      Welcome to Montreal, the second largest city in Canada, and the second largest French-speaking city (as a mother tongue) in the world, after Paris. Arrival at the hotel Saint - André on your own (arrival transfer: airport - hotel not included). At approximately 6:00 pm, meet your fellow travelers and your guide for a welcome briefing.

      After breakfast, enjoy a walk around the city. Discover Montreal on a walking tour, which will be full of art and history. Admire the English and French architecture that is present in the city; listen to the most iconic stories on your tour, and take advantage of everything this wonderful city has to offer. In the evening, meet up with the rest of the group.

      In the morning, you leave on the route Le Chemin du Roy ("the king's road"), the first road opened to vehicles between Quebec City and Montreal that was completed in 1737. On the way you arrive in Trois-Rivières. You walk through its historic districts where the houses have survived three centuries of history. In the evening, you arrive at the Jacques-Cartier National Park. The accommodation will be in ecological cabins inside the park; enjoy a dinner with barbecue and meeting with your group.

      In the morning, explore the park or choose to do some of the available outdoor activities: hiking, kayaking, biking, standing oar, wildlife watching, etc (not included). Then, continue to Saguenay, a city known as the gateway to the Saguenay Fjord; see its main attractions, and take an optional lunch there (not included). In the evening, you will arrive at your accommodation on the shore of the Saguenay Fjord.

  • Day 5 Saguenay Fjord – Tadoussac

      Saguenay Fjord – Tadoussac

      In the morning, after breakfast, explore the area and do some optional outdoor activities (not included). Afterwards, you can explore the northern part of the fjord and discover its extraordinary land and sea environment full of wildlife. It is also dotted with picturesque villages, some of which are designated as the most beautiful in Quebec, for example, Sainte-Rose-du-Nord, which you also visit. You will stop at Sainte-Marguerite Bay, one of the best places in the region to see belugas from the shore. In the afternoon, after a picturesque walk to the beluga whale observation point in Sainte-Marguerite Bay, you arrive at Tadoussac, a small and charming village on the St. Lawrence River known for being a great observation point for marine mammals. Upon arrival take an orientation walk through the village. In the evening, meet the group.

      In the morning, you can optionally go whale watching from a boat (not included) or join your guide and try your luck at Cap-de-Bon-Désir, a natural deep-water rock that attracts whales and other aquatic mammals. In the afternoon, after a photo stop in the local dunes, take a ferry to cross the Saguenay River and take the San Lorenzo Route, a 58 km road that crosses picturesque villages and offers magnificent views of the river and nearby mountains. On the way, before entering Quebec City, you visit the impressive sanctuary of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, which welcomes nearly one million visitors annually. Afterwards, enjoy seeing Montmorency Falls which are higher than Niagara Falls. Arrival in the afternoon in Quebec City.
