Youโ€™ll visit two different sites including Vaavuโ€™s famous shipwreck, and there will be opportunities to observe turtles, reef sharks, rays and a host of tropical marine life. Shipwreck snorkelling is a unique experience, especially if youโ€™re not a scuba diver. The half-sunken shipwreck on the shallow reef within Vaavu atoll is becoming a home for colourful corals and is the perfect location for underwater photographs to share and enjoy looking back on. A host of scuba-diving options are also available for both certified divers and also for beginners. Fulidhoo and its surrounding waters are some of the best in the Maldives for scuba-diving, with a wide breadth of different types of dives and a huge variety of marine life to see. The sites we tour will depend on weather and ocean conditions, but you can be assured of encountering a colourful array of marine life. As we cruise the ocean be sure to keep on the lookout for dolphins who like to swim alongside the bow of the boat. OVERNIGHT: Fulidhoo guesthouse. MEALS: Breakfast. EXTRAS: NULL

Day 6: Guided Snorkelling, Swim With Nurse Sharks

The warm waters surrounding Vaavu offer great snorkelling, with colourful schools of reef fish swimming around soft corals and larger species like barracuda, rays, turtles and reef sharks often making an appearance. Vaavu is also famous for its nurse sharks โ€“ these tawny nurse sharks are โ€“ for the most part โ€“ calm and docile and harmless to swimmers and snorkelers. Nurse sharks may have the ominous dorsal fin of a predator, but they are much easier going than your average shark. Fulidhoo is famous for its nurse sharks and we will visit a site popular with them today. You can float on the surface and watch them, or for the less brave, remain on the boat where you can still observe these awesome marine creatures. OVERNIGHT: Fulidhoo guesthouse. MEALS: Breakfast.
