      Day 1

      Today we leave the Capital City of Scotland and start our drive north to the Scottish Highlands. As you travel over the Forth Road Bridge, you enter the Kingdom of Fife, where our first stop will be at Aberdour Castle, which is probably one of Scotlandโ€™s oldest standing castles, built in the 11th Century. Carry on to Perthshire, the heart of Scotland as its also known. With its many Glens and Forests, we will stop at some off the beaten track for some of those "Kodak" picture moments. Then we reach the Highlands of Scotland, the real Scotland that you dream about, and our homeland. Overnight in bed and breakfast in the Inverness area

      Day 2

      Today we explore the Highlands of Scotland, starting with the Capital City "Inverness". An ancient stronghold of the Picts and once visited by St Columba. Hear the history of this city. We will then visit Culloden, the last ever pitched battle to be held on British Soil. The battle that also changed the Highlands of Scotland forever. Hear all about this from our historian guide and the lasting effects it had on the Highland people. Overnight Bed and Breakfast in the Inverness Area

      Day 3

      Today we leave the Capital of the Highlands and travel down the shores of Loch Ness, stopping at Urquhart Castle, where you will hear all about over 1000 years of history and conflict it has seen. Carry on down the Great Glen stopping at Fort Augustus to see the canal locks. Onto Fort William, where we will stop to explore for a short time before carrying onto the scenic Glencoe, one of the most scenic and famous Highland Glens. Leaving Glencoe behind we travel across the Trossachs also known as the "Highlands in miniature" and the stomping ground of "Rob Roy MacGregor" one of Scotlandโ€™s many famous heroโ€™s. Finally reaching back to Edinburgh, we hope we having given you a short taste of the highlands. Be sure to return, as you will always be sure of a warm welcome. Turas math dhuidh!
