  • Day 1 Day 1: Mandalay (Arrival)

      Arrive at Mandalay by flight. 

      Upon your arrival, clear Immigration and Customs, proceed to the arrival area. 

      Welcome by our guide.

      Visit in Mandalay; Maharmuni Buddha Image and gold-leaf workshop, sculptures & wood-carving and puppets workshop. 

      Discuss with your guide for the interested places upon your interest.

      Then, in the evening, visit famous golden palace monastery, the only vestige of Royal Palace, and Kuthodaw Pagoda, the world biggest book.

  • Day 2 Day 2: Mingun, Sagaing

      This morning, transfer to jetty to take local private boat for Mingun, at 7 miles north of Mandalay, crossing Irrawaddy River that will give you river scene with activities of fishermen and bamboo barges. Walkway of the village, visit Pahtotawgyi temple, the worldโ€™s unfinished pagoda and its gigantic bell and Mya Thein Dan Pagoda.

      In the afternoon visit in Sagaing, a peaceful neighboring town of Mandalay on the other side of Irrawaddy River. It is considered the living centre of the Buddhist faith in Myanmar and famous among the locals as the retreat. Drive up Sagaing Hill and visit Soon-u-ponnya-shin pagoda at the top and Umin Thone Se Pagoda. View the panoramic view of over 600 religious monuments such as monasteries, nunneries, temples and pagodas dotted on the slope of the hill. Then, visit to a nunnery to have a look their life in there. Visit to Kaungmhudaw Pagoda, a big dome shape of Stupa and it was built by 17th Century.

      After breakfast, continue to visit to the ancient capitals of Ava, several Burmese kingdoms for 5 centuries and local ferry with crossing of river which allows access to the island of Ava, and visit by horse cart for an original discovery of this site today and visit the monastery in drums teakwood Bagaya Kyaung and Mai Nu Oakkyaung.

      And, visit  to Amarapura, the ancient capital before Mandalay, and learn monastic life in Maha Gandayon monastery. Walk on U Bein Wooden Bridge or take a canoe in Taungthaman Lake to enjoy the scenic beauty and ways of fishing.

      This morning, drive about 2 hours to Pyin Oo Lwin which is famous as โ€˜The City of Flowersโ€™, for its different species and colorful flowers grown intensively. On the way,  stop for a visit in small market of local products. Upon arrival, visit to Kandawgyi Botanical Garden, the first garden in the country. In the evening, visit in town.

      In the morning, go to the Railway station to take the train that passes over the railway Gokteik viaduct, 102m high, built in 1901. Arrive at Hsipaw, an old town of Sawbwa โ€œShan prince" in late afternoon. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel.

      Start with the trekking to farmersโ€™ villages enjoying the panoramic scenery of paddy fields, seasonal crops, mountains and river, experience traditional lifestyle of Shan Villages by visiting houses. Go back to Hsipaw for lunch. 

      After lunch, make the boat ride which allows us to enjoy the unforgettable scenery with the mountains, the valley and the fields & the rice paddies. Visit an old monastery by crossing (45 minutesโ€™ walk) the plantations of papaya, pineapple and orange trees. Take the boat ride to go to the confluence of the river and it allows you to swim if you want. Return to the hotel.

      Alliance Myanmar River Cruise from Mandalay to Bagan (8 hours) during high season (from October to March)

      This morning transfer to jetty and embark Alliance River Cruise/ RV Panorama to Bagan. The whole cruising day gives you the opportunity to see ways of life on Irrawaddy, famous River which originates at north of country at base of Himilaya and flows to the South to enter into Indian Ocean. With RV Panorama, one village will be visited on the way to observe ways of life of villagers. Arrive at Bagan in the evening. Transfer to your hotel.

      In the morning, visit colourful Nyaung U Market and then Shwezigone, Gubyaukgyi Temple for its mural paintings and Htilominlo Temple. In the afternoon, visit lacquerware shop to observe the impressive work. In the afternoon, visit the suggested buildings; are venerable Ananda Temple, Shwe Gu Gyi, Maha Bodhi, etc. Visit to Sulamani Sunset Viewing Hill from which youโ€™ll see a fabulous sunset, which canโ€™t be missed.

      After breakfast, Myinkabar Village where can be found Myingabar Gubyaukgyi Temple for mural paintings, Manuha, Nan Phaya, etc. Visit a lacquer-ware workshop for its impressive steps of production in the afternoon. 

