      • Reception at the Jose María Córdova International Airport in Rionegro

      • Private transfer to the hotel

      • Check-in at the hotel, and welcome dinner, if the itinerary allows it.


  • Day 2 Day 2: Medellin – Bahia Solano (The Choco Adventure Begins)
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 2: Medellin – Bahia Solano (The Choco Adventure Begins)

      • Breakfast at the hotel.

      • Transfer to Medellin local airport, Enrique Olaya Herrera for a domestic flight to Bahia Solano, Chocó Department.

      • Transfer from José Celestino Mutis airport to the hotel, check-in.

      • Traditional lunch in one of the allied restaurants of the community to support their regional economy. 

      • In the afternoon, accompanied by our guide, we will take a tour to the natural waterfalls. 

      • At night, we will have dinner and natives and locals will share their idiosyncrasy with us.

  • Day 3 Day 3: Ensenada De Utria – Nnp (National Natural Park)

      Day 3: Ensenada De Utria – Nnp (National Natural Park)

      • Breakfast at the hotel.

      • We will take a Tuk-Tuk (regional transportation mean) to EL VALLE Village. Once there, we will ride a boat to Ensenada de Utría National Natural Park, a wonderful bay chosen by Humpback whales to teach their calves to swim.

      • In high season (Jun-Oct) we could witness the exuberant and imposing beauty of the Humpback whales and their calves, we could be a witness of a nature miracle. 

      • In Utría, we will meet the park’s guides who will give us an eco-talk to introduce us to the biodiversity of the place.

      • Afterward, they will take us on a tour around the park’s trails and mangroves, where we will observe the park’s variety of fauna, flora, and vegetation. Utría National Natural Park is an ancient territory for Afro-descendants who depend on the goods and services supplied by the protected area. 

      • We will find an exuberant tropical jungle that receives migratory species of birds and whales, where the beautiful cove grows and decreases with the tides. 

      • Traditional lunch in one of the allied restaurants of the community to support their regional economy. 

      • We will have some free time to enjoy the ocean. 

      • Return by boat to the hotel.

      • Dinner and accommodation.


  • Day 4 Day 4: Eco-Paseo To (Mecana Beach)
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 4: Eco-Paseo To (Mecana Beach)

      • Breakfast at the hotel.

      • We will take a Tuk-Tuk to the dock to take a boat to MECANA BEACH. Mecana is one of Bahia Solano’s villages and its located north of the Municipality head. 

      • If the tides allow it, we will hike along the beach among rivers and mangroves (1h30 approx.).

      • We will drink Coconut water and will take a refreshing bath. 

      • In Mecana´s surroundings, multiple activities can be done, such as:

      o Snorkeling.

      o Fishing.

      o Trekking. 

      o Interpretative Guidance. 

      • Traditional lunch in one of the allied restaurants of the community to support their regional economy.

      • We will get to the Pacific’s Wild Life Sanctuary and visit the Botanical Garden. 

      • Ride on a traditional canoe through mangroves. 

      • In the afternoon, we will take a boat back to Bahia Solano (15 mins.).

      • Dinner and accommodation.

  • Day 5 Day 5: Playa Larga – (Tortugario Spawning In Season)
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      • Breakfast at the hotel.

      • We will take a transfer in Tuk-Tuk to EL VALLE Village to take a tour of 2hrs approx. through roads, beaches, and jungle until we get to SEPTEMBER STATION or MAMA ORBE TORTUGARIO.

      • In the season between June and February, we could see sea turtles and set them free so they get to El Valle beaches to spawn. 

      • Interpretative guidance. 

      • Traditional lunch in Mama Orbe Family Eco Farm, the Pinilla family knows, teaches and takes care of the environment surrounding them. 

      • Enjoy the cuisine, the ocean and the beach, the rivers, sport fishing, and many more experiences.

      • Dinner and accommodation.

  • Day 6 Day 6: Upstream Canoe (Through Tundó River, To Visit Community & Biodiversity)

      Day 6: Upstream Canoe (Through Tundó River, To Visit Community & Biodiversity)

      • Breakfast at the hotel.

      • We will travel in Tuk-Tuks to EL VALLE Village. 

      • Right next to El Valle we will find the Tundó River, whose crystal waters slide through the jungle, a shelter for a big part of the world’s biodiversity.

      • One of our two hosts, will accompany us to this adventure taking us through the river and sharing their knowledge of birds and fauna, of local riverside communities and this jungle’s stories.  Live an experience that will connect you to nature!

      • Interpretative guided tour. 

      • Traditional lunch in one of the allied restaurants of the community to support their regional economy.

      • Return by canoe to El Valle, and from there in Tuk-Tuk to Bahia Solano.

      • Dinner and accommodation. 

      • Depending on the tides (high tide preferably), we will enjoy El Almejal beach in the morning to return to Bahia Solano around 5 pm.

  • Day 7 Day 7: Walk Through The Jungle (El Almejal) Waterfalls At The Bay

      • We will visit with our tour guide all the waterfalls that surround the bay, enjoying them and the ocean, which is just 5 minutes away. 

      • Walk around the jungle’s great trees.  

      • Visit to the Virgin Mary’s Balcony from where we can take pictures of the beautiful bay. 

      • Natural Pool of Love and trail to virgin beaches. 

      • We will enjoy the ocean and its calm waters as there are no strong waves.

      • Ride in Tuk-Tuk to El Valle Village. 

      • We will get into the jungle from behind El Almejal beach, next to El Valle. Nowadays, the jungle is a preservation temple to be observed, but it was not some years ago since this was the most craved place of hunters. The hunting trails became trails for eco-tourism so our visit helps the community have sustainable opportunities to protect the ecosystems and not destroy them!

      • This hike will push us into the jungle, accompanied by a true expert in its secrets, an expert in footprints, sounds, and species.

      • We will see poisonous frogs, birds, iguanas, monkeys, some rodents, and the Pacific Ocean’s immensity from the mountain, refreshing waterfalls in the middle of the jungle, little creeks, and so much more. 

      • Interpretative guided tour.

      • Return from El Valle in Tuk-Tuk to Bahia Solano.

  • Day 8 Day 8: Bahia Solano – Medellin

      • Breakfast at the hotel. 

      • In the morning, transfer to José Celestino Mutis local airport; we will take a short flight back to Medellin.

      • Reception at the Enrique Olaya Herrera airport to be transferred to José María Córdova International Airport for your international flight and happy return home.
