      Today your discovery tour begins. You will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel in Grouville. In the evening, you will have the opportunity to get to know your fellow travelers better and get in the mood for the trip together at a dinner at your hotel. (A)

  • Day 2 Day 2: East And North Coast Of Jersey

      Day 2: East And North Coast Of Jersey

      This full-day tour will introduce you to Jerseyโ€™s majestic cliffs and hidden coves. Heading east, youโ€™ll pass La Rocque and head to the pretty harbor town of Gorey with its magnificent Mont Orgueil Castle. The castle protected Jersey from French attack for over 600 years. You will explore the "labyrinth" of stairways, towers and hidden rooms. The drive continues past St. Catherineโ€™s Breakwater, Rozel Harbor, Bouleyโ€™s Pebble Bay, and small coves on the stunning cliff. Tucked away in the eastern part of the island is La Hougue Bie Museum, considered one of the most imposing prehistoric burial sites in Europe. Marvel at the 6,000-year-old Neolithic passage tomb, with a small medieval church perched on top of the hill. There is also a geology and archaeology museum on the site, which exhibits Stone Age finds. From there, enjoy the view over the sea and listen to your tour guide tell you about the embattled history of the castle. Return to your hotel. (F)

      Arrange today according to your own wishes. Relax at the hotel or explore Jersey on your own. The island has a lot to offer. If you want to visit a museum, the Maritime Museum is highly recommended. Let your tour guide give you tips for nice excursions or walks and enjoy the day! (F)

      Day 4: Excursion To Guernsey

      Today you will travel to the neighboring island of Guernsey. After about an hour ferry crossing you will reach the islandโ€™s capital St. Peter Port, which is considered the most beautiful city of the Channel Islands. Your tour guide will lead you through this gem with steep narrow streets, small stores and Victorian granite houses. In the afternoon, you will drive along the coastline through the Val de Terre and past the former garrison Fort George and Sausmarez Manor, a beautiful garden site. Your drive continues to the west coast of the island where the bays of Perelle Bay, Vazon Bay as well as Cobo Bay await you. Afterwards you will visit the Little Chapel, which is decorated with shells, pebbles and porcelain shards. The colorful chapel is considered the smallest in the world and is modeled on the basilica and grotto of Lourdes. (F)

      Your tour guide will introduce you to the history of the islandโ€™s capital during a walking tour of St. Helier. Enjoy the French flair and marvel at the landmarks of the city, such as the Victorian market hall, the city church and the bronze statues of the most famous islanders, which are located on the former cattle market. Afterwards, you will visit the house "16 New Street" restored in the elegant Georgian style. Traditionally dressed staff will give you an authentic picture of the life of the islanders in the 18th century. The afternoon is at your leisure. For example, stroll through the city or explore the surrounding area. Your tour guide will be able to make some suggestions for this afternoon as well. (F)

      Day 6: Boat Tour Along The South Coast

      You will take a boat tour along the south coast, passing the impressive Elizabeth Castle and St. Aubin Bay. While your guide tells you some anecdotes and stories about Jersey, you pass the bays of St. Brelade and Portelet. Your destination is the Corbiรจre Lighthouse, which rises picturesquely on red granite. On the way back to your hotel you can review your impressions of todayโ€™s experiences. (F)

  • Day 7 Day 7: Exploring The South And West Coast Of Jersey

      Day 7: Exploring The South And West Coast Of Jersey

      Today you will discover the south and west coast of the island by land. Your first stop is St. Matthewโ€™s Glass Church in Millbrook. As you drive along the south coast to St. Aubin and the stunning St. Brelade Bay, whose beach is considered the most beautiful on the island, you can admire the surrounding scenery. If time permits, the bus will stop at Fishermans Chapel (12th century) before reaching the imposing Corbiรจre lighthouse. You will then drive to Grosnez Castle, from where you will take a one-hour hike along the stunning north coast to Plรฉmont. After your hike, you will be picked up and taken to La Mare Wine Estate, where you will receive a guided tour of the estate and look forward to a wine tasting. In the evening, you will end your round trip with a leisurely farewell dinner at the hotel. (B/A)
