      Day 1: Lviv

      Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel in the heart of the city. After some time to freshen up we will take you for a walk around this medieval town with a modern vibe for a city orientation. In the evening, weโ€™ll treat you to dinner in one of the many local restaurants.

      Day 2: Lviv

      In the morning after breakfast we will take you on a walking city tour, to get you acquainted with the rich culture and history of the city, followed by lunch in one of our favorite local restaurants. Then, youโ€™ll get to know why Lviv is called the โ€™The City of coffeeโ€™ by drinking fragrant coffee in one of the most unique coffee shops in the city. Learn about the history, listen to the legends and enjoy the aromas of fresh grinded coffee with a piece of cheesecake. Enjoy the afternoon on your own as you explore and get some shopping time in at the local souvenir market, where youโ€™ll be able to stock up embroidered shirts, handcrafted souvenirs and accessories and much more! Optional: Take a beer tour - you will be impressed with a wide range and taste variety of Lviv beer in the best breweries of the city! (Tours must be arranged in advance.       Day 3: Lviv / Halych / Ivano-Frankivsk

      We are leaving beautiful Lviv and heading to Ivano-Frankivsk, on the way we will stop in ancient Halych. The city gave its name to the historic province of Galicia (Halychyna), to the Principality of Halych and to the Kingdom of Galiciaโ€“Volhynia. Written mention of Halych by Slavic chronicles dates back to 1138. So itโ€™s definitely worth visiting. Here, in Halych weโ€™ll treat you to lunch in a truly special restaurant called โ€˜Milky Wayโ€™. On our way we just cannot miss a beautiful town, which has a significant part in the history of Halychyna region. It is called Rohatyn, full of legends ancient town with the 16th century wooden church. You will get to hear the fascinating story about a young Ukrainian girl who came from this town and in the 16th made the whole world talk about her! Upon arrival in Ivano-Frankivsk, weโ€™ll check you in at the hotel in the city centre and will show you around a bit so you know where to go dinner, where to exchange money or the nearest ATMs.

      Morning timeโ€“breakfast in the hotel and weโ€™ll take you on a city tour-itโ€™s a good chance to enjoy a leisurely walk through the city, learning its history and visiting them a in tourist sites. This charming city, with its parks, lush gardens, European-style houses and historical monuments, will make an impression on you! The rest of the day is yours to enjoy: if you have any relatives in the area, your guide can help you arrange the meeting with them. Otherwise, you may explore this marvelous city on your own. Your Tour Leader will recommend places worth visiting and help you get there. In the evening, weโ€™ll have a group dinner in one of our favourite local restaurants!

  • Day 5 Day 5: Ivano-Frankivsk / Kolomyia

      Day 5: Ivano-Frankivsk / Kolomyia

      In the morning, after breakfast and checkout, youโ€™ll be moving on to relax in the Carpathian Mountains! On the way, we will visit quaint little town called Kolomyia, justly considered to be a centre of Pokuttya. You will visit the worldโ€™s only Pysanka Museum, and Hutsul Culture and Art Museum, explore local arts & crafts in souvenir & antiques stores. After lunch, weโ€™ll continue on travelling to the mountains. Heading to the hotel weโ€™ll be passing through the local towns and villages, observing local rural life, taking pictures of the stork nests on utility poles! After arriving in Kosiv, youโ€™ll have some free time to relax and freshen up. โ€˜Sokilskeโ€™ Hotel or similar http://sokilske.com.ua/en/ 1 Night Optional: In the evening you may take some SPA treatments, including relax in purifying sauna or massage; otherwise, you may go or a walk around the territory of the hotel surrounded with mountains!

      Day 6: Kosiv

      Today we will have prepared something absolutely unique โ€“ early in the morning we will once again travel to Kosiv to spend time at the big famous Kosiv Crafts Market. Once a week vendors and artisans from the area get together to buy and sell art supplies, embroidery, antique stuff, food and even animals! Even if you donโ€™t buy something (which is quite unlikely) โ€“ itโ€™s a real experience! Next stop, where youโ€™ll travel will be a village of Bukovets, located higher up in the mountains, which inhabitants keep preserving their ancestorsโ€™ traditions till nowadays! You will be cordially invited for lunch with a local Hutsul family! Learn traditional songs; try rich and absolutely natural home-made Hutsul food! Then meet with a local priest, whoโ€™ll open you the ancient wooden church and tell you more about its history.

