      Arrival in Amman

Welcome to Jordan! A tour representative will pick you up at the Queen Alia International Airport (AMM).  It is necessary to inform your guide of your flight schedule at least 30 days before your arrival.

Take some time to arrive, check into your hotel room, and have a first experience of the delightful Jordanian cuisine. Depending on when your flight arrived, you will even have some time to explore Amman.

Amman is one of the oldest cities in the world, which has been inhabited since the Bronze Age. It is the capital of Jordan and even though it has grown and become modern, its traditions, culture, and generosity of the locals persist.

      Meals: No.

Accommodation: Nomads Hotel (02 stars) or similar – Doble shared room.

Note: Timings in the itinerary are approximate.

  • Day 2 Hike and Splash at Wadi Mujib – Little Petra

Hike and Splash at Wadi Mujib – Little Petra

After breakfast, travel around an hour to Wadi Mujib for your first hiking adventure. Enjoy beautiful views over the Dead Sea, and get ready for a self-guided hike on the Siq Trail: 2-3 hours of climbing, splashing, hiking, sliding, and jumping through a stunning gorge.

Follow the course of the river between towering sandstone cliffs to the base of a large waterfall. Depending on seasonal rainfall levels, there might even be pools deep enough to swim.

  • Day 3 Hiking the Siq trail – Petra - Wadi Rum

Hiking the Siq trail – Petra - Wadi Rum

Get ready to enter the ancient Nabataean of Petra via the Back Door’ avoiding most other tourists. Amidst high sandstone mountains, a good track leads down Wadi Ghurab; after 2 km, you'll see a high mountain peak.

Continue hiking about 3 km through the way that follows a Nabataean route out of the valley, and skirts around the final mountain on a natural rock terrace which has been improved for the safety of walkers.

Then, find narrows slightly on the path before reaching a hidden plateau high above the impressive chasm of Wadi Siyyagh. Just beyond, the Monastery (Ad Deir) suddenly comes into view.

  • Day 4 Wadi Rum – Hike Jabal Umm Ad-Dami

Wadi Rum – Hike Jabal Umm Ad-Dami

Prepare yourself to summit Jordan's highest peak - Jabal Umm ad-Dami. After breakfast and a long jeep ride through the stunning desert landscape (approx. 1hr), reach the foot of the mountain.

The hiking path is very steep and a little strenuous, but overall, it's a moderate hike: it will only take you about 2-3 hours to get to the top and back down again (depending on your level of fitness of course).

Reach the peak, where you will see - the stunning desert views were absolutely worth every effort.

Standing at an altitude of 1854m above sea level, gain a whole new perspective of the breathtaking landscape surrounding you. To the South, you can see across a wide mountain panorama far into Saudi Arabia, to the North you can spot Rum Village and the famous Seven Pillars of Wisdom at the horizon.

  • Day 5 Dead Sea Experience – Amman

    • 7:00 am - 4:00 pm

      Dead Sea Experience – Amman

After an early breakfast, the transportation will drive for about 3 and a half hours back up North, to the shores of the Dead Sea. The lowest point on earth.

Take time to float in the salty waters, try out the magical Dead Sea mud, relax by the pool, or pamper yourself to some spa treatments; the perfect way to end the trip.

As a matter of fact, it was named the Dead Sea because no living creature can survive the extremely salty and bitter water. It borders Israel, West Bank, and Jordan.

  • Day 6 Amman – Departure

      Amman – Departure
