  • Day 1 Day 1: Jodhpur To Jaisalmer
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 1: Jodhpur To Jaisalmer

      • Pick up by 5:00 AM from Jodhpur. Cover the distance of Jaisalmer in 5 hours.
      • Check in the hotel. Freshen up and have lunch.
      • Post lunch leave for Nathmalji Ki Haveli. Nathmalji ki Haveli is a renowned architectural marvel in the heart of Jaisalmer near Patwon ki Haveli. This haveli is famous for its architecture that reflects the fusion of both Rajput and Islamic styles. The building is planned around two courtyards; the one in the front is much smaller than the rear one. The front part of the building is three storeys high and has the main living quarters. The rear portion is two storeys high and contains the ancillary accommodation.
      • After that visit Patwon ki Haveli.
      • Later in the evening visit Jaisalmer Fort. Jaisalmer Fort locally known as Sonar Quila (Golden Fort) islocated in the heart of Jaisalmer city. It is one of the largest forts in the world. Jaisalmer Fort is a World Heritage Site declared by UNESCO under the group Hill Forts of Rajasthan. Standing proudly in the middle of the great Thar Desert, this fort is regarded as The Pride of Jaisalmer. Its massive yellow sandstone walls are a tawny lion colour during the day, fading to honey-gold as the sun sets, thereby hiding the fort in the yellow desert.
      • Late evening have fun in the Sam Sand Dunes. Sam Sand Dunes are situated at the edge of Jaisalmer Desert National Park in Rajasthan. Lies in the midst of the Thar Desert, these sand dunes are amongst the most popular places to experience Rajasthan Tourism and also one of the prime places of Jaisalmer Tourism. The best way to enjoy the dunes is to undertake a camel safari trip. The camel safari trip is well organised and the camel owners are well aware of the changing temperament of the dunes. Tourists can be assured of enjoying the magic of dunes completely in the company of these guides. Besides Camel Safari, there are many other activities like jeep safari and desert camping at Sam Sand Dunes.Overnight stay in tent at Samdunes.
  • Day 2 Day 2: Jaisalmer Local

      Day 2: Jaisalmer Local

      • Next day after breakfast leave for Jain Temples. The Jain Temples are one of the oldest temples in Jaisalmer which are situated inside the Jaisalmer Fort complex. These Jain temples are the most important religious attractions in Jaisalmer.
      • After that visit Bada Bagh. Bada Bagh means big garden. It is a garden of cenotaphs or chhatris of the royal family of Jaisalmer. A descendant of Maharawal Jaisal Singh, Jait Singh II, commissioned a dam to create a water tank in the 16th century AD. This made the desert green in this area. The garden stands at the foot of a hill and several chhatris or cenotaphs stand in memory of the late rulers of Jaisalmer. This garden also includes a tank and a dam, along with a Govardhan Stambh (pillar). The pillar was constructed for commemorating the construction of the nearby tank and dam. Locals refer to the dam as Jait Bandh, while the tank is known as Jait Sar.
      • Post Bada Bagh visit Folklore Museum. The museum is a treasure trove of cultural heritage of Thar Desert, the people, their traditions and culture. One can understand the evolution of the Jaisalmer city through ages by seeing the artefacts in this museum. The stunning architecture of the museum is one of the highlights. The museum is organized into six sections and features a rich collection of paintings, photographs, costumes, hairstyles and jewellery. Other items on display include utility articles of rural life, camel and horse decorations, fossils, ornamental arches, as well as articles connected with folk and cultural lifestyles. It also features various kinds of puppets and other traditional items.
      •  After having lunch visit Lodurva.  It is Famous for Jain temples and other historical monuments. The temples at Lodurva exhibit some more fine examples of intricate craftsmanship on yellow stone. The Parshvnath Temple is the oldest and the most beautiful of the Jain temples.
      •  Later in the evening explore the local markets of Jaisalmer.
      •  Drop back to hotel.
