Accommodation

All our packages include accommodation and you can choose between hotel or hostel accommodation. We work with trusted accommodation partners across Europe and all partners are centrally located. All hotel accommodation will be either 3* & 4* and we work with a great mix of boutique hotels and hotel groups. Hostel accommodation is with our handpicked partners, as well as some well-known chains throughout Europe such as Generator & St Christopherโ€™s.

Transport

Interrail/Eurail* Pass : We provide you with an Interrail/Eurail* pass to cover all your rail journeys between each city throughout your trip. Your Interrail Pass is used along with any compulsory seat reservations required for your trip. Compulsory Reservations: We include all compulsory seat reservations required during your trip. This means no pre-booking or making arrangements before you go. Simply use your Interrail Pass alongside the reservation we provide you with. Your reservations will be added to your app for ease of access. Important Travel from your departing city is not included so you will need to book flights to the first city and home from the last city for this package. *Interrail pass is for residents of Europe and some border countries, Eurail pass is for everyone else.

Our Essential Europe package takes you to the city in Europe that some call an open-air museum, and to be honest, itโ€™s easy to understand why. The city centre is a UNESCO cultural heritage, masterpieces can be found all around town and a vibrant atmosphere exists 24/7! Feast your eyes on the beauty that surrounds you in this Belgian city. Simply wander in one of the many winding, small streets and go where your feet take you. We recommend that you visit the Magdalena Church, itโ€™s not your average house of God, but it has to be at the top of your list!

      Berlin is a city often compared to New York, as it never sleeps! The locals here are known as the lotus-eaters of Germany as they love nothing more than a good time. Itโ€™s safe to say that Berlin is a city loved by those on an interrail adventure through Europe.

      Using your app, you should tick off some of the recommendations on our city guide.  Berlin has an immense amount of history waiting to be discovered.  Berlin staged a revolution, was headquartered by Nazis, bombed to bits, divided in two and then finally reunited.  Our top 2 favourite tours are the poignant Jewish Memorial and the largest open-air art gallery in the world, the East Side Gallery.  Take a walk to discover the best landmarks Berlin has to offer, such as the Brandenburg Gate, Berliner Dom and Fersehturm.

      Itโ€™s no secret that Prague is one of Europeโ€™s most magical, affordable and beautiful cities, a perfect addition to any interrail route. The โ€™City of a Thousand Spiresโ€™ is an architectural gem, the city has been an important UNESCO World Heritage Site which attracts more and more tourists every year! The narrow streets open up onto fantastic squares which host to medieval-looking homes and historical buildings for you to explore! Start in the centre of the Old Town, home to the major sights and has been the cityโ€™s main marketplace for a millennium.

      A trip to Prague would not be complete without taking a walk along the iconic Charles Bridge, one of Pragueโ€™s most popular tourist attractions.  It can be quite busy during the day, why not visit early morning or late in the evening to have the bridge all to yourself?  The John Lennon Wall, which since the 1980s, has been filled with John Lennon inspired graffiti and Beatles song lyrics, as well as other designs relating to local and global causes.  Check out your city guide and discounted sight-seeing tours for other things to do while youโ€™re here.

      This town is amazing and should not be missed when youโ€™re in the Czech Republic.  Cesky Krumlov is a UNESCO World Heritage Site; it escaped the bombings in World War II, which is the reason why the old city is so well preserved.  You can explore this wonderful city on foot, and it is compact and very photogenic.  Our city guide found on your app will help to ensure you make the most of your short stay here.

Vienna holds a considerable reputation for being the music capital of the world, with the likes of Mozart calling this place home. Coffeehouses have been an essential part of the cityโ€™s cultural fabric since 1685. They make for great places to gather for a coffee, gossip and to eat Sacher Torte.

      Want to see as much of Vienna as possible? Check out our city guide on your app and choose as many things as you possibly can.  We recommend Schรถnbrunn Palace to start your day, look inside to see how Austrian royalty lived.  You can also visit the beautiful Schรถnbrunn Gardens while youโ€™re here.  Vienna is filled with beautiful architecture such as St Stephenโ€™s Cathedral, Rathaus and the Vienna Natural History Museum. End your trip here by going to the Prater Amusement Park.  If you arenโ€™t afraid of heights, get on the Ferris wheel to get a better look at beautiful Vienna.

This city built on water is famous for the beautiful gondola rides which take you back in time and allow you to appreciate the rich beauty of this city, an experience on this rail tour of Europe that you will never forget!

      Well, where do we start?  You have so much to see and do all in the one day.  Use your app to book your tours for the Colosseum and Sistine Chapel.  Once you have completed those tours, itโ€™s time to take a walk and explore Rome by foot.  You cannot miss visiting the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona and the Spanish Steps.

      La Spezia is an important port city on the western coast of Italy, which is not far from Florence, Genoa, and Pisa.  This city is also a major military hub, where most of the Italian Navy is based.  La Spezia has a great combination of historical buildings, beautiful scenery and fantastic surroundings.  While your stay is only a short one, you might want to consider a day trip to Cinque Terre, a world-renowned stretch of coast with some of the most gorgeous villages that hug the coastline and cliffs.

      Relax and recharge on your overnight train journey to Paris. Board your early morning train and make your way to Paris late afternoon.  We highly recommend grabbing a spot on the Champ de Mars, where locals and tourists gather to watch the Eiffel Tower light show- a great way to capture the moment in Paris.

      Whatโ€™s a trip to Europe without visiting the iconic City of Love, Paris?  Perhaps more so than any of the other European cities, Paris is synonymous with a wealth of world-famous features from landmarks, cathedrals, museums, to the Louvre museum and Eiffel Tower. We recommend spending your day visiting as many of those iconic landmarks as possible.  Paris has a very strong cafรฉ culture, which makes it the perfect place to do people watching while eating a pan au chocolat and sipping over a coffee.

      Board your train from Paris Gare Du Nord and begin your return travels back to London St Pancras. Train options will range from mid morning to late afternoon so if you have particular preferences (perhaps to suit a connecting flight) please let as know as soon as possible so we can book a suitable option for you if we can.
