      Day 1: Arrive Launceston

Arrive into Launceston, transfers provided to your accommodation (Hotel Verge), meet and greet your guide with a welcome group dinner on your first night to get excited about your adventure ahead.

Day 2: Cycling The North East Tasmania Rail Trail (24Kms Or 42Kms)

We initially transfer out of Launceston to Lilydale, where we jump on our bikes and ride the fun, off road North East rail trail to Scottsdale. The ideal way to get the legs going. Beautiful scenery and easy riding. Overnight at Anabels of Scottsdale.

  • Day 3 Day 3: Cycling To St Helens (Optional 43 Or 73Kms)
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

Day 3: Cycling To St Helens (Optional 43 Or 73Kms)

After breakfast we initially transfer in our vehicle to avoid busy roads (and a big hill!), with optional starts at Branxholm (73kms total day) or Weldborough (43kms). There is some initial uphill but we enjoy a long roll into St Helens and some superb scenery. We are now on the coast. Overnight at Panorama Hotel.

  • Day 4 Day 4: Cycling To Bicheno (Optional 45 Or 75Kms)
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

Day 4: Cycling To Bicheno (Optional 45 Or 75Kms)

Todays ride is pure ocean scenery. Whilst we follow the main Tasman Highway our support vehicle is behind us throughout. Again there is the option to ride the full length, or be transferred some of the way. We enjoy a scenic picnic lunch from a vantage point. Overnight at Bicheno by the bay.

  • Day 5 Day 5: Cycling To Freycinet National Park (45Kms)
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

Day 5: Cycling To Freycinet National Park (45Kms)

Another stunning day or ocean views and relaxed, undulating cycling as we head into Freycinet National Park. Itโ€™s mainly downhill cruising with 2 uphills that are short (no more than 75 meters ascent) and achievable for most. We enjoy a winery lunch today as we arrive at the stunning Freycinet Lodge, our home for the next 2 nights.

  • Day 6 Day 6: Hiking In Freycinet National Park &Amp; Wineglass Bay
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

Day 6: Hiking In Freycinet National Park &Amp; Wineglass Bay

We discover world famous Freycinet National Park with a 5.5-hour / 10km guided hike. Explore the dramatic pink granite peaks, its jewel-coloured waters, pure white sands & abundant wildlife. Water taxi return trip back to the Lodge (30 mins). Hike over some rocky terrain, granite stairs and sandy beaches before a gourmet picnic lunch.

  • Day 7 Day 7: Cycling To Triabunna (48 Or 73Kms)
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

Day 7: Cycling To Triabunna (48 Or 73Kms)

An initial transfer to the top of a long hill at Apslawn, so we can roll our way down to Triabunna. The views on this stretch of the coast are superb. Triabunna is the main civic centre for the east coast and is fringed by beaches, coastal reserves, hills & forests. The town was established as a garrison for the penal settlement on Maria Island and is now the departure point for the Maria Island Ferry, and still has a number of preserved convict-era buildings. Stay at the Spring Bay Mill

Our final day on the bikes. Our route has options for longer or easier rides and takes us through historic Richmond and the Coal River Valley. After a tasting and winery lunch. We jump on the bus for a final transfer into Hobart (taking about 1 hr). Overnight at Hadleys Orient hotel.
