Meals

Arranging great culinary experiences is a specialty we are very proud of. Before a restaurant is selected for our itinerary, our development team spends countless hours sampling dozens of restaurants for comparison. On this trip, you will have a chance to taste traditional Kaiseki banquets, modern fusion cuisine, Fugu (blowfish), Udon, Sashimi, Anago(conger eel) and much more!

Not Included in the Land Tour Price Airport pickup and sendoff for pre/post tour. Gratuities to your Tour Director, driver, and shipsโ€™ crew. Suggested at $80.00 per person at the end of the tour. Laundry, in-room telephone international roaming; mini bar; alcohol, beverages at hotel, ship, or restaurant. Porterage at airports; excess baggage fees; and all other items of a personal nature not outlined in the tour itinerary. Amendments after Departure The cost of any changes or additions will be at the local rate at the time of the amendment, not per the Supera Tours Inc. website or brochure, and must be borne by the passenger. Changes are subject to a $50 processing fee plus any associated costs charged by suppliers such as airlines, rail companies, or hotels. Unutilized Service Any unutilized tour features either on air transportation or for land arrangements are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

      Iwakuni Kintaikyo Bridge: Travel across one of the tremendous engineering feats of its time. The wooden bridge stretched over 570 feet and was built without a single nail.

      Miyajima Ropeway: To enjoy magnificent views of the Seto Inland Sea from Mt. Misen, a holy mountain on Miyajima, hop aboard the cable car here for stunning view of the vast sea and sky before you.

      Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park: โ€œThose who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.โ€โ€”George Santayana. Encounter history at a profound memorial including the Hypocenter, A-Bomb Dome, and the Museum, dedicated to the preservation of peace.  

      Free Time: Hiroshimaโ€™s small-town feel makes it an ideal place to experience local cuisine independently (with the help of our suggestions of course!).

      Shimanami Kaido Expressway: Travel across the Seto Inland Sea on a seaside bike tour or visit the Kosanji Temple, a Buddhist temple built to resemble many of Japanโ€™s most famous temples.

      Kotohira-gu Shrine: Ascend 1,368 stone steps for an excellent birdโ€™s eye view of the Sanuki Plain at your feet. A visit here is considered a must-do for many Japanese people.

      Great Seto Bridge Memorial Park: Get a close-up view of the worldโ€™s longest two-tiered bridge. Spanning over eight miles, this monumental engineering feat is comprised of six consecutive bridges connecting five islands in the Seto Inland Sea. 

      Mt. Washu Observatory: Cross the Great Seto Bridge to Mt. Washuzan Lookout Point for spectacular views of the Seto Inland Sea and the Great Seto Bridge. 

      Free time: Experience the historic town of Kurashiki Bikan area in Kurashiki within walking distance. The city offers a blend of the traditional Edo-period and modern Western influence against the backdrop of beautiful canals. Take some time and browse through local boutiques and cafes in the historical quarter or travel down the canal on a boat.

      Art House Project: Visit a fascinating art installation in Naoshimaโ€™s Honmura district - a collection of seven reclaimed homes repurposed into surprising works of art.

      Chichu Art Museum: Designed by acclaimed Japanese architect, Mr. Tadao Ando, this unique art museum is constructed mostly underground to avoid disrupting beautiful natural scenery of the surrounding Seto Inland Sea.

      Lee Ufan Museum: One of the more recent additions to Naoshima, this small, contemplative gallery features works by the Korean contemporary artist Lee Ufan.

      Himeji Castle: Explore the grounds of one of the best-preserved castles and a national treasure of Japan. (In the case of closure, we will visit Okayama Korakuen Garden, one of the Three Great Gardens of Japan.)

      Arima Onsen: Arima is one of Japanโ€™s top three hot springs towns and one of the oldest. Enjoy a quintessential Japanese experience here with luxurious tatami-floored rooms, breathtaking scenery, and indulge in relaxing hot springs.
