Itinerary

Day 1: Amman

Stop At: Al Balad – Downtown Amman, Amman Jordan
Pick up at the airport and drive (40 min drive) to your hotel in Amman for free time or an overnight depending on arrival time.
Duration: 5 hours

Day 2: Amman - Amman City Tour - Jerash - Amman

Stop At: The Citadel, K. Ali Ben Al-Hussein St. 146, Amman Jordan
Breakfast at your hotel.

Start the day with the city tour of Amman to include the Citadel and it's Archaeological Museum and the Roman Theatre.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Jerash Ruins, Jerash Jordan
Drive to the north (1 hour drive) to explore the stunning ruins of the Roman site of Jerash (one of the most well preserved Roman cities outside Rome).

Here you will have a 2 hour private guided tour.

Drive back to Amman for an overnight.
Duration: 3 hours

Day 3: Amman - Mt. Nebo - Madaba - Shobak - Petra

Stop At: Mount Nebo, Madaba Jordan
Breakfast at your hotel

Drive to Petra via the King’s way starting at Mount Nebo (1 hour drive) to see the mosaics and the view. It is where Moses looked at the Holy Land.
Duration: 40 minutes

Stop At: Madaba Mosaic Map, Inside St. George's Church, Madaba Jordan
Then drive to Madaba (15 minute drive) to see St George's Church to see it's unique mosaic map.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Montreal Crusader Castle, Shoubak Main Street, Shoubak 71910 Jordan
Continue to Shobak (2 1/2 hour drive) to visit the medieval Crusader fort.

Then head to Petra (30 minute drive) for an overnight.
Duration: 30 minutes

Day 4: Petra

Stop At: Petra - Wadi Musa 77110 Jordan
After breakfast visit the Rose Red city of Petra with your private tour guide for a 2 ½ hours guided tour.

Walk through the 1200m (2/3 mile) Siq to see the Treasury, the Street of Facades, passed the Theatre and down the Roman Street and have a panoramic view of the Royal Tombs before finishing the tour.

There will be time to visit more of the site on your own (maybe the Monastery which is around 900 steps) then walk back to the hotel for an overnight.

Day 5: Petra - Little Petra - Wadi Rum

Stop At: Little Petra, North of Petra, Petra - Wadi Musa Jordan
Breakfast at your hotel.

Visit to Little Petra, "Siq al Barid", an ancient caravanserai entirely excavated in stone (15 min drive).
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Wadi Rum Protected Area, Wadi Rum Jordan
Drive south (2 hour drive) for a private 3 hour jeep tour in Wadi Rum, also known as The Valley of the Moon. Wadi Rum is a valley cut into the sandstone and granite rock in south Jordan.

Dinner and overnight at a fixed Bedouin campsite, the right place to admire the stunning sky of Wadi Rum.
Duration: 8 hours

Day 6: Wadi Rum - Aqaba

Stop At: Aqaba Castle, next to the Aqaba Flagpole, Aqaba Jordan
After breakfast at the campsite drive to Aqaba (1 hour drive) for a free day and maybe time to swim or snorkel and overnight at your Aqaba hotel.
Duration: 20 hours

Day 7: Aqaba - Dead Sea

Stop At: Dead Sea, Madaba Jordan
After breakfast you will take 4 hour drive through the scenic Wadi Araba to the Dead Sea for time to relax and float and overnight at your Dead Sea Resort.

Day 8: Dead Sea - Amman
