Day 1: Santa Marta - Mamey - Camp 1

Transport will pick you up from your accommodation in Santa Marta between 7:00 and 9:00 in the morning to start your journey to the Colombian jungle. Once you have gathered the whole group, you will begin your 2.5-hour car trip to Mamey in a 4x4 off-road vehicle. Upon arrival, you will eat a meal to gather some strength for the beginning of your journey. In the next 4 hours, you will go on a trip through rivers and waterfalls where you will be able to swim, enjoy wildlife and amazing nature. Around 6:30 pm you will reach “Camp 1”, where you will have lunch and spend the night in hammocks or beds with mosquito nets.

Day 2: Camp 1 - Mutanzi - Rio Buritaca - Camp 3

On this day at dawn, the whole group will have breakfast and will start hiking early in the morning to avoid the hottest hours and comfortably get to the next place. The second-day trek lasts 7 hours through the picturesque Sierra Nevada jungle and the Buritaca Valley. Along the way, you’ll stop for lunch at “Camp 2” and pass the local village of Mutanzi, where you’ll have the chance to know the lifestyle of the Kogui community with whom you will spend some time and learn about their culture. The hike ends when you arrive at “Camp 3”, where you will eat dinner and spend the night in comfy camps.

Day 3: Camp 3 - Lost City - Camp 2

On the third day, we will offer you the most impressive path - a trip to the Lost City. After breakfast, the whole group will begin their journey to the village of Tayrona. Being in Lost City, the guide will take you on a trip around the area and explain the history and secrets of this magical place. At the end of the guided tour, you will have free time all morning to enjoy the surroundings and nice areas of this place. After this intense day, you and your group will return to Camp 2, where you will have dinner and spend the night.

Day 4: Camp 2 - Camp 1

After breakfast, you will start trekking to "Camp 1". After 4 hours of trekking you will have lunch with your group and you will be able to enjoy the natural swimming pools of the surroundings. After a fun afternoon in the Colombian jungle you will have dinner with the whole group and spend the last night in the camp.

Day 5: Camp 1 - Mamey - Santa Marta

Stop At: Santa Marta, Magdalena, Colombia
Camp 2 - Mamey - Santa Marta
This last day of the tour will be dedicated to returning to Santa Marta. After breakfast, you will make one last trek from "Camp 1" to Mamey, lasting 3 hours. There you will eat the whole group together and after the meal you will be picked up by a 4x4 to make a journey of about 3 hours to Santa Marta. Once arrived you will say goodbye to the guide and adventure companions, ending this experience in the incredible Colombian jungle.
