  • Day 1 Longyearbyen
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Longyearbyen

      Our photo tour departs from Longyearbyen, which is easily accessible via daily flights from Oslo in Norway. Late in the afternoon we will wave goodbye to civilization for the next 10  days and set sail to the north east of Svalbard. As we leave the Isfjord, we will spend some time out on deck and hopefully spot some whales which are very active this time of year.

  • Day 2 Prins Karls Foreland

      Prins Karls Foreland

      During our expedition we will do lots of zodiac cruises and shore landings to provide different photography opportunities. Our first stop will be Prins Karls Foreland which is known for its walrus haulouts. If the conditions allow we will do a shore landing to get close to the walruses. As we continue our journey we will visit some of Svalbardโ€™s glaciers whilst our guides always keep a look out for polar bears that roam the coast. A highlight of our autumn expeditions is the magical golden light which is ideal for wildlife & landscape photographers.

  • Day 3 Exploring North East Svalbard

      Exploring North East Svalbard

      On day 3 we plan to cruise around the north west coast to reach the east of Svalbard in the afternoon.

      Exploring North East Svalbard

      A highlight of our autumn expeditions is the magical golden light which is ideal for wildlife & landscape photographers. Long sunrises and sunsets will give you great photography opportunities and unhurried time to capture Svalbardยดs stunning landscapes and glaciers.

  • Day 5 Exploring North East Svalbard

      Exploring North East Svalbard

      On day 5 we will continue to explore the wild nature of Svalbard. As we sail along the north east coast we will be on the lookout for wildlife at all times, because the area is known for its good chances to see polar bears.

  • Day 6 North East Svalbard And Austfonna

      North East Svalbard And Austfonna

      Day 6 will be the most exciting day where we plan to visit the melt water waterfalls of the Austfonna Ice Cap.

  • Day 7 North East Svalbard And Austfonna

      Alongside spending time witnessing and photographing this amazing natural spectacle we will be on the lookout for wildlife which will include walruses or polar bears that frequent the area.

  • Day 8 North East Svalbard And Austfonna

      North East Svalbard And Austfonna

      On day 8 we will continue our journey and head back south. Our plan is to do more zodiac cruises and spend some time exploring ashore in less visited places.

  • Day 9 Longyearbyen

      Longyearbyen

      After sharing a wonderful adventure together we will say our goodbyes and end our expedition in Longyearbyen. We will either arrive late the previous evening or early in the morning.

      The itinerary is a guide only. As on every expedition we need to adapt to the weather and ice conditions. Our expedition leader will make sure you see as much a possible.
