Day 1: Arrive at ICN Airport or Seoul โ Jeju

Arrival at ICN airport and meet with our driver and head to Gimpo Airport and fly to Jeju Island
Sangumburi is a flat crater with a circumference of over 2 km, 650 meters wide, and100 meters deep. If you look at the crater from above up, it looks like a man-made circular stadium. There is an incredible variety of plant-lives in the small crater that it attracts the attention of many researchers.

Maze Land is a themed park boasting the worldโs longest stone maze, 5km in total length. The maze is made mainly using iconic stone and wood materials found on Jeju Island. With its variety of trees several decades old, it is a perfect place for โforest bathing.โ The maze is recognized as a filming location of a popular Korean entertainment show โRunning Manโ.

This beach is distinctively different from normal beaches thanks to a few special features. The first is its soft black sand formed from gradual weathering of basalt rocks. Whimsically enough, the water is still emerald clear by the dark sand. You will also walk on solidified lava rock structures covered in green moss. Smell the fresh sea air, touch the vibrant surroundings, and walk as far into the horizon.

Also referred as โSunrise Peakโ, this archetypal tuff-cone structure rose from the shallow sea by hydro-volcanic eruptions 5,000 years ago. Climbing to the top, you can find a grass-filled crater surrounded by numerous sharp rocks. This colossal footprint left by nature is a UNESCO World Heritage and also a habitat for 200 types of trees and wild animals.
Japanese empire dig holes on the walls of this lava structure, using them to hide military camps. Now they are used by Haenyeos as their diving platforms. Haenyeos are female divers who dive into the ocean water to gather various shellfish, seaweed, etc, without using any underwater diving equipment. Their unique way of life and culture were inscribed as UNESCO Intangible Heritage of the World. You can watch their performance nearby.

Located at the foot of Mt. Halla, Seongeup Folk Village is a small town that holds a vast amount of indigenous Jeju culture. Cultural properties in the folk village have been handed down for generations, and include treasures such as residential houses, Confucian shrines and schools, ancient government offices, and fortress ruins.
The residents still lead their lives in company of this uniquely Jeju environment. Their thatched houses are flanked with black lava rock walls, and the straight but curvy alleys block the strong wind. Stone grandfather statues have become a prime feature of the landscape, and the locals grow black-haired pigs. The black pork is known to be very nutritious!

Moving past a flock of pine tree forest, we will find a beach filled with a group of mysterious, black rock pillars in shapes of cubes and hexagons in varying sizes. These rocks almost seem as carved by human hands. Formed by the cooling and solidification of lava flows, the columnar jointing arose from contraction of molten lava during cooling. This is a unique sight designated as natural monument of Jeju Island.

Grown out of long-term observation and meditation over art and life, Spirited Garden has been called one of the most beautiful garden in the world, attracting world celebrities and leaders. Mr. Sung's story of creating the garden was featured in Chinese textbooks as a model example of determined Korean spirit, along with the miracle of Han River.

Mt. Sanbangsan is made up of a huge body of lava from violent volcanic activity 700,000 to 800,000 years ago. A rich variety of curious rock formations can be found on the walls of the lava cliffs.
As its name, meaning a room inside a mountain, suggests, the mountain contains a cave where one can capture a spectacular view out over the ocean. The upper slopes of the mountain have their own distinct climate conditions and are protected for their value for botanical research.

The legend behind Cheonjiyeon Falls is told that seven fairies serving the King of Heaven came down to the pond on stairs of clod and bathed in the clean waters. The waterfall itself is 22 meters high and 12 meters wide. This national natural monument is also known as a famous eel-fish habitat. The forest nearby contains a variety of rare plants such as brambles.

Day 3: Seoul - Mt. Seorak - Ski resort
Stop At: Seoraksan National Park, Sokcho, Gangwon-do South Korea
As the sunlight seep through the morning mist, the entire valley of Mt. Seoraksan shine in snowy white. We will venture out together in magical valleys and taste Oseak, the region's famous mineral water.
This widely beloved 1,700 meters tall mountain owns such stunning views, mesmerizing waterfalls, and famous hot springs.
There are several hiking courses varying in distance and duration, and we will take a route of your preference.

Gwongeumseong Fortress is the site of a castle ruins located on Mt. Seoraksan. By taking Gwongeumseong cable car, you can climb up to the top of mountain range, and see the fascinating rock formations. On a day with a clear view, your sight can reach as far east to look over the ocean by Sokcho city.

Built in the mid 7th ceuntury, Sinheung-sa is believed to be the oldest Zen Buddhist temple in the world.
The trail to the temple starts from a giant iron Buddha statue known as Tongil Daebul. This masterful statue was erected in the 1990's to symbolize the Korean people's hope for the reunification of North and South Korea. The almost-smiling Buddha adds a sense of serenity and spirituality to the park.
Stopping again to marvel at the view of stunning valley, Sinheungsa Temple comes into view under the sharp, jagged peaks of Mt. Seoraksan.