      Visit different temples near Min Nan Thu village and then, West Phwar-Saw village to see the daily life of villagers. In the late afternoon, continue the visit to the colossal temple โ€œDhammayangyiโ€ and โ€œSulamaniโ€by horse cart passing through jungle of temples.

      In the morning, fly to Heho. Upon arrival, drive to Pindaya cave, natural cave which is home to over eight thousands of Buddha images. And then observe traditional Shan paper and umbrella production. Then, drive to Kalaw and visit Shwe Umin Phaya and Hnee Phaya.Explore around small train station in colonial style, and colourful Kalaw Market.

      A night stop in Kalaw will give you the atmospheres of freshness from pine trees and of attraction from colonial houses of the resort city.

      After breakfast, drive to Loikaw, the capital of Kayah state where houses to Padaung tribes. Enroute, visit a village with cheroots leaves and observe the production procedure. Arrive at Loikaw in the late afternoon and enjoy sunset from Taung Kwe Pagoda.

      One hour transfer by car brings you to Ngwe Taung Dam and Demoso Township to jump off our wonderful one hour soft trekking to beautiful Padaung village. The name of Panpet village the origin place of the Kayah Padaung tribe that female beautiful ideal has traditionally been the extra-long necks help up by heavy copper rings. The name of the Village is Bokey and Run Ku Daw Key Panpet. Have picnic lunch on the small hill side. Then, back to Loikaw and on the way visit to Kaybohto.

      This morning, leave by car towards Hpekhone. Leave by motorized canoe to visit Hpekhone. Visit Sagar Village,  Shan princely city from 16 centuries and Tarkhaung Pagoda Complex. Then, lunch at Sagar and go to the south of Inle Lake, has been inaccessible and find the beautiful scenery surrounded by green hills.

      After breakfast, start to explore the exquisite sights of Inle Lake by boat, visiting floating villages scattered along the lake and floating firms, traditional fishing, traditional art and crafts. Then, visit Ngephechaung monastery with its collection of Buddha Images and Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda

      After breakfast, visit the 5 days market, which is held once in every five days. It is the best opportunity to see hill tribes coming down to sell and buy their products. 

      Then, explore Indein by small passage, the exciting view Indein Temple complex is situated in the western shore of the lake and most of the internal wall of the ruins of 1054 shrines make you say โ€œwowโ€. Indein Temple is a complex which travelers express as Mini- Angkor.

      Return to the hotel in the evening.

      In the morning, start your trekking towards Eastern part of Inle Lake. Firstly, we are heading to small hillock to Htat Eain (about 1 hour) village which has famous for natural lime stone cave and nearby monastery. After that we are going to climb up seven steps hill and Lwekin village (about 15 minutes). The villagers grow cheroot plants, corn and beans to see their daily live in the farms. We also walk pass the small reservoir and the natural spring which make fresh up to everybody. And then, walk along the small street towards Kandaw village for lunch. After around 15 minutes by walking, you will arrive to Lwengun monastery and pass through Nyaung Phyu village about 30 minutes. Then, arrive at Nanthe village by passing through Phayagyi village and Malatkhot village about 1 hour. Transfer to hotel by boat.

      Transfer to airport for flight back to Yangon. On arrival, transfer to your hotel. In the late afternoon, visit to the most famous Shwedagon, which is over 350 feet tall, gilded in gold and gems, the Shwedagon is the most revered shrine in the country. It is the dream of all Burmese people to see the Shwedagon at least once in their lifetime.

      After breakfast, visit to downtown laid out by the British in a typical colonial grid, Yangonโ€™s shaded streets are a delight to roam. Continue the city orientation tour with the visits of Chaukhtatgyi (reclining Buddha), Colonial Buildings in downtown, Pass Buddhist pagodas, Hindu and Chinese temples, Islamic mosques, Anglican cathedrals, and even a synagogue. 

      Overnight at Yangon

      In the morning, continue by road to Kyaikhtiyo (4hr of road 190km south of Yangon), one of the most curious Burmese sites, also the largest pilgrimage center of the country. A huge rock is a miracle, balanced on a cliff. You arrive at Kyaikhto (Kimpun Camp), and continue a rise for 45 minutes in a truck which will allow you to make the climb up to Top Mountain. Upon arrival, make check-in at the hotel and visit the site.

Return to Yangon by your awaiting car, on the way, stop by Bago to visit Kambawzathadi Palace rebuilding as the old model of king โ€œBayinnaungโ€ house of 16th century, โ€œShwethalyaungโ€ pagoda and Kyaik-pun with colossal 4 Buddha Image. Arrive back at Yangon in the evening.
