Day 1: Arrival And Accommodation In The Tree House

We wiill pick you up on the airport, then we will transfer you to the hotel which is locateD in "tanimboca natural reserve", the experience will be amazing since your room is located at the top of the three, being part of the nature and having complete interaction with the jungle enviroment. Once you get comfortable, you will enjoy a delicious typical peruvian lunch since this natural reserve is close to the peruvian border. After this delicious lunch we will have a trekking through the amazon jungle with a native guide, and in the evening, you will experience the great interaction with nocturnal flora and fauna through a tour in the natural reserve:

    • Welcome at Vásquez Cobo airport in the city of Leticia.

    • Ground transfer to Mundo Amazónico Ecological Park.

    • Amazonian lunch.

    • First significant encounter with the Mother Jungle through a marvelous ecotour covering all ecological stations of the park and its natural trails.

    • Visitors have the opportunity to explore ecological trails of medicinal plants, an aquarium, natural products, and the cultural village in guided tours with traditional knowledgeable guides.

    • In the late afternoon, transfer to Tanimboca Natural Reserve. Accommodation in treehouse cabins or to Oro Verde Reserve with accommodation in Amazonian glamping (according to availability).

    • Night walk and dinner.

Day 2: Milagro De Marashá", Peruvian Natural Reserve

After breakfast the journey through the Amazon river starts, by taking a motorboat for about 40 minutes up the river and crossing the border into Peru. In this side of the jungle you will go to Milagro de Marashá natural reserve, where deep jungle surrounds the area. Here there is a big Maloka (shelter) floating on a lake, where you will stay overnight. You will have the incredible opportunity to appreciate some of the unique flora and fauna. At night, take a guided walking tour through the jungle accompanied by the captivating sounds and fascinating aromas, with the possibility of sighting a rare species of alligator:

    • Breakfast at the reserve.

    • Transfer to the port of Leticia.

    • Boat departure on the mighty Amazon River to Marasha Natural Reserve in Peru (approx. 1 hour).

    • Entrance to the reserve (July to January involves a 2hour walk, and February to June includes a 1hour canoe journey).

    • Accommodation in "malocas" (traditional communal huts).

    • Typical lunch of the Peruvian Amazon.

    • Canoe and kayak ride on the lake.

    • Fauna and flora observation, artisanal fishing.

    • Dinner.

    • Aromas and sounds of the nocturnal jungle activity (canoe ride on the lake with the possibility of spotting the black caiman).

    • Multiple accommodation in "malocas" at the edge of the large lake.

Day 3: The Magic Of The Grand Amazon River

We leave the Marasha nature reserve early in the morning, at the point where it connects with the great Amazon river we will go by boat to the municipality of Puerto Nariño, also called the great Colombian manger. Upon reaching this high point of the Amazon River we will take another boat and visit the Tarapoto lakes, however, in low water seasons and/or when boat access is not allowed, we will do an interpretive walk bordering the El Correo sector or the Tarapoto Lake and make the possible sighting of pink and/or gray dolphins, keep in mind that we do not guarantee the sighting of these animals since they are immersed in their natural habitat. Finishing this activity we will return to Puerto Nariño where we will have a typical lunch of the region at the Morapu Restaurant, we will tour the small municipality and again we will go to the river port of Puerto Nariño to take a boat that will take us to the community of Arara, here we will walk or enter by boat (depending on water levels) to the Arara River Biohotel.

  • Breakfast at the reserve.

  • Exit walk from the reserve to the river.

  • Encounter with the mighty Amazon River, transfer by speedboat along the river to Puerto Nariño.

  • Journey along the river through possible alternate routes for potential sightings of the pink/gray dolphin (Sightings are not guaranteed, considering they are in their natural habitat).

  • Arrival in Puerto Nariño.

  • Departure to Tarapoto Lakes (In the months of July/August until December, entry to these lakes may not be possible due to water levels).

  • Lunch at Morapo, a malocastyle restaurant.

  • Walk through Puerto Nariño, known as the great Colombian nativity scene. We will visit some of the most striking and emblematic points of this place.

  • Departure by speedboat to Biohotel Arara.

  • Dinner and accommodation at Biohotel Arara River.

Within the Biohotel facilities: On the first floor, you will find the hydration station (water, herbal tea, and coffee), the dining area, and the reception. On the second floor of the Maloca, you will find board games, hammock areas, and a socialization area. Within our facilities, you will also have the pleasure of entering the innovative treehouse "mirador," which is approximately 30 meters high, and the groundlevel cottage.

Day 4: Adventure Ends

After previous days of adventure, our last day will be a resting day. After having breakfast, we will have morning off, and in the afternoon, we will transfer you to the airport

    • Breakfast at the hotel.

    • Return by speedboat to Leticia.

    • Free day.

    • Depending on the flight time, transfer to the airport.

NOTE: This itinerary may undergo modifications based on climatic conditions while always preserving and respecting the scheduled activities. River transfers on the Amazon River will be carried out in shared boats.