After the hotel pick-up, we will head to a ski resort. Ski rental & basic ski lesson will be provided. Lunch time will be prepared inside the ski resort.
Extra ski lesson will be provided for those who struggle for their first time, otherwise it is time to enjoy skiing.
Vivaldi Park Ski World has been noted for being the most visited ski resort in Korea for seven consecutive years. Its facilities are kept in a state-of-art and it is equipped with slopes suitable for all levels. It also is the closes ski resort from Seoul, being the largest in the metropolitan region.

Daegwallyong Hill & Sheep farm is a privately owned ranch raising sheep. The sheep grazing field is surrounded by a 1.2 meter-long circular walkway, so visitors can view the sheep at all times during their visit. It takes about 40 minutes to walk along this path. A wooden shack located in the field appeared as a backdrop of the movie 'The Man from Mars.'
To get a closer experience with the sheep, sign up for the feeding experience, where you can give hay to the sheep and even reach out to touch their fuzzy heads.
You will have dinner with local delicious food and come back to ski resort, in order to enjoy night skiing.

Take in the breathtaking 360-degree view of the Seoul Metropolis! The top of the tower is at almost 480m above sea level, including Namsan Mountain(243m) and the towerโs own height(236.7m).
The tower was first established as a broadcast tower to send out TV and radio signals in 1969. As of now, it has become one of the representative landmarks and multi-cultural venues in Seoul. At the tower, you can check out other highlights including the famous 'Locks of Love' and ancient beacon mounds. The entry into the observatory deck in the tower is not included.

The streets are filled with abundance of street food vendors. Enjoy your evening in this town, which seems to have forgotten the night.

Day 6: Seoul - DMZ

Created on July 27, 1953, the Korean Demilitarized Zone is a strip of land running across the Korean Peninsula. It was established by the provisions of the Korean Armistice Agreement. This heavily fortified area serves a role of a buffer zone between the North and South, along the 38th parallel. Within DMZ is a meeting point between the two nations in a small Joint Security Area(JSA), where inter-Korea negotiations take place.

Dorasan Station is a railway station that used to connect North and South Korea. Trains travelled to both sides with goods and materials until 2008. Although this large station is now left out of operation, it remains symbolic of the hope for eventual Korean Unification.

The Third Infiltration Tunnel is one of four known tunnels under the border between North and South Korea. Discovered in 1978, the tunnel is 1mile long. It penetrates 435 meters south from the military demarcation line, and can coordinate 30,000 men in a single hour. Convincingly built to perform a rapid raid action to the South, North Korea was blamed for threatening the 1953 Korean Armistice Agreement by United Nations upon its discovery.

The agricultural properties of this town is thus renowned for its high quality.

Noryangjin is a lively, at times chaotic, and many times very wet fish market. By wandering from one vendor to another, you will find both weird and wonderful sea creatures on display. Check out their wide variety of unusual sea food such as beltfish, penis fish, abalones, skates, sharks, and even frog eggs. Koreans generally visit the market to purchase fresh hwe, sliced raw fish. Negotiating is both acceptable and expected at Noryangjin. After a purchase is complete, you could bring the fish upstairs to have it prepared for a grub on the site.

We will first visit a Hanbok Rental shop to try the Korean traditional dress(Optional). You can stroll inside Gyeongbukgung palace wearing Hanbok! Wearing the dress will leave you both a special memory and dreamy pictures!
Situated at the top of Gwanghwamun Square, the presence of Gyeongbukgung palace gleams brightly in the central spine of the nation. As the first and largest palace built by Joseon Dynasty in 1395, this grand villa consisted of 330 buildings and had up to 3,000 staffs.
Before entering to explore the palace, we will watch the changing ceremony of royal guards. This enactment is an excellent opportunity to experience a rare tradition, performed exactly as it used to be held. Guards appear wearing royal uniforms, carrying traditional weapons and playing traditional instruments.

The visitors can also participate in traditional activities such as archery and falconry, and enjoy traditional performances.

The highlight of this market is, however, discovering the animated street food stalls! We will go sampling some of the best Korean street foods here. The specialties in this market are octopus tartar and mung-bean pancakes. You will also be introduced to eccentric Korean foods such as steamed pork feet, blood sausage, and spicy chicken feet.

The area is always booming with people negotiating prices of fashion items in small independent stalls. Countless independent fashion stalls are found in the whole floors of nearby buildings.

Gwongeumseong Fortress is the site of a castle ruins located on Mt. Seoraksan. Built in the mid 7th ceuntury, Sinheung-sa is believed to be the oldest Zen Buddhist temple in the world.
The trail to the temple starts from a giant iron Buddha statue known as Tongil Daebul. This masterful statue was erected in the 1990's to symbolize the Korean people's hope for the reunification of North and South Korea. The almost-smiling Buddha adds a sense of serenity and spirituality to the park.
Stopping again to marvel at the view of stunning valley, Sinheungsa Temple comes into view under the sharp, jagged peaks of Mt. Seoraksan.