  • Day 7 Day 7: Kosiv

      Day 7: Kosiv

      In the morning, weโ€™ll travel to the village of Yavoriv, famous for its craftsmen making their unique productsโ€“lizhnykyโ€“woolen blankets. Try out making someโ€“if not, do not hesitate to buyโ€“youโ€™ll definitely need one for cold winters! Later on, weโ€™ll drive higher up through the mountains we to the picturesque v village โ€“ a popular resting place and a source of inspiration for Ukrainian writers and historians, we will see wooden Hutsul church of 18thcentury and traditional house-fortress-Hutsul Grazhda. Upon return to Kosiv, we will visit a woodcarverโ€™s family, see their works, try to carve a traditional Hutsul Style cross for your necklace and have an opportunity to buy some souvenirs. Once we arrive in hotel, enjoy your evening relaxing in sauna or swimming pool.

  • Day 8 Day 8: Chernivtsi

      What could be better than to wake up in the morning in the Carpathians enjoying the picturesque views around? ๏Š After tasty breakfast, get ready to set off for other destinations planed for you! Hit the road again for the village of Tulova. Here the relatives are keen to welcome you into their village, to show you around, and their day-to-day lifeโ€“you will feel yourselves like part of this big family! Experience the famous Ukrainian hospitality at its best. Next stop in our route is โ€“ Chernivtsi. Upon arrival, weโ€™ll settle you in the centrally located hotel and conduct the city orientation, showing you the exchange places, ATMs, and good restaurants with delicious Bukovynian food.

      In the morning, after breakfast enjoy a leisurely walk around this beautiful, multicultural city having a city tour and learn its long history. Also enjoy a visit to the local University - the architectural ensemble of the main campus of the university, the Residence of Bukovynian and Dalmatian Metropolitans are included on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Have lunch then and take the rest till the evening doing some shopping, sitting in a quaint coffee shop or simply relaxing at the hotel! Later in the evening, a Zabava featuring a performance of incredibly talented and famous Folk Ensemble โ€˜Gerdanโ€™. Their arrangements of well-known and ancient Ukrainian songs amaze the audience of all ages!

  • Day 10 Day 10: Chernivtsi

      Day 10: Chernivtsi

      Today we are taking you on a time travel to the fortresses of Khotyn and Kamyanets-Podilskyi! Not literally, of course, but you will get to see how the local princes and rulers lived hundreds of years ago. The different types of people that lived in Khotyn and Kamyanets-Podilskyi each brought their own culture and architecture, meaning that this place is steeped in history and culture. Learn the cityโ€™s history on a tour through the ancient fortress, the cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul, the City Hall Building and numerous other fortifications.

  • Day 11 Day 11: Ternopil

      Day 11: Ternopil

      In the morning โ€“ transfer to Ternopil. Once we get to Ternopil โ€“ hotel check-in, then weโ€™ll point you to the restaurant for having lunch. Ternopil region is famous for its absolutely unique Borshchiv embroidery technique โ€“ dark colored floral patterns. To see some we offer you to visit the Museum of regional ethnography. The numerous collection of decorative and applied arts is the subject of the museumโ€™s pride. Despite of folk clothes and embroidery, the museum includes ceramics and textile, leather and wooden exhibits. Later that day spend free time at leisure.

  • Day 12 Day 12: Ternopil

      Day 12: Ternopil

      After breakfast in the hotel, take a walking tour around the old city center, visit artificial pond, local old castle that used to be a residence of Polish nobles and beautiful Dominican Cathedral. In the afternoon โ€“ enjoy free day at leisure or take an optional tour to a small town of Pochaiv, known for the Pochaiv Lavra โ€“ the second largest Eastern Orthodox monastery in Ukraine. A huge number of pilgrims and believers comes here annually to listen to the sermons, touch the miraculous icon of the Virgin Mary and plunge into the lake of St. Anna. Take advantage of the tour and feel the great power and energy of this place. (Tours must be arranged in advance.   • Day 13 Day 13: Lviv

      After breakfast, weโ€™ll go back to Lviv! Upon arrival โ€“ check-in and some time to freshen up before the tour to Lychakiv cemetery, a place where famous Ukrainian writers, politicians and public figures are buried. This evening, spend your spare time exploring the city โ€“ your tour guide will give the recommendations, where to do, and what to do. Trust us, you wonโ€™t struggle looking for things to do โ€“ from the numerous themed restaurants and coffee shops to countless sightseeing and shopping opportunities, you will keep yourselves busy! In the evening, enjoy one last Zabava! And its going to be a good one! If you have family in the area โ€“ weโ€™ll be more than happy to arrange a visit for you!
