Itinerary

Day 1: Aqaba - Wadi Rum

Stop At: Wadi Rum Protected Area, Wadi Rum Jordan
Your driver will pick you up from your Aqaba hotel and drive to Wadi Rum (1 hour drive) for a 3 hour jeep tour in Wadi Rum.
Also known as The Valley of the Moon, Wadi Rum is a valley cut into the sandstone and granite rock in south Jordan.
Dinner and overnight at a fixed desert campsite, the right place to admire the stunning sky of Wadi Rum

Duration: 12 hours

Day 2: Wadi Rum - Petra

Stop At: Petra - Wadi Musa 77110 Jordan
Breakfast at the campsite.
Drive to Petra (2 hour drive) for a private guided tour.
Your guide will take you on a 2 ½ hour tour in Petra. Walk through the 1200m (2/3 mile) Siq to see the Treasury, the Street of Facades, passed the Theatre and have a panoramic view of the Royal Tombs before heading down the Roman Street and finishing the tour. After which the rest of the day is yours to explore more of the city - maybe The Monastery "Ad Deir" (900 steps) or the Place of High Sacrifice.
Walk back to your Petra hotel for an overnight.

Day 3: Petra - Madaba - Mt.Nebo - Amman City Tour - Amman

Stop At: Madaba Mosaic Map, Inside St. George's Church, Madaba Jordan
Breakfast at your hotel.
Drive, (2 hour drive), to Madaba, the ‘City of Mosaics’ and see the unique mosaic map of the Holy Land in St. Georges Church.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Mount Nebo, Madaba Jordan
Continue on to Mt.Nebo (15 minute drive) to visit the Sanctuary of Moses and see the views over the Holy Land.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Temple of Hercules, Museum Street,, Amman Jordan
Then have a city tour of Amman, including a visit to the Citadel and its Archaeological Museum, the Roman theatre, souks and modern city.
Then overnight in an Amman Hotel.
Duration: 2 hours

Day 4: Amman - Jerash - Bethany - Dead Sea

Stop At: Jerash Ruins, Jerash Jordan
Breakfast at your hotel.
Drive north to visit Jerash (1 hour drive), the largest and most well-preserved sites of Roman architecture in the world outside Italy for a 2 hour private guided tour.
To this day, its colonnaded streets, baths, theatres, plazas and arches remain in exceptional condition.

Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Bethany Jordan River Baptism Site of Jesus, Qasr el Yahud, Al Jubaihah Jordan
Continue on to Bethany-beyond-the-Jordan (1 hour drive).
It is the site of the settlement of John the Baptist where Jesus was baptised. A newly designated UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Finally to the Dead Sea (15 minute drive), the lowest place on earth, for an overnight at one of the Dead Sea Resorts.

Day 5: Dead Sea - Aqaba
