lovers and trekkers. 

      On arrival, check-in at hotel, rest and relax. Enjoy rest of the day at own leisure or exploring the town. Overnight stay at hotel in Kathmandu.

      After breakfast, you will gear up for an early morning excursion where you will enjoy a one-hour scenic mountain flight (charge extra) to the Himalayas, soaring past the iconic Mount Everest. (Moutain flight is not included in the tour price, Payable extra).
      Keep your cameras handy as you can enjoy clicking amazing pictures of the Himalayas and the Kathmandu Valley.

      Return to the hotel and settle in for breakfast. 

      Later, visit Swayambhunath Stupa  (A UNESCO World Heritage Site) located on a small hillock. The stupa has been a hallmark of faith and harmony since centuries. It is believed to have been formed around 2,000 years ago. This sacred site of Tibetan Buddhists and Hindus is richly decorated with gold-ornate temples and vibrant prayer flags. Head to the Kathmandu Durbar Square  (A UNESCO World Heritage Site) located opposite the royal King palace of Kathmandu. The construction of various royal palaces at this site dates back to as old as 3rd century. The precinct houses array of temples and other structures inspired from the Newari (derived from Newar - the historical inhabitants of the Kathmandu Valley) architectural style. A massive earthquake in 2015 hit this area, which is still clearly evident in these structures. Next, visit the Pashupatinath Temple (A UNESCO World Heritage Site) a sacred Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva (God of Destruction) decorated with intricate wood carvings and architecture of the walls. It is the oldest Hindu Temple of Kathmandu and attracts thousands of pilgrims each year. Later, drive to the Boudhanath Stupa (A UNESCO World Heritage Site) - the largest as well as holiest Buddhist temple in Nepal. Dating to the 14th century, it is an important pilgrimage and meditation spot for Tibetan Buddhism. At the top of the Stupa are a pair of omnipresent Buddha eyes on all four sides, same as that of Swayambunath Stupa.

      This morning after breakfast, set off for a half-day sightseeing tour of Bhadgaon, also known as Bhaktapur. Located just 14 km off the Kathmandu city, Bhaktapur is one of the three royal cities in Nepal, and is believed to have been founded in the 9th century. The old city boasts of extraordinary ancient architecture comprising of pagoda style architecture with copper roofs on wooden and mud-brick buildings can be seen here. The city is an authentic representation of the Nepali culture and heritage, centuries before the modern era had taken over.

      You can observe here the talented local artisans crafting beautiful potteries.

      Later, we will drive for the another half-day sightseeing tour at Patan city. Patan, also called Laitpur (which means city of beauty), is one of the three main cities in the Kathmandu Valley. It is an important historical and cultural centre of Nepal. The city is believed to be the first settlement in the valley, established by the rulers of the Kirat dynasty who ruled for more than 1200 years from the 3rd century BC.

      You will be exploring the Patan Durbar Square (listed under the UNESCO World Heritage site), which welcomes its visitors to an amazing collection of stunningly carved temples, palace courtyards, public baths, and houses featuring elaborate wood work, stone and metal carvings, under the patronages of different dynasties of the valley will leave a lasting impression. There are more than 1000 temples and monuments, that make up the finest collection of temples and palaces in Nepal.

      After breakfast, leave for Kathmandu Airport. Enjoy your flight (two hours approx.) from Kathmandu to Paro. Upon arrival, our company representative will greet you at the airport and assist you in a further road journey to Thimphu, the capital and the largest city of Bhutan. Thimphu also counts as one of the highest capital city in the world by altitude (Approx. 7,375 ft.).

      Even after outside influence, the country has managed to be one of the most well-preserved nations both culturally and ecologically. The wealth of this city is its traditional monastic complexes, laid-back spiritual lifestyle and pristine surroundings. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. Day free at leisure.       After breakfast, your Thimphu sightseeing tour begins with a visit to Kingโ€™s Memorial Chorten (Approx. 9,350 ft.) - one of the most iconic monuments of Thimphu - built in 1974 as a memorial of Jigme Dorji Wangchuck (3rd king of Thimphu). Next, soak in the magnificent views of Buddha Dordenma, located atop a hilltop, featuring a 169 ft high bronze statue of Shakyamuni Buddha that is believed to spread an aura of peace and happiness to the entire world. Later, head to the Folk Heritage Museum (Phelchey Toenkhyim) built in 2011. It offers fascinating insights of the traditional Bhutanese lifestyle, rural traditions and customs. This museum distincts itself with its unusual settings. Visit the Sangaygang BBS Tower (Approx. 8800 ft.) that offers its visitors with panoramic views of the entire Thimphu valley. Spend time clicking photographs here. Also, explore the 12th century Changangkha Lhakhang (Approx. 8,000 ft.) that is said to be the oldest temple of Thimphu. It is a fortress like temple dedicated to Avaloketesvara (Buddha of Compassion). Enjoy birdโ€™s eye view of the Thimphu valley here.       Paro: The city of Paro (Approx. 7,200 ft) extends from the confluence of the Rivers Paro Chhu and Wang Chhu. It is a picturesque and historic town of Bhutan dotted with elegant, traditional-style, various Buddhist temples and monasteries dating back to 14th century and the most iconic landmark - the Tigerโ€™s nest - a Buddhist monastery carved out into a 4,000-foot high cliff in 1692.

      On arrival in Paro, check-in at the hotel. Day free to explore the city on your own.

      After breakfast, head for Paro sightseeing tour with first visit to the Chelela Pass (Approx. 13,084 ft.). It is considered to be the highest motorable roads in Bhutan. Enjoy stunning and unobstructed views of the snow-capped mountains here. Visit the Rinpung Dzong (Approx. 7,500 ft.) meaning "the fortress of the heap of jewels") in Paro District, which served as a bastion against invasion. This dzong (monastery) is home to the state monks and is also the district headquarter of Paro. Explore one of the oldest and most beautiful temples of Bhutan - Kyichu Lhakhang built in 659 AD. End your day with a visit to the enchanting Tigerโ€™s Nest otherwise called Lhakhang Taktshang (Approx. 10,000 ft). This is where Guru Rinpoche (founder of Tibetan Buddhism, and who brought Buddhism to Bhutan) arrived seated on a tigress and medidated in the 8th century. It is considered to be one of the most powerful and spiritual places among the Buddhists. Nestled on the edge of a cliff overlooking the lovely pine and rhododendrons forests, trekking here becomes quit challenging as the trail gets steeper. Overnight stay at hotel in Paro.
