  • Day 1 Day 1: Krakow: Divine Mercy Shrine, Nowa Huta District

      Day 1: Krakow: Divine Mercy Shrine, Nowa Huta District

      Enjoy a pick-up from your hotel to Divine Mercy Shrine, celebrating Mass there.

      Visit beautiful Divine Mercy Sanctuary in Cracow, Lagiewniki. See the miraculous image of Merciful Jesus and the relics of Sister Faustina.

      Leave after lunch for Nowa Huta.

      You will be taken for a drive around in this ex-Socialist quarter of Krakow.  After Poland was liberated and occupied by the Soviet Union the communists built the largest European steel mill called Nowa Huta.

      Visit the Lordโ€™s Ark Church - built between 1967 and 1977, Nowa Hutaโ€™s first house of worship, pieced together brick by brick by volunteer workers with no assistance from the communist authorities. The complete opposite of what Nowa Huta was meant to stand for, the Lordโ€™s Ark (Arka Pana) is a remarkable building and a true symbol of the Polish belief in Catholicism.

      Later, visit the splendid Holy Cross Basilica and the adjoining Cistercian cloister, which dates way, way back to 1266. This is the Cistercian Monastery and famous for its morbidly miraculous cross. It is also recognized as among the most important religious buildings in Maล‚opolska.

      At about 18:00, have traditional Polish cuisine for your selective palate while looking at traditional wooden architecture. A Polish highlander experience.

      Enjoy a beautiful classical music concert (1-hour) in a 400-year-old church at 20:00. Have traditional Polish cuisine for your selective palate while looking at the traditional wooden architecture.

      After the concert, you will be taken back to your hotel.  

  • Day 2 Day 2: Zakopane
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 2: Zakopane

      In the morning drive to Zakopane, a beautiful resort village nestled in the Tatra Mountains region. Originally a seventeenth century forestry settlement, Zakopane is now a sprawling town, close to the Slovak border at the edge of the Tatra Mountains National Park. 

      Visiting Chocholow, a village comprised almost exclusively of the heritage Polish wooden houses (gรณralskie chaty) built by the Gรณral highlanders. Celebrate Holy Mass in the sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima in Krzeptowki. A sanctuary in Krzeptowki and the place for the Virgin Maryโ€™s cult, that is closely related to John Paul II.

      Afterwards, visit of Zakopane Old Town, funicular to Gubalowka hill, a mountain above the Polish town of Zakopane and a popular tourist attraction, offering  views of the Tatra Mountains across the valley below. Later visit a local market famous for woodcraft, leather and other souvenirs. You will also see Srednia Krokiew ski jumping hill in Zakopane.

      On the way back you will relax and rejuvenate at the thermal hot spring complex which offers five pools and a Jacuzzi. The thermal water in the swimming pools is mineral rich and has numerous helth benefits. The baths are equipped with numerous appliances for hydro massage such as water jets, massage benches, hedgehogs, geysers, devices for massaging the neck or the shoulder with wide and narrow streams of water.         

  • Day 3 Day 3: Czestochowa
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 3: Czestochowa

      In the morning drive west from Krakow to Czestochowa.  Visit to the magnificent fourteenth century Monastery of Our Lady of Czestochowa at Jasna Gora, the biggest Marian Shrine of Poland, the home of the Black Madonna icon. 

      Celebrate mass at the Pauline Monastery and see the priceless treasures contained within, including the Miraculous Icon. 

      Afterwards, drive through the white rocky limestone trail adorned with castles. You will see the Hercules Mace Rock, which is a 30 meters tall limestone rock situated in Ojcรณw National Park. See the church built on the water and enjoy dinner at a fabulous restaurant on the journey back to Krakow.
