      Arrive in Killarney and check in to your B&B and pick up your bikes and the information package with route description and map. If you have time, take a short round trip to Muckross House and Killarney National Park and then back to Killarney.

      From Killarney, cycle westward among the foothills of Irelandโ€™s highest mountain, Carrantuohill, around beautiful Caragh Lake before heading to the picturesque village of Glenbeigh where youโ€™ll be staying overnight.

      Todayโ€™s route takes you west from Glenbeigh to the peaceful and quiet shores of Kells Bay. From here, head west and end the day outside the city of Caherciveen with views of Valentia Island. They spend two nights in Caherciveen.

      Today is free to enjoy Kerryโ€™s incredible coastal landscape. We recommend a local ferry ride to Valentia Island
      where you can cycle back the regionโ€™s history to the knights of Kerry, or go even further back in time and visit Tetrapod tracks that are 360 million years old! Another highlight of this day is the Kerry Cliffs, these towering rock faces that face west and are constantly formed by the waves of the Atlantic. Lunch in the picturesque village of Portmagee is a great option
      before you end your day at Skellig Islands Interpretation Center.

      From Caherciveen, todayโ€™s bike ride takes you on one of the most magnificent routes imaginable, through the Inny Valley. As you cycle through this beautiful landscape and over the legendary Ballaghisheen Pass, majestic views will present themselves. Your day ends on the banks of the Blackstones River.

      From Sneem, the route takes you back inland along hilly country roads, surrounded by emerald green farmland and dense ancient hedgerows with dry stone walls. The day ends in the vibrant historic town of Kenmare, known for its cuisine and live music.
