Hygieneprotocol

The group can have a maximum total of 9 people: 1 of which will be the tour guide, leaving room for 8 passengers. Bear in mind this number may vary depending on maximum capacity established in each touristic site. Transfer personnel will, always wear a safety mask that possesses all hygiene characteristics recommended by the WHO. Wash and disinfect hands with hand sanitizer. When starting the service, guide must take the temperature of the passengers with the digital thermometer that will be in the vehicle. (The information will be registered) Respect the 1-meter physical distance measure. Tourist also wears safety masks that are aligned to health standars recommended by the WHO. The tourist will be responsible for moving his or her luggage to the vehicle. Inside the unit, transfer personnel shall use surgical latex gloves to manipulate the vehiclesโ€™ microphone, which must have been previously disinfected by the person in charge of the unit. After using the microphone, and once arrived at the destination, gloves shall be disposed into a collecting bin placed inside the vehicle.

      A visit to the modern and colonial parts of the city of Lima the "City of Kings", starting in the districts of Miraflores and San Isidro. The road passes a Huaca or sacred pre-Inca site. There will then be a stop at Parque del Amor (Lovers Park) in Miraflores for its magnificent view over the Pacific Ocean. The tour also includes the Historic Centre based on the Main Square, where the Presidential Palace, the Archbishopยดs Palace, the Municipality of Lima and the Cathedral are located, as well as a visit to one of the largest colonial-era convents.

      TRANSFER TO THE SACRED VALLEY

      Upon arrival in Cusco one of our representatives will meet you and then you will be transferred to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. The Sacred Valley allows better acclimatization due to its lower altitude compared to Cusco city. Have the rest of the day at leisure to rest and get used to the altitude.

      F/D AUTHENTIC SACRED VALLEY

      You will head to Chinchero to visit the PARWA Center, where you can appreciate beautiful textiles and even buy some to take home. After, visit the Chinchero church, which was built by the Spanish in 1607 and remains standing until today. Continue with a visit to the ruins of Chinchero, where you will find an important Inca center in which terraces and aqueducts were built. Then, you will stop at the Racchi Viewpoint, from where you will have a panoramic view of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Afterwards, you will head towards the town of Ollantaytambo, where you will find the imposing Inca fortress that bears the same name. This place is of great historical importance, because it is where Manco Inca defeated the Spanish forces in 1538. Then, you will descend to the town of Ollantaytambo which stands out for still maintaining the Inca urban planning as part of his original urban layout, with some buildings and narrow stone alleys. You can tour the town and visit the local market.


      At proper time you will board the train from Ollantaytambo to Machu Picchu.

      SACRED CITY OF MACHU PICCHU

      You are going to visit one of the most important energy centers of the world: Machu Picchu. You will be driven to the archeological site, the visit of which will be an unforgettable experience, with a professional tour guide to impart to you all the history that surrounds this mysterious and enchanting place. Once the guided tour is over, you will have some free time to explore the site on your own, to relax, or to meditate. At the agreed upon hour, you will descend to Aguas Calientes for lunch and board the train later that afternoon for the return trip. Once you have arrived at either the Ollantaytambo or Poroy Station, you will be driven to your hotel.

      Enjoy the charm of this beautiful colonial city that was built upon the remains of amazing Inca buildings. Not to miss: Temple of the Sun (Koricancha), San Blas artisanโ€™s neighborhood, the Cathedral and the Inca Fortress of Sacsayhuaman.

      You will visit the city of Cusco, known as the Imperial City and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Here you will start your tour at the iconic San Pedro market, a local market where you can explore the colors, flavors and traditions of modern Cusco. The visit continues with the Koricancha Temple, an ancient Inca palace and cult center of the Sun God, above which the order of the Dominicans built a church, which remains standing to this day. You will continue ascending to the Fortress of Sacsayhuaman, an impressive example of Inca military architecture. Afterwards, you will explore Qโ€™enqo archeological site, where important Inca ceremonies took place.  Finally, you will arrive to the Plaza de Armas (main square), where you will visit the Cathedral, the most important temple in the city.

      At the scheduled time, you will be picked up from the hotel and transferred to the bus station to take the departure from Cusco to Puno.

      Leave the station at the start of a bus journey to Puno; en route enjoy the magnificent scenery of the southern valley of Cusco. First stop is Andahuaylillas, which has a beautiful 17th Century church containing an impressive organ decorated with angels and cherubs. After that, the ruins at Racchi -also known as the "Temple of Wiracochaโ€- the different zones of which were used for different purposes. After this visit, you will enjoy a typical and delicious buffet lunch at a local restaurant. Then you will visit the archaeological site of Puca-Pucara, basically a military camp that also functioned as an administrative center. Finally, you will arrive at the bus station in Puno.

      Trip by private transport from Puno with a wonderful view of Lake Titikaka along the route (3 hours) until Copacabana (3 ยฝ hours), a pleasant town in the shores of Lake. Visit to its church and the famous "Virgen Morena". Trip by boat crossing the Lake to the Island of the Sun (1 hour) until Huacani to have an Aptapi (typical lunch in the highlands), this trip continues by boat up till to the ruins of Pilkokaina Inca temple Finally hike to La Estancia with a wonderful view of Lake Titicaca (1 hour approximately).

