      After breakfast at your hotel in Kampala / Entebbe, you embark on the drive to Fort Portal Area 300km about 5 โ€“ 6 hoursโ€™ drive. You will drive through impressive scenic landscapes on smooth tarmac viewing the unique geographical features including the Mubende Inselbergs not forgetting the small towns en route including Mpigi, Mityana, Mubende and Kyenjojo. 


      You arrive in Fort Portal, you are welcomed by the local inhabitants of the place with deep understanding and history of the place. Withdrawal from this encounter and embark on the hike to the Fort Portal Crater Lake field where you traverse the challenging slopes of Kyeganywa hill surrounded by a range of crater lakes and crater hollows presenting one of the beautiful scenic sites in Uganda. The top of Kyeganywa hill offers the views of Rwenzori Mountains on a clear day. Retreat from the activity and transfer to Kibale National Park 26km from Fort Portal town for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

      Chimpanzee Trekking, Bigodi Wetland Walk And Transfer To Kasese

      Gather at Kanyanchu Tourism Center in Kibale National Park to catch up with Chimpanzee trekking which begins at 8am. The encounter commences with a briefing from the respective park rangers who will be your guides through the activity detailing the conduct of the exercise. After this, you head to the forest in search of the manโ€™s closest relative. Note that other than chimps, Kibale also supports other 12 Primate Species including the threatened red colobus with the highest population thriving in Kibale, the rare Iโ€™Hoestโ€™s monkey, black-and-white colobus, grey-cheeked mangabey, red-tailed and blue monkeys, bush baby, olive baboon and potto which may be viewed during the trek. After the encounter filled with unforgettable excitement where you are free to take as many photos as you can, retreat from the activity which tend to last 2 โ€“ 5 hours and get back to the starting point where you will rejoin your Friendly Gorilla safari guide, settle for your packed lunch after which you transfer to Kasese arriving in the evening for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

      Do Whole Day Mount Rwenzori Climbing

      Gather at Nyakalengija ranger post to start the Mount Rwenzori hike at 8am. Organized by the Rwenzori Mountaineering Services that manages the central circuit, the Rwenzori hike is a daylong encounter enabling you to explore the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains in detail. The Rwenzori Mountains stand as the third highest in Africa rising to 5,109m above sea level with snowcapped peaks. The day long exploration to the legendary mountains of the moon presents magical sights of the Rwenzori ridges, the rift valley lakes below including Lake Edward and Lake George, the savannah stretches of Queen Elizabeth National Park and the panoramic view of Kasese town. Retire at 5pm for relaxation, dinner and overnight at your favorite lodge.

  • Day 4 Queen Elizabeth National Park Game Drive And An Afternoon Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

      Queen Elizabeth National Park Game Drive And An Afternoon Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

      After an early breakfast from your hotel, set off at 6am and connect to the park to embark on the game drive activity at 7am exploring the magical wildlife of Queen Elizabeth National Park. You drive through Kasenyi plains exploring the Kobโ€™s mating ground and the extensive grassland and woodland that supports a myriad of wild game including the Cape Buffaloes, the African elephants, Defassa Waterbucks, Bushbucks, the Uganda Kobs, the side stripped jackal, the leopard, spotted hyenas, the lions among other species. Retreat from the 3 โ€“ 4 hour activity and connect to the lodge for relaxation and lunch after which you connect to the Mweya jetty for an afternoon Kazinga Channel boat cruise for possible sight of herds of Hippos, the Nile crocodiles, the water birds on the shores and a range of wild game drinking water from the channel. Upon retreating from the cruise, you embark on a mini game drive along the channel track in the Mweya peninsular as you connect to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

      Transfer To Bwindi Impenetrable National Park With Ishasha Game Drive En Route In Search Of Tree Climbing Lions

      After breakfast at 7am, you embark on the transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park 218km Ruhija and 309km Rushaga depending on the lodge selected. You undertake a notable game drive in Ishasha sector in the south of Queen Elizabeth National Park in search of the famous tree climbing lions and other wildlife like water bucks, buffaloes, kobs and elephants. 


      The fig tree branches of Ishasha present memorable day beds for the lions which derives a unique encounter with the Kings of the Jungle in the wilderness of Uganda. Retreat from the drive and continue on the drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park arriving in the evening for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

      Bwindi Gorilla Trekking And An Evening Boat Ride In Lake Bunyonyi

      ettle for breakfast at 6am and connect to the respective park headquarter to catch up with the briefing at 8am about the conduct of gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. In the company of the ranger guides very armed for protection against any wild attack, you traverse the forest marked by lush flora, magical birds and other fauna like duikers in search of the impressive mountain gorillas where over 400 of them are known to be thriving in the impenetrable forest. The steep hills intercepted by deep valleys and streams present challenging hike which is an experience of itself. The one hour with the gorillas is magical as you see them forage, socialize, the young ones play and the silverback demonstrating its might luring you to take as many photos as you can. Retreat from this activity which can take 2 โ€“ 8 hours depending on the gorilla movements and connect to Lake Bunyonyi 52km from Ruhija and 73km from Rushaga driving through the fascinating Kigezi Highlands with magical sceneries. Upon arrival, you embark on the boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyi exploring the famous lake of a thousand Islands a dub that it has acquired because of its 29 Islands. You can also visit the Batwa people on one of the Islands to explore their traditions before retiring for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

  • Day 7 Transfer To Kampala

      Transfer To Kampala

      After breakfast, embark on the 437km about 7 hours transfer to Kampala making a stop at Igongo Cultural Center to visit the Erijukiro Museum which features a range of artifacts of all tribes of south western Uganda and then continue on the drive to Kampala. Another stop is made at the Uganda Equator crossing Kayabwe for impressive photo shoots and water experiments that justify the geographical divide between the north and southern hemispheres. You can visit any of the gift shops to get yourself a souvenir to take back home.

      Transfer To Jinja, Do Half Day White Water Rafting And Afternoon Bungee Jumping

      Transfer to Jinja early in the morning 80km about 2 hoursโ€™ drive from Kampala to catch up with the white water rafting on the famous Nile River the longest on the African continent and the world at large. You get to you rafts with the team of expert guides to traverse the speedy waters clashing the ancient rapids to produce a plume of spray and powerful waves that hit you ruthlessly after encountering you on their way. Rafting on the Nile is a safe and adventurous encounter that qualifies to be among the active adventure vacation safari activities in Uganda. Retire from the Jinja adventure and return to Kampala/Entebbe where you will be dropped off.
