  • Day 1 Welcome To Greenland

      Welcome To Greenland

      After your arrival at the airport in Ilulissat you will be met by your guide together with your fellow travelers. Our adventure begins with a short walk through beautiful Ilulissat. The route takes us to an old Sermermiut settlement where we can enjoy the view of the ice fjords and, if we are lucky, watch some anglers ice fishing! After an exciting first day we will go back to the hotel, where a first dinner with some Greenlandic specialties is waiting for us.


      As a little tip: if you plan to drink some alcoholic beverages, itโ€™s best to buy tax-free at the airport, because alcohol is very expensive in Greenland ;-)

  • Day 2 Fishing And Ancient Traditions (Oqaatsut)

      We start the day with a boat trip towards Oqaatsut. On the way there we will try our hand at fishing: from here on itโ€™s fingers crossed, because what will hopefully hang on the hook will be your dinner today!


      After a short walk through the village we will visit a local family for a traditional Greenlandic kaffemik with coffee and cake. Our hosts will tell us exciting stories about the area and what it is like to live in a small settlement in the middle of nowhere. After an adventurous day, it is time to prepare our catch of the day as a delicious dinner and then enjoy the evening.

  • Day 3 The Ice Fjords Of Ilulissat

      The Ice Fjords Of Ilulissat

      After breakfast together we pack our things and head back to city life by boat. We will enjoy our lunch on the boat in the middle of Ilulissatโ€™s impressive ice fjords.

      Back in town, we will fulfill a wish that has definitely been on our bucket list for a long time: We will go snowmobiling in the vast snowy landscapes of Greenland!


      After another exciting day, we will have dinner with a local family and learn a bit about the culture and traditions of the country.

  • Day 4 Discover The Nature Of Greenland

      Discover The Nature Of Greenland

      After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, we head to the airport for our 45-minute flight to Kangerlussuaq. Once arrived, we check into our hostel and prepare for a sightseeing bus tour of Kangerlussuaq. After a relaxing dinner together, we will have time to rest a bit and look forward to the rest of our upcoming adventures.

  • Day 5 A Very Special Camping Experience

      A Very Special Camping Experience

      Today we will embark on a very special and unique adventure away from civilization: Our 2 day expedition to the Greenland Ice Sheet. Our expedition begins in an all-terrain 4WD vehicle equipped with large panoramic windows so we can enjoy the magical scenery along the way. Arriving at Point 660, we receive our safety briefings for the activities ahead and then set up camp for the night. Secluded from modern technological conveniences and city lights, we have a great chance to marvel at the Northern Lights in the darkness of winter. Our dinner today will consist of simple freeze-dried foods that are easy to carry on such an expedition. We look forward to an unforgettable experience amidst the endless ice.

  • Day 6 A Day On The Greenland Ice Sheet

      A Day On The Greenland Ice Sheet

      After an adventurous night snuggled in our warm and thick sleeping bags, itโ€™s time to prepare ourselves for the day ahead with a high-energy breakfast. Today we embark on an exciting route across the seemingly eternal ice fields and set our sights on the Greenland Ice Sheet. The route will definitely be planned through safe terrain and crampons and trekking poles will give us extra support and security. Depending on the weather, we will eat our lunch either en route or at base camp before heading back to civilization.

  • Day 7 Tundra Wildlife Tour And Liquor Tasting

      Tundra Wildlife Tour And Liquor Tasting

      After our breakfast we will pack a small lunch box and leave our hostel. We will go on the Tundra Wildlife Tour, where we will have a chance to spot reindeer or musk oxen in their natural habitat. If we make it, we will round off the tour with a panoramic view of Kangerlussuaqโ€™s valleys and rivers, which we can enjoy from Tacan Mountain on a clear day.


      Tonight we will make our way to a local restaurant for our farewell dinner and also to sample a few different local liquors.

  • Day 8 Goodbye Greenland
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Goodbye Greenland

      Today it is time to say goodbye. After breakfast we will go to the airport, as it is located less than 100m from our accommodation. Now you can take your flight back home or to any next destination. We would be very happy to welcome you again on one of our adventures! See you soon.
