      The stunning Murghal architecture reached its zenith during the reign of Akbar, Jehangir, and Shah Jahan. Agra also became a center of art, culture, commerce, and learning during Akbarโ€™s reign.


      Among its exceptional monuments are Agra Fort, and the monumental Sikandra, one of the best-preserved monuments of India, and famous for Akbarโ€™s mausoleum, which displays a harmonious blend of Hindu, Christian, Islamic, Buddhist, and Jain designs and motifs.
