First stop: your accommodation! In the middle of nature, you’ll find your glamping tent, where you won’t miss a single sound of nature. Day 3: Hidden Island Dreams: Île Aux Cerfs

Ready to go? Mauritius’ ultimate beach vibes await you! A daily boat transfer is offered from the Otentic Eco Lodge to Île aux Cerfs (registration required the day before) - all you have to do then is pack your swimsuit and weigh anchor! At 9:30 am, you set off and hop across the waves of the Indian Ocean by boat until you reach the offshore dream island. It’s hard to believe how beautiful it looks from afar: bright white sandy beaches surrounded by green pine trees and palm landscapes. The sea is crystal clear and shimmers in various shades of turquoise. Feel the soft sand under your feet and enjoy the magnificent view. The best thing is that, unlike other boat tours, you head for the remote part of Île aux Cerfs, where you can get the most authentic island feeling. So: spread out your towel and relax! The boat will take you back to the Eco Lodge at around 13:00. Now get back on the stand-up paddle board or perhaps you’d like to try kite surfing?

Jump into your rental car - Mahébourg’s hustle and bustle beckons you on a tour of discovery. Visit the market, which offers all kinds of exotic street food, and soak up the genuine, colorful life of Mauritius. You can already see Lion Mountain from the city’s promenade - do you recognize the lion’s silhouette? If you would like to pay a visit to the king of the animals, lace up your hiking boots and walk over his back right up to his head. Even if the hike costs you a bead or two of sweat - the effort is worth it! Once you reach the top, a unique panorama and a magical moment await you: your gaze wanders over the entire east coast to the turquoise blue sea and glistening white sandy beaches. Wow! Would you rather work on your complexion and have a really good time on the beach? Then head on to the beautiful Pointe d’Esny beach. Mauritius has something for everyone.

Your motto: always follow your nose! At the Central Market, you can get everything your heart desires, from fresh fruit to wild spice blends that will conjure up the taste of Mauritius on your tongue. Be sure to try it: Pineapple with salt and chili! Sounds unusual, but tastes heavenly! Your next stop: the small coastal town of Flic en Flac. Walk along the palm-lined promenades down to the beach and plop down on the first sun lounger you come across. Enjoy the sound of the waves, the warmth of the sun on your cheeks and the feeling of timelessness in your own personal paradise. Even the most beautiful paradise has to say goodbye at some point - but not without a stopover at the impressive Tamarind Falls!
Grab your rental car, step on the gas pedal and head for Bel Ombre. Once there, it’s time to put your feet up: Put your feet up, enjoy the sun and relax. And where better to do that than on the beautiful white sandy beach?

The sun is shining, the day is awakening, high time to start your adventure! You can already see your destination for today from afar: Le Morne Brabant - a 556-metre-high giant that watches over the western part of the island. Leave your rental car in the parking lot and sign the hiking book before you really get going. For the first half, you walk through shady forest, watching the wildlife slowly awaken and the birds sing their songs. You hum along quietly and soon catch your first glimpse of the breathtaking landscape. The wide paths have now become narrow trails - absolute explorer vibes! And then you’re standing at the top, turning in circles in amazement. In front of you, the sea shines in every shade of blue imaginable, interrupted only by green islands with their beautiful bays and steep cliffs. Wow! Ready for the descent? Wait, the souvenir photo is still missing!

Rainforest, rugged coastline or white sandy beaches, a new day is dawning and it needs to be well spent! Once you have decided on tropical greenery, head towards Black River Gorge National Park in your rental car, as a very special highlight awaits you in the immediate vicinity: not far from the national park, you stand on top of a platform and are overwhelmed: In the middle of dense forest lies a rainbow-colored sand dune of red, brown, purple, pink, green, blue and yellow - the "Seven Colored Earth". What a sight! No less special: the Chamarel Waterfall. The natural masses of water plunge into the depths here as if painted. How about a short hike back to the national park? After all, there are still a few more kilometers waiting to be conquered. Alternatively, head to Tamarind’s coast and enjoy the beach vibes one last time, including cooling off in perfectly turquoise waters and drinks with pineapple slices.

Today we are heading to the Seychelles, more precisely to the island of Mahé. Hand over your rental car at the airport and take to the skies. After experiencing and doing so much, you can now treat yourself to a well-deserved break. And the beautiful sandy beaches of Mahé are just what you need! You will be picked up at the airport and taken to your next special accommodation.
Spend a few relaxing beach days on the largest island in the Seychelles. Longing to relax and cool off in the sea? Nothing could be easier: on Mahé, one dream beach beats the next! On a headland in the southwest of the island, you will find Anse Soleil and Petite Anse, two sandy beaches that are hard to beat in terms of beauty. Dive into the gentle waters of the Indian Ocean and let yourself be carried away by the tropical vibe. Toast to the adventures ahead with a delicious cocktail at your accommodation - cheers!

In classic island style, you hop on one of the many boats that depart daily from Victoria’s harbor in the direction of adventure (optional, payable locally). Full speed ahead! The unique marine reserve makes your long-awaited snorkeling dreams come true and takes you between the islands of Sainte Anne, Cerf, Long Round and Moyenne into a colourful underwater world (national park fee payable locally). The variety and quantity of colorful fish and other sea creatures is overwhelming! A big plus: your chances of encountering eagle rays, seahorses and sea turtles are extremely good here! So, what are you waiting for? Put on some sunscreen, grab your snorkeling goggles and dive into the colourful reef!

All day beach day is all well and good, but Mahé doesn’t just have beautiful beaches and an enchanting underwater world to offer. Today you are drawn to the green side of the island towards the mangroves and mountain forests - a trip to the Morne Seychellois National Park is just what you need! You can explore the extensive park on numerous hiking trails. On the Sans Soucis Road, which runs through the national park, is the Trois Frères Trail, which leads up to the Trois Frères, the second highest point on Mahé. Past the carnivorous pitcher plants and exotic flowers, you follow the path through the dense jungle until you reach a huge granite rock that offers you a great view of Victoria and the small islands off the coast. Still haven’t seen enough? Then hop on a bus at sunset (optional, payable locally) and drive past picturesque villages through untouched nature to Cap Lazare, a stretch of beach with sparkling turquoise water. What a view!
