      Today you will take a boat trip to the Ballestas Islands, also known as "Little Galรกpagos". Here you can observe sea lions, pelicans and cormorants - perhaps even the rare Humboldt penguins. You then stop at the "Candelabro", a gigantic ground drawing similar to the Nazca lines. In Ica, you will explore the Huacachina Oasis and taste pisco in a local bodega. 1 night in Nazca. (F)

      Day 4: Nazca - Arequipa

      A sightseeing flight in the morning offers you a better perspective to recognize the Nazca floor drawings (optional, bookable on site, costs approx. 115โ‚ฌ, depending on the weather). Afterwards, you will travel through beautiful landscapes in a private transfer. You will make many stops before reaching Arequipa in the evening. Spend 2 nights there. (F)

      During a city tour, you will explore the historic center of Arequipa (UNESCO World Heritage Site), starting with the well-kept Plaza de Armas and ending with the extensive monastery complex of Santa Catalina. At the traditional San Camilo market you will get to know various regional medicinal plants as well as typical local products. Afterwards you will visit a social project, e.g. a school or an orphanage. The afternoon is at your free disposal. (F)

      By domestic flight you will reach Cuzco (3,400 m) in the morning and continue to the Sacred Valley. On the way you will visit the colorful Indian market in Pisac and explore the ruins of the same name. Your destination today is Ollantaytambo. In the original village, surrounded by steeply rising mountains, you will wander through the alleys and climb the rock fortress. 1 night there. (F)

      You will visit the salt mines of Maras and the agricultural Inca terraces of Moray. In the afternoon you will take the panoramic train to Aguas Calientes at the foot of Machu Picchu. 1 night there. (F)

      An absolute highlight of your trip awaits you! You get up early to be among the first visitors to the Inca city of Machu Picchu. Enjoy the mystical atmosphere at dawn and the breathtaking view of the imposing mountain landscape. If you wish, you can also climb Huayna Picchu today (optional, โ‚ฌ 95 p.p., limited offer, fitness and a head for heights required, please book when registering). Then drive to Cuzco. 2 nights there.       The former capital of the Inca Empire (UNESCO World Heritage Site) is best explored on foot.       Experience the sunrise on Isla del Sol! There will be some time to enjoy the special atmosphere of the island and the nature and its tradition-conscious inhabitants before you cross back to Copacabana. Continue your journey to La Paz. The rest of the day is yours. 2 nights in La Paz. (F)

      Today you will explore the Andean metropolis of La Paz, located at an altitude of up to 4,100 m, on a tour and stroll through the famous witchesโ€™ market. Immerse yourself in a magical world of medicinal herbs, tinctures and obscurities that are supposed to drive away evil spirits or bring good luck. How about a visit to the moon? In the famous "Valle de la Luna" (Moon Valley), bizarre stone formations provide the appropriate atmosphere. (F)

      By domestic flight to Uyuni. From there, drive to your accommodation and visit the railroad cemetery. Afterwards you will go on an exciting expedition through the largest salt desert on earth. Brightly shining salt as far as the eye can see! On an island that seems to float in the white nothingness you will have your lunch break between meter high cacti.
