Itinerary

Day 1: Almaty city tour

Stop At: Park Named After Panfilov’s 28 Guardsmen, Almaty Kazakhstan
The tour starts with sightseeing in central part of Almaty. You will know more about history and development of the Southern capital of Kazakhstan and see its major attractions. The tour will continue in one of the oldest Almaty parks - Panfilov Park, where one of the most beautiful wooden buildings in the world - Zenkov Cathedral is located. You will also visit the Memorial of Glory and Eternal Flame, dedicated to the memory of the fighters who died for freedom and independence of the country.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Almaty Central Park, St. Gogol 1, Almaty 050002 Kazakhstan
Afterwards, you are going to visit Green Bazaar.
You will visit a popular place for locals- the Green Bazaar, where it is impossible to refrain from shopping. It is the great chance to experience an atmosphere of the real eastern market, its colors, smells and crowds. There you can obtain famous Oriental sweets, but don't forget to bargain...

Stop At: Medeu Skating Rink and Ski resort, Gornaya St., 465 Medeu Valley, Almaty Kazakhstan
After exploration of sport, cultural and business areas of the city you will get to the Medeo Gorge, well known due to the highest mountain skating rink in the world and the dam, protecting the city from dangerous mudflow.
Duration: 3 hours

Day 2: Altyn Emel National Park

Stop At: Altyn-Emel, Almaty Kazakhstan
Early morning departure to the Altyn Emel National Park (300 km from Almaty).
Arrival to "Basshy" village. Check-in at the guesthouse (DBL/Standard accommodation) and departure to Singing dunes (40 km from village).
Duration: 5 hours

Stop At: Singing Barkhan, National Park Altyn Emel Kazakhstan
By noon we arrive to so-called Singing Barkhan (Dunes). The dune is composed of light-colored sand and has a length of about 3 km and a height of 150 m. In dry weather sands emit a sound similar an organ melody. Since ancient times this place was considered supernatural. The legends explained the sound by the activities of the desert spirits, mythical animals, the bells of buried towns, underground rivers etc.

Day 3: Charyn Canyon

Stop At: Charyn Canyon, Charyn National Park, Charyn River Kazakhstan
After breakfast we depart to Charyn canyon.
The canyon has been described as the Grand canyon’s little brother and is considered to be the floor of the ancient ocean Tethys. The erosion made by the river Charyn below and the elements created a dramatic and impressive landscape. The Charyn canyon itself is approximately 150 km and in some places up to 300 m deep.

Day 4: Trip from Baschy village to Jyrgalan village (Kyrgyzstan)

Pass By: Karkara Valley, Karakol Kyrgyzstan
Right after early breakfast we will move towards Kyrgyzstan, to pass the Karkara border point and head to the famous Jyrgalan Valley

Stop At: Jyrgalan Valley Trekking/Freeride Skiing, Asanbaev st., 3, Karakol 722360 Kyrgyzstan
At Jyrgalan we will stop at local guesthouse. The same day we do some soft hiking and horse riding.
Duration: 3 hours

Accommodation included: Overnight at Jyrgalan local guesthouse

Day 5: Moving to Bokonbaevo village via Karakol and visits to Barskoon Gorge and waterfall

Pass By: Karakol Cattle Market, Karakol Kyrgyzstan
While driving to Bokonbaevo village, we will pass some historical venues of the Karakol city.

Stop At: Barskoon Gorge, Barskoon Kyrgyzstan
Not far from Bokonbaevo village there is a Barskoon Gorge with wonderful waterfall sceneries.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Canyon Fairy Tale, Tosor Kyrgyzstan
Before we arrive to our final point, Bokonbaevo village, we are going to walk through Martian landscapes of Issyk-Kul lake, the Fairy Tale Canyon. Which has amazing views on the lake and inner canyons.
Duration: 50 minutes

Day 6: Final day. Driving from Bokonbaevo village to Bishkek via Burana Tower

Stop At: Burana Tower, Don-Aryk, Tokmok 722201 Kyrgyzstan
After seeing the Eagle hunting show at Bokonbaevo village we will be off to Burana Tower, which as around 80 km before Bishkek city.
Duration: 1 hour

Pass By: Bishkek-City, Suyumbayeva, 142/2, Bishkek 720000 Kyrgyzstan
Our final destination is in Bishkek or the Manas International Airport. Depending on you plans.
