THAMES VALLEY AND WINDSOR TOWN (5hrs)(35 EUR) One of the most impressive and best preserved castles in the United Kingdom, the favorite residence of the late Elizabeth II, Queen of England. Following the Thames Valley, we will leave London behind crossing the countryside until arriving in the historic town of Windsor whose architecture is immersed in the atmosphere of the Tudor, Georgian and Victorian styles. We will be able to see the access to the famous Eton school, founded in 1440 for poor children and today one of the most exclusive and traditional schools in the country, where the princes of England have studied. We will visit the castle from the outside. It has always been the residence of the English Crown and it is intimately connected with the history of this country. On days when Her Majesty holds official receptions, some areas are closed to the public. -Transportation to Windsor via the River Thames. - Assistance of our guide.. 15 number of people required. SAINT PATRICKยดS CATHEDRAL AND DUBLIN ON FOOT (2hrs 30 min)(35 EUR) In this optional activity we will visit Saint Patrickยดs Cathedral, founded in the 12th century, the largest Anglican in Ireland, a wonderful Irish oak choir, stained glass windows that tell the story of Saint Patrick, the countryยดs patron saint. Later we will visit the Chester Beatty Library with its magnificent collections of medieval books and one of the best collections of the Koran, Ming dynasty drawings and Egyptian ceramics. In this exhibition we will see texts, manuscripts, miniature painting and ancient art from the great Eastern and Western religions. We will continue our walk through Arcade Marquet George Street, a wonderful market in Victorian style where today different types of products, antiques, paintings, clothes, etc. are sold. We will visit Powerscourt Town House center, house of the capital of the Wingfield family, representing the Georgian style of the time. Today it works as a shopping gallery for antiques. We will also pass through Wicklow Street, a picturesque street where you will see different shops, restaurants and cafes. Continuation to Temple Bar where you can admire the wall of fame of the main rock bands and musicians who have left this country.       Welcome to your tour with Europamundo! Weโ€™ll transfer you to the hotel and youโ€™ll have some free time. In the afternoon, youโ€™ll find information about the start of your tour on the boards located at the hotel reception.

      In the morning, weโ€™ll go on a city tour of London, visiting Westminster, the Parliament, the City, and the Thames. In the afternoon, youโ€™ll have free time, during which weโ€™ll offer an optional visit to the Thames Valley, including the town of Windsor, crowned by the stunning Windsor Castle. In the evening, weโ€™ll meet at Piccadilly for a walk through Leicester Square, Chinatown, and Soho, known for its vibrant atmosphere, theaters, and entertainment (in some cases, this evening program might be organized for the previous day, upon arrival in London). Afterward, weโ€™ll return to the hotel by bus.

      Weโ€™ll start the day by leaving London and heading towards northern England. Our first stop will be Cambridge, where weโ€™ll admire the beautiful colleges. After lunch, weโ€™ll continue to York, where the stunning cathedral, Roman walls, and lively shopping streets will leave a lasting impression. Youโ€™ll have some free time to explore. Afterwards, weโ€™ll proceed north to Durham, a vibrant medieval town featuring a magnificent cathedral in front of the castle.

      Weโ€™ll travel to Scotland, with a stop in Alnwick, a picturesque town known for its beautiful gardens and large medieval castle, famously featured in the Harry Potter films. As Scotlandโ€™s capital and one of the most vibrant cities in Northern Europe, Edinburghโ€™s monumental center has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The castle overlooks the cityโ€™s steep streets and parks. Weโ€™ll enjoy a panoramic tour with a local guide.