Vivaldi Park Ski World has been noted for being the most visited ski resort in Korea for seven consecutive years. Its facilities are kept in a state-of-art and it is equipped with slopes suitable for all levels. It also is the closes ski resort from Seoul, being the largest in the metropolitan region.

Daegwallyong Hill & Sheep farm is a privately owned ranch raising sheep. The sheep grazing field is surrounded by a 1.2 meter-long circular walkway, so visitors can view the sheep at all times during their visit. It takes about 40 minutes to walk along this path. A wooden shack located in the field appeared as a backdrop of the movie 'The Man from Mars.'
To get a closer experience with the sheep, sign up for the feeding experience, where you can give hay to the sheep and even reach out to touch their fuzzy heads.
You will have dinner with local delicious food and come back to ski resort, in order to enjoy night skiing.

Take in the breathtaking 360-degree view of the Seoul Metropolis! The top of the tower is at almost 480m above sea level, including Namsan Mountain(243m) and the towerโs own height(236.7m).
The tower was first established as a broadcast tower to send out TV and radio signals in 1969. As of now, it has become one of the representative landmarks and multi-cultural venues in Seoul. At the tower, you can check out other highlights including the famous 'Locks of Love' and ancient beacon mounds. The entry into the observatory deck in the tower is not included.

The streets are filled with abundance of street food vendors. Enjoy your evening in this town, which seems to have forgotten the night.

Day 6: Seoul - DMZ

Created on July 27, 1953, the Korean Demilitarized Zone is a strip of land running across the Korean Peninsula. It was established by the provisions of the Korean Armistice Agreement. This heavily fortified area serves a role of a buffer zone between the North and South, along the 38th parallel. Within DMZ is a meeting point between the two nations in a small Joint Security Area(JSA), where inter-Korea negotiations take place.

Dorasan Station is a railway station that used to connect North and South Korea. Trains travelled to both sides with goods and materials until 2008. Although this large station is now left out of operation, it remains symbolic of the hope for eventual Korean Unification.

The Third Infiltration Tunnel is one of four known tunnels under the border between North and South Korea. Discovered in 1978, the tunnel is 1mile long. It penetrates 435 meters south from the military demarcation line, and can coordinate 30,000 men in a single hour. Convincingly built to perform a rapid raid action to the South, North Korea was blamed for threatening the 1953 Korean Armistice Agreement by United Nations upon its discovery.

Unification Village(Tongilchon) is a unique village nearest to North Korean border. The agricultural properties of this town is thus renowned for its high quality.

Noryangjin is a lively, at times chaotic, and many times very wet fish market. By wandering from one vendor to another, you will find both weird and wonderful sea creatures on display. Check out their wide variety of unusual sea food such as beltfish, penis fish, abalones, skates, sharks, and even frog eggs. Koreans generally visit the market to purchase fresh hwe, sliced raw fish. Negotiating is both acceptable and expected at Noryangjin. After a purchase is complete, you could bring the fish upstairs to have it prepared for a grub on the site.

We will first visit a Hanbok Rental shop to try the Korean traditional dress(Optional). You can stroll inside Gyeongbukgung palace wearing Hanbok! Wearing the dress will leave you both a special memory and dreamy pictures!
Situated at the top of Gwanghwamun Square, the presence of Gyeongbukgung palace gleams brightly in the central spine of the nation. As the first and largest palace built by Joseon Dynasty in 1395, this grand villa consisted of 330 buildings and had up to 3,000 staffs.
Before entering to explore the palace, we will watch the changing ceremony of royal guards. This enactment is an excellent opportunity to experience a rare tradition, performed exactly as it used to be held. Guards appear wearing royal uniforms, carrying traditional weapons and playing traditional instruments.

The visitors can also participate in traditional activities such as archery and falconry, and enjoy traditional performances.

Gwangjang Market was the first permanent market in Korea and continues to thrive as a popular tourist destination today, popularized by a recent Netflix show. The second floor of the market is filled with silk, satin, and linen bed-sheet stores, which are the largest and most famous in Seoul.
The highlight of this market is, however, discovering the animated street food stalls! We will go sampling some of the best Korean street foods here. The specialties in this market are octopus tartar and mung-bean pancakes. You will also be introduced to eccentric Korean foods such as steamed pork feet, blood sausage, and spicy chicken feet.

Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) has a meaning of Dream, Design, and Play. This futuristic architecture holds various exhibitions and fashion shows. The larger area surrounding it are regarded as the fashion district of Seoul. It is where the first generations of Korean fashion designers and clothing brands carried on their dreams. The area is always booming with people negotiating prices of fashion items in small independent stalls. Countless independent fashion stalls are found in the whole floors of nearby buildings.
A dinner with local food will be arranged at this place. After the day's activities, you will be dropped off at your hotel in Seoul.
