  • Day 1 Transfer From Kigali To Bwindi National Park (Optional Kigali City Tour)

      Our representative will pick you up in Kigali (an optional Kigali city tour or Genocide Memorial Visit can be arranged) and drive to Bwindi National Park. The drive to Uganda will go through Rwandaโ€™s northern town of Ruhengeri. You will then cross into Uganda via the Cyanika or Katuna border post. The trip continues through the nearby Kisoro or Kabale town and finally to Bwindi National Park. The journey from Kigali to Bwindi National Park will take approximately 5 hrs. Arriving at Bwindi National Park in the early afternoon will allow you to do optional activities such as hiking, visiting the Batwa community, coffee-making experience, etc. 

  • Day 2 Gorilla Trekking At Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

      Gorilla Trekking At Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

      You will head to the Bwindi National Park gate immediately after breakfast to get a briefing about the gorilla trek. The national park guide will conduct a presentation that covers the basics of what to expect during the gorilla trek. The national guide will assign the gorilla trekking group during the pre-trekking briefing. Other visitors will likely join you. The gorilla trek can take from a few to many hours, depending on how far the gorillas are inside the forest. After the gorilla trek, return to the lodge for a rest.

      Trek the Golden Monkeys in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. 

      This trip will take you to trek the golden monkeys, an endemic Mgahinga Gorilla National Park species in southwestern Uganda. You will enter the forest and walk through the bamboo vegetation and various indigenous plants like giant lobelia. During the trip, your national park guide will tell you about the history of the national park and the fauna and flora that the park holds. The golden monkey trek should take about 5 hours. After golden monkey trekking, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for an evening of relaxation.

      The tour will take you through the stunning landscapes of western Uganda. We will start the journey from Lake Bunyonyi and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park in the morning. Before driving to Queen Elizabeth National Park, explore the Lake Bunyonyi area, including a sunrise canoe trek. The drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park will be in the afternoon.

  • Day 5 Kasenyi Plains Game Drive And Kazinga Channel Boat Trip

      You will start the day with an early morning breakfast at the lodge. Afterward, we proceed to the famed Kasenyi Queen Elizabeth National Park plains to spot wild animals. Kasenyi plains dwell in the vast savannahs of the Albertine Rift in Queen Elizabeth National Park. It will be a morning full of adventure! Expect to encounter lions, herds of buffalos, elephants, Uganda kobs, topi, and bushbucks. While spotting the "Big Five" in the park is not guaranteed, on a lucky day, you may site leopards to make it to the "Big Four." Join the Kazinga Channel boat trip after lunch for wild game viewing. You will spot crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants, and bird species on the channel waters.

  • Day 6 Explore The Fort Portal Crater Lakes & Drive To Kibale Forest National Park

      Explore The Fort Portal Crater Lakes & Drive To Kibale Forest National Park

      We will start the day with a drive from Queen Elizabeth National Park to Kibale National Park. Along the way, we shall stop over in the Fort Portal area to explore the famed crater lakes of the region, popularly known as the "Top of the World". Afterward, we will drive to Kibale National Park for dinner and overnight.

  • Day 7 Chimp Habituation Experience At Kibale Forest National Park

      Chimp Habituation Experience At Kibale Forest National Park

      Starting in the morning at Kibale National Forest Park, you will go into the jungle to experience the chimpanzee habituation experience. This will be a whole day experience of learning about how the chimps are trained to get familiar with human experience. You will be guided on the trek by Uganda Wildlife Authority staff. If time permits after the trek, there are complementary community-based tourism activities, including community walks and visiting the Bigodi swamp sanctuary.

  • Day 8 Transfer From Kibale National Park To Kampala/Entebbe
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Transfer From Kibale National Park To Kampala/Entebbe

      This will be the last day of the trip. We will travel from Kibale Forest National Park to Kampala or Entebbe International Airport. The drive will take 6-7hrs.