      Today, we have an exciting journey through the Scottish Highlands ahead of us, starting with a coffee and a stroll in Pitlochry, a charming village. Next, weโ€™ll pass through Inverness in northern Scotland, near the mysterious Loch Ness. Weโ€™ll embark on a boat trip on its dark waters and visit Urquhart Castle (admission included). Next, weโ€™ll pass through Fort Augustus with its sluice system and Fort William, a tourist center at the foot of Ben Nevis, the highest summit in the United Kingdom. Heading south, weโ€™ll travel through the high plateaus, where snow is often visible, and skirt the picturesque shores of Loch Lomond. Weโ€™ll arrive in Glasgow at the end of the day to take a short stroll around the city center and settle into our accommodation.IMPORTANT NOTE: Groups arriving in Edinburgh from the 15th of November until the end of February will follow this adjusted itinerary due to the shorter days and frequent snow on the roads:Weโ€™ll depart from Edinburgh to Pitlochry, a picturesque town in the heart of Scotland known for its whiskey production. Weโ€™ll visit a traditional whiskey distillery (admission included). Our journey will continue to Stirling, renowned for its impressive historic center and grand castle, which has witnessed significant historical events, including battles and royal coronations (tickets included). Youโ€™ll have time for lunch. Afterward, weโ€™ll stop to photograph The Kelpies, enormous sculptures of two horse heads inspired by Scottish mythology. Finally, weโ€™ll continue to Glasgow, where youโ€™ll have time to stroll through the city center before settling into your accommodation.

      Today weโ€™ll leave Glasgow and head towards southern Scotland to board a ferry in Cairnryan. Our journey will take us to Northern Ireland, arriving in Belfast, the capital of Northern Ireland, a monumental city that is emerging from its historical religious conflicts. Weโ€™ll then continue into Eire, Ireland, with our final stop in Dublin, arriving by the end of the day.

      Weโ€™ll start the day with a panoramic tour of Dublin, the peaceful capital of Ireland. Weโ€™ll stroll along the banks of the River Liffey, visiting its parks, historic university, and vibrant downtown streets. We will see the exterior of Trinity College. The afternoon will be free for you to explore at your leisure.Note: Occasionally, depending on our arrival time in Dublin and the daylight hours, the tour may take place the previous afternoon.

      We will depart from Dublin and head to Powerscourt, located nearby. We will visit the magnificent Powerscourt Gardens, designed in the 18th century and considered the most beautiful in Ireland (admission included). Admire its fountains, Japanese Gardens, and pet cemetery. Afterwards, weโ€™ll travel to Kilkenny, where there will be time for lunch and to stroll around this lively town. Further south, we will stop to visit the impressive Rock of Cashel (admission included), a medieval fortress symbolizing the Irish struggle against England. We will arrive in Cork in the evening, with time for a stroll in the center of Irelandโ€™s second-largest city. Dinner will be included.

      We will depart for Kinsale, stopping at Charles Fort to admire the stunning ocean views beside this 17th-century fortress. Youยดll have time to explore the historic center of Kinsale, a seaside town considered one of the most beautiful coastal towns in Ireland. Afterwards, weยดll travel to Killarney, a popular tourist town in the heart of Ireland. Youยดll have time for lunch and a stroll around town. Afterwards, youยดll enjoy a romantic Jaunting Car Tour through the National Park (included), taking you through gardens and along the lake to Ross Castle with its beautiful lakeside views. Weโ€™ll also include a short cruise to enjoy the scenic surroundings of the lake. Next, weโ€™ll make a brief stop in Adare, a charming village that still preserves its stone and thatched-roof cottages and the ruins of an old abbey. By mid-afternoon, we will arrive in Limerick. Youยดll have time to explore the city center, visit the castle, walk along the river, explore the cathedral, or check out the shopping center. Dinner will be included.

      Today we will visit Folk Park in Bunratty (tickets included), a wonderful park where weโ€™ll learn about life in Ireland in the past, with its traditional cottages and old markets. The park also features a castle that accurately represents what life was like in the Middle Ages. We will then continue to Caherconnell, where the Poulnabrone Dolmen is located. Here, we might be lucky enough to see some dogs herding sheep. Afterwards, we will visit the impressive Cliffs of Moher, which overlook the ocean (admission included). Those who wish can walk to Oโ€™Brienโ€™s Tower. Our route will continue through Burren National Park, showcasing stunning landscapes. Finally, weโ€™ll arrive in Galway.

      We will depart for Cong, a picturesque village in a beautiful lake area. Next, we will travel to Clonmacnoise, where, after lunch, we will visit the Celtic monastic ruins (tickets with guided tour included). We will then continue our journey to Dublin, arriving in the evening.
