Day 1: Cape Town - Swellendam - Mossel Bay - Wilderness

Stop At: Peregrine Farm Stall, N 2 Highway, Grabouw 7160 South Africa
We'll stop at the Peregrine Farm Stall in the Elgin Valley for their famous pies and coffee.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Swellendam, Swellendam, Overberg District, Western Cape
We'll stop in Swellendam to stretch our legs. Swellendam is the 3rd oldest town in South Africa with many historical buildings lining the main street.

Stop At: Mossel Bay, Mossel Bay, Western Cape
Idyllically set along the Garden Route on South Africaโ€™s spectacularly scenic coastline, the port town Mossel Bay has rapidly grown from its days as a little fishing village. Today it is a thriving holiday resort town boasting a large bay edged by long sandy beaches. We visit the 19th-century Cape St. Blaize Lighthouse.
Optional activity: Worlds longest over-the-sea zipline at Mossel Bay Point.

Stop At: Wilderness, Wilderness, Western Cape
Situated along South Africaโ€™s spectacularly scenic Garden Route, the seaside resort town of Wilderness is renowned for its vast stretches of beach and its tranquil beauty. Wilderness is a popular water sport, hiking and birding destination. We'll explore the area on our ebikes. Views from the top of the Hoekville Pass are spectacular.

Day 2: Wilderness - Sedgefield - Knysna

Stop At: 7 Passes Scenic Drive, Knysna Phantom Pass to Saasveld George, Knysna 6570 South Africa
We'll cycle the 7 Passes scenic route towards Knysna, which was built in 1867 by the famous roadbuilder, Thomas Bain.

Stop At: Sedgefield, Sedgefield, Knysna, Western Cape
Sedgefield is a little Garden Route village between Wilderness and Knysna and we'll stop here for well deserved refreshments after our ride.

Stop At: Knysna Heads, Coney Glen Road, Knysna 6571 South Africa
The Knysna heads are two graceful yet formidable cliffs standing at the edge of the ocean, guarding the entrance to the Knysna lagoon.

Stop At: The Waterfront Knysna Quays, 21 Waterfront Drive, Knysna 6571 South Africa
We'll visit Knysna's "Waterfront" where you can have dinner at one of the many restaurants and walk around the marina, with its beautiful yachts. You can also do an optional Sunset Cruise to Featherbed Nature Reserve and the Heads.

Day 3: Knysna - Tsitsikamma - Stormsriver

Stop At: Harkerville, Harkerville, Plettenberg Bay, Western Cape
After breakfast we'll spend the morning exploring the trails of the Harkerville Forest between Knysna and Plettenberg Bay.
The Harkerville Trail offers a range of routes suited to all levels of riders. Four colour-coded routes, ranging from an easy family ride to fast-flowing singletrack meander through shady plantations, costal fynbos and indigenous forest.

After our ride we'll stop in at the coastal resort of Plettenberg Bay for lunch and a walk on the beach if time allows.

Stop At: Bloukrans Bridge, N2, Tsitsikamma National Park South Africa
For the adrenalin junkies, we can stop at the Bloukrans Bridge where you can step off for the world's highest bridge bungee jump!
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Storms River Suspension Bridge, Tsitsikamma National Park South Africa
At the Tsitsikamma National Park and others nearby, adrenaline-junkies delight in ample opportunities for canopying, ziplining, tubing, bungee jumping, kayaking, snorkelling, segway riding, cycling, and hiking through the bright green, wildlife-rich jungles, rivers and sea.

Day 4: Tsitsikamma - Oudtshoorn - Calitzdorp - Rooiberg Lodge - Little Karoo

Leaving the Garden Route, we ascend the Outeniqua Mountains into the Little Karoo and Oudtshoorn.

Pass By: Oudtshoorn, Oudtshoorn, Western Cape
Known as "The Ostrich Capital of the World", we join the Route 62 and travel westward towards Calitzdorp.

Stop At: Calitzdorp, Calitzdorp, Western Cape
The Karoo town of Caltizdorp snuggles between the Outeniqua, Swartberg and Rooiberg mountains and is also know as the fortified wine capital of South Africa. Karoo architecture is prevalent in the town.

Stop At: Rooiberg Pass, Calitzdorp South Africa
En-route to Rooiberg Lodge we'll cycle over the Rooiberg pass with its spectacular views over the Klein "Little" Karoo. From the summit of the pass, there is a 20km descent down to the lodge.

The lodge offers its guests the opportunity to kick-back, relax and enjoy the unspoiled beauty of the Little Karoo. Surrounded by an astonishing floral kingdom, together with an abundance of wildlife and bird life boasts the acceptance of the internationally recognised Gouritz Initiative conservation program, will please all nature lovers.

Day 5: Rooiberg Lodge - Route 62 - Swellendam - Cape Town

Stop At: Barrydale, Barrydale, Overberg District, Western Cape
From Rooiberg Lodge we cycle on good gravel roads towards Barrydale where fabulous refreshments await us at the Diesel & Creme Diner. Route 62 is the longest Wine Route in the world. Lush greenery and fertile valleys form a stark contrast against the semi-desert of the Klein Karoo while towering mountains and their rivers and streams provide an awe-inspiring backdrop throughout. Some of the renowned attractions visitors will spot as they follow the route are the Winelands of the Breede River Valley, the majestic Swartberg Mountains and the fruit orchards of the Langkloof Valley.

Pass By: Swellendam, Swellendam, Overberg District, Western Cape
From Route 62 we descend via the Tradouw Pass to Swellendam, the third oldest town in South Africa, and continue along the N2 to drop you off safely at your lodge or guesthouse in Cape Town.
