Itinerary of your trip Sailing Around Greek Islands Of Saronic Gulf

  • Day 1 Aegina
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Aegina

On the first day of our cruise, we will visit two capitals. Our journey starts in ancient Athens. But instead of Acropolis we are going to the supermarket for provisions. Donโ€™t worry, all local landmarks you can visit on your way back from cruise. After all, events of ancient Greek myths were happening on the islands. Immediately after receiving the yacht, we sail to the first capital of an independent Greek state - Aegina island. According to the legend, it is here that Zeus seduced Aegina, daughter of the river god Asol. Today many Athenians flee from urban fuss to the nearby island. Here you can find one of the most ancient structures in the world - the Afea temple, which is more than two and a half thousand years old.

  • Day 2 Methana
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Methana

When approaching marina Methana, you can smell light hydrogen sulphide aroma. No wonder - on island there are 32 volcanoes, one of which is still active. It didnโ€™t erupt any fire or lava for more than two thousand years, operating now as "boiler room" for spa centers. The ascent to the volcanic crater will take about 30 minutes and the rest of the time on the island we recommend to spend in baths. Mud lake Vromolimni can treat both body and soul with water temperature about 35 ยฐ C. And the rest of cooler sources also have healing properties. When locals wish you a good health they say โ€œMay you never need these watersโ€.

  • Day 3 Hydra
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Hydra

New day brings us to the new destination - this time itโ€™s the most picturesque island Hydra. You wonโ€™t find a single car here! All traffic - horses and wagons. During the day Hydra pretends to be quiet, but after the sunset music from taverns become louder and parties are roaring. Hydra residents can afford to sin a bit, because on this tiny island there are more than 300 churches and about dozen of monasteries. So their relationship with God is excellent.

  • Day 4 Spetses
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Spetses

Our next stop is the most fragrant island of the Saronic Gulf - Spetses. There are many comfortable beaches and coves drowning in the pine groves. The island belonged to the Venetians for a long time, but architectural landscape of neoclassicism was created by wealthy Greeks, who following the royal family built here their holiday houses.

  • Day 5 Poros
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Poros

In ancient times sailors avoided Poros - the residence of Poseidon. Only Theseus stopped here before he killed Minotaur. In modern times Poseidon became softer, so we can enjoy his hospitality and even visit the ruins of his temple. The island is famous for its lemon forest Lemonodasos with more than 30 thousand trees, several small waterfalls and an old mill. Vagionia beach is also a very interesting place. With snorkeling mask you can see underwater whole streets of an ancient city that was flooded in result of volcanic eruption.

  • Day 6 Perdika
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Perdika

Hanging octopuses is the symbol of this picturesque village Perdika. Local residents, like hundreds of years ago, are living off the sea. This is the place, where you have to visit one of the many fish restaurants. From the embankment of the village you can clearly see the uninhabited island Moni, belonging to Moni Monastery and ... wild goats, who feel themselves as full-fledged masters and eat straight from the hands of enthusiastic tourists.

  • Day 7 Athens
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Athens

Next morning we transfer to Athens, where we leave our yachts and arrange a big farewell party. Traditionally, all crews come together, enjoy local cuisine, share their impressions and, of course, planning the next cruises.
