      Arrive at Kota Kinabalu International Airport in the centre of Malaysian Borneo where weโ€™ll meet you to drive a short journey to our cool Eco Lodge. Relax upon arrival before the evenings welcome dinner and drinks with your group. Weโ€™ll take a walk along the waterfront and soak up the bustling & unique atmosphere in this exciting city.

      Day 2: Mari Mari Cultural Village Trip (1L)

      Today is all about culture and history as we visit Mari Mari Cultural Village. The village aims to share the knowledge and tradition of 5 different main ethnic tribes that make up Sabah, Borneo. Weโ€™ll immerse ourselves in the daily life of the locals & listen to the stories of the Bobohizan - the High Priestesses of a tribe. This evening weโ€™ll relax and take in the stunning sunset which has often been voted number one in the world!

  • Day 3 Day 3: Orangutan & Sun Bear Rehabilitation Centre

      Day 3: Orangutan & Sun Bear Rehabilitation Centre

      This morning weโ€™ll set off to Sepilok, Sandakan. Enjoy the scenic views & small villages on our drive before arriving at our resort, with a beautiful pool to cool off in.
      After freshening up, we will head to the Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre where approximately 80 orangutans are living free in the reserve. Keep your eyes peeled as there are also around 25 babies living in the nurseries at the centre too! We will also check out the Bornean Sun Bear Centre, next door to the orangutans, which is home to the worldโ€™s smallest bears. The purpose of the centre is to provide care, rehabilitation and release of orphaned and captive sun bears.

  • Day 4 Day 4: Kinabatangan River Safari (1B, 1L, 1D)

      Day 4: Kinabatangan River Safari (1B, 1L, 1D)

      After breakfast, we head off to explore the Gomantong Caves, before arriving at the Kinabatangan River. Weโ€™ll check into our Adventure Lodge and get ready to spend the evening on a river safari. Get your cameras ready for the array of wildlife & birdlife that weโ€™ll be accompanied with. From pygmy elephants and orangutans to crocodiles and probosciโ€™s monkeys. If you are a fan of wildlife, this will be your heaven!

      This evening weโ€™ll settle into our lodges which overlook the beautiful mountains to get ready for tomorrowโ€™s activities.

  • Day 5 Day 5: Morning River Safari & Kundasang War Memorial (1B)

      Day 5: Morning River Safari & Kundasang War Memorial (1B)

      Wake up to the calls of gibbons as we embark on a morning river safari in search of waking wildlife and birds. After weโ€™ll check out and head to Kundasang to visit the War Memorial & Gardens. One of the first memorials to commemorate the brave Australian and British Prisoners of War who died during the infamous Sandakan-Ranau Death March.

      This evening weโ€™ll soak up a truly local way of life; sampling local rice wine & eating the delicious local food.

  • Day 6 Day 6: Langanan Waterfall Trek & Hot Springs
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 6: Langanan Waterfall Trek & Hot Springs

      Today we have an early start to get ready for a super active day! Weโ€™ll start by exploring Mount Kinabaluโ€™s treetops which invites you to witness the impressive hundred million-year-old rainforest. Afterwards, weโ€™ll head to the highest waterfall in Sabah, the Langanan Waterfall. Standing 100m high, prepare for a challenge on this 3.5km trek. Weโ€™ll reward ourselves later this afternoon relaxing in the hot springs before a chilled evening with the group.

      After a jam-packed week of activities, we spend today exploring our surroundings at our own leisure. Check out the local markets, treat yourself to a massage and take in the beautiful surroundings that we are in.

  • Day 8 Day 8: Scuba Diving & Snorkel Safari

      Day 8: Scuba Diving & Snorkel Safari

      This morning weโ€™ll head over to a divers paradise. Weโ€™ll hop on a boat to Gaya Island to enjoy a day of snorkelling or you can even try Scuba Diving for the first time. If you are already a qualified diver enjoy getting up close and personal with a huge array of tropical marine life.
