They are located in the cities we visit, most of them not in the city center but all of them with easy access to public transportation nearby. Our accommodation is not based on luxury hotels. Please keep in mind that standards, bed sizes and room dimensions can vary between hotels of the same class in different locations. All rooms are equipped with private bathroom and TV. Some of them also offer a mini-bar, safe box, and hair dryer. Many hotels, mainly in North Europe, do not have air conditioning or local legislation establishes limited dates of use.

      Welcome to your tour with Europamundo! Weโ€™ll transfer you to the hotel and youโ€™ll have some free time. In the afternoon, youโ€™ll find information about the start of your tour on the boards located at the hotel reception.

  • Day 2 Day 2: Lisbon

      In the morning, weยดll embark on a sightseeing tour of Lisbon, exploring the Portuguese capital of the seven hills, with its charming alleys, iconic tiles, the feeling of "saudade," and the beautiful Atlantic light. Weโ€™ll also visit the Belem neighborhood, from where the great Portuguese navigators set sail to cross the oceans in the 15th century. Free time in the afternoon to walk and go to the Bairro Alto and its viewpoint; if youโ€™d like to, you could take an optional trip to the towns of Sintra, Cascais and Estoril. In the evening, weโ€™ll return to the hotel from the lively Restauradores Square, filled with vibrant bars and cafes.

      Weโ€™ll depart from Portugal early, crossing the picturesque region of Alentejo. Weโ€™ll stop for a coffee in Estremoz, a charming town with a medieval castle, cobblestone streets, beautiful architecture, and a peaceful atmosphere that embody the Portuguese identity. Continuing our journey towards Spain, weโ€™ll arrive in Cรกceres, where you can enjoy lunch and a stroll through its historic centerโ€”an exceptionally well-preserved medieval and Renaissance urban complex. Finally, weโ€™ll proceed to Madrid, arriving in the evening with a transfer to Plaza Mayor, bustling with restaurants and vibrant life.

      The morning will begin with a comprehensive tour of central Madrid, featuring highlights like Paseo del Prado, Cibeles, Neptuno, Puerta de Alcalรก, Plaza de Colรณn, and Plaza Mayor. Weโ€™ll then visit Retiro Park, a beautiful oasis in the city center, where weโ€™ll see the lake and the Palacio de Cristal. Admission is included to the Santiago Bernabรฉu Stadium, the home of Real Madridโ€”considered by many to be the best football club in the world. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon at your leisure. In the evening, weโ€™ll provide a return transfer to the hotel.

      In the morning, weโ€™ll leave for Aragon, travelling through the lands of Castile. Our first stop will be in Zaragoza to admire the stunning Cathedral-Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar. Weโ€™ll then journey to the serene Poblet Abbey, one of the best-preserved medieval monasteries in the world (tickets included). Finally, weโ€™ll head to Barcelona, where weโ€™ll arrive in the evening.

      In the morning, weยดll embark on a panoramic tour of Barcelona, renowned as one of the most fascinating European capitals. This vibrant city, nestled along the Mediterranean Sea, is famous for Gaudiโ€™s modernist architecture, the bustling Ramblas, and its rich history, highlighted by the Universal Exposition and the Olympics hosted here. Youยดll have free time in the afternoon. In the evening, weยดll provide a transfer to Maremagnum, a contemporary entertainment and dining complex by the sea, located near Plaza de Colรณn. Here, you can enjoy a leisurely stroll through the lively area and choose from a variety of dining options.

      At the scheduled time, weโ€™ll provide a transfer to the station for your high-speed train journey from Barcelona to Paris, which is included in your trip. In just over 6 hours of comfortable travel, youโ€™ll arrive at your destination. Upon arrival, another transfer will take you to your hotel. Your guide will contact you in the evening, or you can check the information signs provided at the hotel reception.Note: The train journey will be without an Europamundo guide.

      Weโ€™ll immerse ourselves in the rich history of France at the magnificent Palace of Versailles (admission not included), renowned for its stunning gardens. On our return to Paris, weโ€™ll visit Montmartre, where a cable car (included) will take us up to this charming bohemian neighborhood, famous for its artists, painters, and cabarets. To fully appreciate the grandeur of Paris, weโ€™ll embark on a panoramic city tour with a local guide, showcasing the cityโ€™s impressive avenues and iconic monuments. Afterward, weโ€™ll return to the hotel. For those interested, there is an optional variety show in the evening.โ€‹

      Weโ€™ll start our day in central Paris, beginning with a visit to the iconic Eiffel Tower. Youยดll have the chance to go up to the second floor of this famous iron landmark (tickets included). Afterwards, weโ€™ll enjoy a relaxing boat cruise along the Seine. Youโ€™ll have a free afternoon to explore the city at your own pace.Around 4:00 p.m., weโ€™ll depart Paris and head to Normandy, arriving in Rouen. Youยดll have free time to explore the historic center of this vibrant city, which dates back to Roman times and boasts charming medieval architecture and an impressive Gothic cathedral, offering a delightful blend of history and culture.Note: If wait times at the Eiffel Tower are too long, we might reschedule the visit to a different time (or on Sunday) for your convenience.

      Today, weโ€™ll have time to take a stroll through the center of Rouen. After this, weโ€™ll travel to northern France. Crossing the English Channel by ferry, weโ€™ll reach Canterbury, the religious capital of England, known for its charming historic center. Our journey will continue to London, where youโ€™ll have some free time in the Tower Bridge area, one of the cityยดs most iconic symbols, before we head to the hotel.

      Discover London on a panoramic tour with a local guide that showcases the cityโ€™s culture and history. Youโ€™ll see famous sites such as the Parliament, the River Thames, and Buckingham Palace, where you might witness the iconic Changing of the Guard (depending on the dates). In the evening, weโ€™ll establish a meeting point in Piccadilly to take a stroll through Leicester Square, Chinatown, and Soho, areas renowned for their lively atmosphere, theaters, and entertainment options. Youโ€™ll have plenty of restaurants to choose from for dinner before we return to the hotel.

      In the morning, weโ€™ll visit the British Museum, one of the worldยดs oldest museums, where weโ€™ll see traces of cultures from all around the world. At lunchtime, after some free time, weโ€™ll head to Camden, a district renowned for its vibrant and eclectic street market. There, you can explore unique items and artifacts from around the globe and enjoy lunch at one of its little restaurants or food stands.Around 4:00 p.m., weโ€™ll depart for Colchester, the oldest recorded town in England, and enjoy a leisurely stroll through its historic streets. Weโ€™ll then continue to Harwich to board the ferry for an overnight voyage to the Netherlands, staying in en suite cabins.Important note: Due to the limited number of cabins available on the ferry, the itinerary may be adjusted. We might travel from London to Amsterdam via a daytime ferry, with an overnight stay in Antwerp, or alternatively, take a train or flight to Amsterdam.

      Around 8:00 a.m., weโ€™ll arrive in Hoek van Holland (Hook of Holland) and make a stop in Volendam, a picturesque fishing village. Then, weโ€™ll travel to Amsterdam for a panoramic tour of the city, where weโ€™ll see its most iconic landmarks. Weโ€™ll also see the famous diamond-cutting technique. For dinner, weโ€™ll provide a transfer to Rembrandtplein, a vibrant area filled with restaurants offering cuisine from all over the world, and located near the famous Red Light District, known for its diverse nightlife.
