      Hike On The Beinn Eighe

A walk along Loch Maree on the Woodland Trail is todayโ€™s warm-up exercise for the subsequent ascent of Beinn Eighe. This panoramic mountain offers sweeping views over the Wester Ross Range, a landscape that seems partly arctic or straight out of a fantasy movie. Overnight stay as on the previous day. (Walking time approx. 4.5 hours, 630 mโ†‘โ†“, 9 km).

  • Day 5 Ullapool - Isle Of Lewis And Harris
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

A ferry trip past the Summer Isles takes you to the largest of the Outer Hebridean Islands, which has two names: Lewis and Harris. From the main town of Stornoway, you take a beautiful coastal walk to Lews Castle. Afterwards, you will learn how the famous Harris Tweed, which can only be produced on this island, is made at a weaving demonstration. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel. (Walking time approx. 2 hours, 200 mโ†‘โ†“, 7 km).

  • Day 6 Callanish Standing Stones
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Callanish Standing Stones

The Callanish Standing Stones are an impressive sign of Celtic culture. On the nearby circular walk along the coast and through forests, you have a good chance of seeing local wildlife such as golden eagles, seals and many seabirds in this remote area. Dinner and overnight stay as on the previous day. (Walking time approx. 4 hours, 250 mโ†‘โ†“, 12 km).

  • Day 7 Hikes On The Isle Of Skye
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

Hikes On The Isle Of Skye

Today itโ€™s time to get up early to catch the morning ferry to the Isle of Skye. The island boasts magnificent, wildly dramatic landscapes, which is why you will be undertaking two hikes. The Quiraing Circular Walk leads to one of the most famous mountain formations in the north of the island. In this fairytale-like area, often shrouded in mist, an encounter with hobbits or orcs would hardly come as a surprise. A second hike on the Cullin Walk leads to wonderful viewpoints over the coast and the mountains of Skye. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel. (Walking time approx. 5-6 hours, 760 mโ†‘โ†“, 14 km).

  • Day 8 Glenfinnan - Fort William
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Glenfinnan - Fort William

Another short ferry ride is on the agenda today. On the mainland, follow the beautiful Road to the Isles and enjoy the views of lakes, mountains and the sea. At the Glenfinnan Viaduct, you hike to fabulous viewpoints. Perhaps the Hogwarts Express is about to pass by? On the highest mountain in Great Britain, Ben Nevis, you will later undertake another hike, which does not lead to the summit, but still offers a good view. Overnight stay in a hotel. (Walking time approx. 4 hours, 560 mโ†‘โ†“, 10 km).

  • Day 9 Fort William - Inverness
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Fort William - Inverness

Drive from Fort William towards the Cairngorms National Park. This national park in the Highlands is home to a large number of Munros, the Scottish name for mountains over 3000 feet (approx. 914 m). Although this may not sound very high, these mountains are often a challenge due to the harsh climate and frequent changes in the weather. Hike to the second highest mountain in Scotland, Ben Macdui (1309 m). Overnight stay in a hotel. (Walking time approx. 6h, 920 mโ†‘โ†“, 18 km).

  • Day 10 Departing
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm
