However, before San Juan del Sur we will make a stop at the Parque Nacional Volcan Masaya, created in 1979 with an extension of 54 Km2. This is one of the most visited national parks in Nicaragua, with five craters (some of them extinct), dry forest flora and fauna, and an active crater (depending on the weather you could even see gases or even lava at the bottom of one of the craters).

After the Volcan Masaya our bilingual guide will take you to Catarina and the Pueblos Blancos (white towns). These beautiful towns hold the cultural heritage of our native people. One town stands out for the fine pottery produced by many artisans: San Juan De Oriente. Here you will see hundreds of handmade pieces painted with vibrant colors, whose techniques are well guarded secrets passed from generation to generation.  The next town is Masatepe, with its beautiful wood furniture industry, to finish at the Craft and Arts Market in Masaya.
