  • Day 1 Port Mcneill
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Port Mcneill

      (Friday) Individual arrival in Port McNeill and transfer on your own to your accommodation. In the evening you will meet your Kingfisherโ€™s contact person in the Kingfisherโ€™s office next door at around 8 pm to receive more detailed information about the itinerary and activities for the next few days. One night at the hotel in Port McNeill.



  • Day 2 Day 2: Port Mcneill - Kingfisherโ€™S Base Camp
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 2: Port Mcneill - Kingfisherโ€™S Base Camp

      (Saturday) In the morning around 8.30 a.m. you will meet again at Kingfisherโ€™s Office and transfer by water cab to Kingfisherโ€™s Base Camp (approx. 50 min.). There your guide will give you a short guided tour and expert instruction on how to use the kayak. The camp has a kitchen, dining room, safari-style shower and spacious canvas tents. After lunch, you will go on a kayak tour where you can get used to the kayaks and observe the diverse wildlife. 3 nights at Kingfisherโ€™s Base Camp (basic facilities). (lunch, dinner)



  • Day 3 Days 3-4: Whale Watching By Kayak
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Days 3-4: Whale Watching By Kayak

      (Sunday-Monday) Peaceful killer whales cavort right next to your accommodation. There is also a feeding area for humpback whales, many of which are fed within sight of the camp. The many islands near the camp are home to numerous seabirds, bald eagles and seals. Your guide will tailor each day based on weather conditions, wildlife sighting opportunities and your own interests. You will spend the days exploring the area by kayak, spotting impressive whales and enjoying the Canadian wildlife and scenery. Lunches are usually taken on a secluded beach before returning to the comfort of Kingfisherโ€™s Base Camp in the late afternoon. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)



  • Day 4 Day 5: Bear Watching - Port Mcneill
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 5: Bear Watching - Port Mcneill


      (Tuesday) You will be picked up by Sea Wolf Adventures by boat at around 7 am to go on an exciting bear watching trip. You will hike a short distance and then wait quietly to see the fascinating grizzly bears up close. Your First Nations guide will tell you about the history, wildlife and beauty of the land and will adjust the area depending on the best viewing opportunities. Guaranteed to be an experience you wonโ€™t soon forget! Return by water cab to Port McNeill around 5 pm and individual departure. (Breakfast, lunch)
