A warm welcome awaits you from a KANTU PERU TOURS representative at the airport, ready to escort you to your Cusco hotel. During this time, we’ll furnish you with essential insights about Cusco. After your hotel check-in, we recommend taking a moment to relax and savor a light meal before commencing our City Tour.

Around 12:30 to 13:00 p.m., our representative will pick you up from your hotel to kick-start this captivating exploration of Cusco. Our journey unfolds with the city’s remarkable landmarks, starting with a visit to the cathedral, a pivotal temple in present-day Cusco. Our adventure continues to Qoricancha, the Temple of the Sun, steeped in significance from the Inca era. Prepare for an extraordinary experience as we delve into the awe-inspiring Inca fortress of Sacsayhuaman, an architectural marvel that challenges the bounds of imagination.

Our tour further immerses you in Q’enqo, the Puma temple, Tambomachay, the water temple, and Puca Pucara, the Red fortress, culminating around 6:30 p.m. in the city center.

Continuing the thrilling adventure over these 5 days, we embark on exploring the extraordinary Sacred Valley, culminating in an overnight stay in the enchanting town of Aguas Calientes.

Around 8:00 a.m., our representative will be at your hotel (we recommend packing a small bag with essentials for an overnight stay). Our journey begins with a visit to the Sacred Valley viewpoint, offering breathtaking vistas of this remarkable locale.

Our expedition then leads us to the Inca site of Pisac, where our expert guide will illuminate the nuances of this grand Inca city. Subsequently, our transport escorts us to Urubamba, revered as the Sacred Valley’s hub, where we indulge in an Inca buffet lunch at a tourist hotspot. Post-lunch, a brief 30-minute bus ride brings us to Ollantaytambo, where we explore impressive structures like the Temple of the Sun, perched atop the hill.

In the afternoon, our team will assist you at the Ollantaytambo train station. After a reasonable wait time, we embark on a scenic 1 hour and 45-minute train journey, greeted at Aguas Calientes station by our team who’ll escort you to the hotel. Later, around 8 p.m., our local Machupicchu guide will contact you, offering more insights about the upcoming Machupicchu tour.

Day 3 Machu Picchu Tour

Machu Picchu Tour

Following a delectable breakfast, we’ll proceed to the bus station for a scenic 30-minute journey to the checkpoint. Don’t forget your original passport; it’s essential for Machu Picchu Control, ensuring an uninterrupted and unforgettable experience.

Embrace your initial view of Machu Picchu; remember, regulations prevent return visits, making this your cherished first impression of the site. Subsequently, our expert guide will lead a comprehensive tour, highlighting key features like the main square, sundial, and Temple of the Condor.

As the tour concludes, our guide will offer recommendations for reaching the train station. You’ll then board a bus back to Aguas Calientes town, where you can relish lunch at a local restaurant (on your own). Following this, ensure a 30-minute early arrival at the train station to avoid any delays.

In the afternoon, we’ll embark on the train back to Ollantaytambo, as per the scheduled departure. There, our representative will be eagerly awaiting to accompany you back to the city of Cusco, with an estimated return between 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.

Around 8:00 am, our representative will collect you from your hotel, guiding you through the remarkable landscapes of Chinchero. Within 45 minutes, you’ll reach the vibrant town of Chinchero, where local artisans will showcase a captivating weaving demonstration. Continuing the adventure, a scenic 30-minute drive leads to the mesmerizing agricultural terraces of Moray. En route to the Salineras de Maras, soak in the awe-inspiring landscapes that adorn this corner of Cusco.

The final stop before returning to Cusco unveils the awe-inspiring Maras Salt Mine—a natural spring that nourishes extensive networks of small salt pools, where salt is harvested through evaporation. After immersing in these extraordinary Incan sites, you’ll return to Cusco around 2:00 pm. The tour culminates in the heart of the city.
