Day 1: Oh Canada: Welcome To The Land Of Maple

Within a few hours, your plane will take you to the other side of the world and then itโ€™s finally time to experience the feeling of freedom that is hidden in every corner of Canada! Pick up your rental car at the airport and leave the city to get closer to your first highlight: the Niagara Falls! The border between the USA and Canada runs through the horseshoe-shaped Horseshoe Falls. Many viewpoints are strung around the masses of water like pearls on a string and offer different perspectives - which is your favorite? End the evening in the town of the same name, where there is plenty to see: A kind of amusement park with a Ferris wheel, ghost train and co. and countless restaurants surround the celebrity and keep you awake even longer today. Donโ€™t worry if you havenโ€™t seen every corner of Niagara Falls today, because youโ€™ll have plenty more time tomorrow!

Did you know that you have a view of the chocolate side of Niagara Falls from Canada? Time to make this view even better: Descend into the old tunnels that have carved their way through the rock while you feel the thunderous vibration of the falls in your body - donโ€™t forget your rain poncho! Once you reach the bottom, put your head back and admire the rushing water as it plunges into the depths. Wow! Donโ€™t want to take your eyes off the biggest must-see on your bucket list afterwards? Then reserve a seat in the Skylon Tower (optional, payable on site) and dine against a breathtaking backdrop. The typical Canadian food will taste even better!

Depending on your fitness level and mood, you can choose between 15 signposted routes. The two-kilometre-long Lookout Trail is a good place to start. Day 9: Lovely County: Between Mountain Lakes, Sand Dunes &Amp; Shining Blue

Why Prince Edward County is one of the most popular travel destinations in Ontario? Find out today! Your first destination is the "Lake on the Mountain", a lake in the middle of a mountain with no recognizable source. Sounds strange, doesnโ€™t it? No wonder the indigenous people of Ontario, the Mohawks, also call the lake O-no-ke-no-ga, the lake of the gods. You can look out over the crystal-clear water to the Bay of Quinte. Unique! The shifting sand dunes in Sandbanks Provincial Park are just as special. Walk in amazement through the soft sand to the shores of the bright blue Lake Ontario. Is this the perfect place for your beach relaxation or will you wait until you reach the Little Bluff? From the limestone cliffs you have a breathtaking view of Prince Edward Bay. Have you been completely enchanted by the country style of the place? Then all you need at the end of the day is a beer or a glass of wine in one of the many regional restaurants. With a view of the golden-green landscape of rolling hills and sparkling blue, your evening will turn into a real jam jar moment.

Heard about the Thousand Islands and donโ€™t want to miss out? Perfect, on a boat tour you can mingle with the more than a thousand small islands and feel the unique magic of the place (bookable in advance). Get your camera ready - this landscape is too beautiful not to capture!

We think this is great and support them on behalf of all Journaway travelers.