      CITY TOUR AND VALLEY OF THE MOON (HALF DAY) (SIB)

      A 4 hours city tour through La Paz, elected as one of the 7 wonder cities in the world, located in a valley at the foothills of the Andes Range, situated at 3,632m / 11942 ft. above sea level. The tour goes through the street markets rich in handicrafts, weavings and witchcraft items, followed by a visit to the colonial section of the city, San Francisco Church, Gold Museum, Murillo Square also visit to the viewpoint "Mirador de Killi Killi"; and the outdoor replica of Tiwanaku temple. Then descending to the more modern, southern part of La Paz to reach and visit the Valley of the Moon, where a clay mountain has been impressively shaped by erosion. Ride by cable car โ€œTelefรฉricoโ€, itโ€™s an excellent choice to discover an excellent and beautiful view of La Paz. This is a must for every one!

Hop on, on one of the many telefericos (cable cars) lines this vibrant city has, the Red Line, and get off where the walking tour starts, the main cemetery. After a short visit, continue walking to โ€œFish Street Marketโ€, the โ€œFlower Marketโ€ and the โ€œUruguay Marketโ€ where various species of animals and food can be seen. Enter this perfect natural highway to cross it to โ€œIsla Incahuasiโ€ (2 hours), a special habitat of volcanic rocks and giant cactus, Continue north to visit the pre-Columbian Aique Pucara fort and the nearby chullpares on the foothills of Thunupa volcano, then trip back to Colchani (2 hours), enjoy a beautiful sunset.

      Trip south visiting first the cemetery of old trains, then through the highlands, passing the villages of San Cristobal, Culpina K until the high and rich valley of Alota (3 hours), then areas with great stone formations done by the erosion.       Santiago is a cosmopolitan city that blends the oldness with modernity. We will show you the origins of our city and landmarks such as Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, the Post Office and the Municipality of Santiago. The tour will continue by the Government Palace and we will have the chance to walk through some of the most traditional streets and neighborhoods. Later we will go towards the east, where weโ€™ll see modern buildings and how they have transformed the city.

      Departing from downtown Santiago you head toward the coast, located just 120 kilometers / 75 miles from Santiago, crossing the fertile Curacavรญ and Casablanca Valleys, with their beautiful vineyards, fruit tree farms, and forest reserves. En route you will visit two major cities of the country: Viรฑa del Mar, Chileโ€™s main seaside town and Valparaรญso, a port city founded in the sixteenth century and declared as "World Heritage Site by UNESCO."  The tour also includes a scenic tour through National Congress, Parque Oโ€™Higgins, Parque Italia, Plaza de la Victoria, Plaza Sotomayor and "Muelle Prat Wharf located at the port itself in Valparaiso. Then visit the Museum of the famous Chilean poet, writer and Nobel Prize Literature winner (1971) Pablo Neruda La Sebastiana House-Museum. La Sebastiana was a fantasy place by Pablo Neruda wanted to run to and away from the hectic and busy pace of Santiago. โ€œI feel the tiredness of Santiago. I want to find in Valparaiso a little house to live and write quietly. It must have some conditionsโ€ฆโ€ This was how Pablo Neruda put it in 1959 to his friends Sara Vial and Marie Martner. The house became a reality and now houses a collections of old maps, seascapes and other paintings. There are many other relics from the port and other curios such as music boxes and an old horse carved in wood. 

      You will visit the elevators โ€“ cable cars that take you to the peaks around Valparaiso with amazing look outs โ€“ miradores โ€“ offering views of the city. Cerro Alegre-Cerro Conception, Sotomayor Square, Naval Heroes Monument, and Paseo 21 de Mayo at Cerro Playa Ancha are just a few sites you will see. 

      Viรฑa del Mar, also known as "the Garden City", has 300,000 inhabitants and is the countryโ€™s main beach resort. Located next to the Port of Valparaiso, it has a good selection of restaurants, a casino, cafes and discotheques and shops.

      Our journey will depart from Santiago to the coast located 120 kilometers from Santiago, passing through the fertile valleys "Curacavรญ and Casablanca", its vineyards, fruit plantations and forest reserves. During the route, you will visit "Valparaรญso", a port city founded in the 16th century and declared a "World Heritage Site by UNESCO".

      The tour includes a panoramic tour of the emblematic places of Valparaรญso, such as "National Congress", "Park Oโ€™Higgins", "Park Italy", "Victoria Square", "Plaza Sotomayor" and pier "Prat" located in the same Port .

      Then, you will walk through the wonderful viewpoints "Atkinson" and "Gervasoni" located in the most important hills of Valparaรญso, "Cerro Alegre" and "Cerro Concepciรณn". In addition, it will use its old and picturesque cable cars, which are still connecting this city.

      Finally, you will visit the "Casas del Bosque Vineyard". Its history began many years ago from its main manager, Juan Cรบneo Solari, son of Italian immigrants, who lived with the hope of having their own vineyards to be able to elaborate wines of the highest quality. Finally, in 1993, in Casablanca Valley, the "Viรฑa Casa del Bosque" was established, being one of the first vineyards to take advantage of this area.

      The tour will start with a film of "Casablanca Valley" and "Winemaking Process". Then, you will go to the winery where you can taste 4 types of wine. Return to Santiago.
