  • Day 1 Day 1: Arrival In Dingle

      Day 1: Arrival In Dingle

      Arrive to the vibrant fishing port of Dingle on the western tip of the Dingle Peninsula for your first night. This is a โ€œlivelyโ€ town, with plenty of excellent restaurants and great pubs. Traditional Irish music can be found in the pubs most nights of the week throughout the year.Access to Dingle is via a bus service from either Tralee or Killarney, with all details available on www.buseireann.ie

  • Day 2 Day 2: Hike Dingle To Dunquin
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 2: Hike Dingle To Dunquin

      Todayโ€™s hike starts just outside Dingle, passing the Early Christian site of Kilcolman andcontinuing to the glorious Ventry Beach. From here you continue following the โ€œDingle Wayโ€ on a beautiful and very historic hike around Slea Head. Along your route you will pass very close to some ancient & famous โ€˜beehive hutsโ€™ and enjoy wonderful views of the Blasket Islands. Your hike finishes in Dunquin where you can learn more about the history of the Blasket Islands if you wish. A taxi transfers you to the start of your hike today & collects you from the finish. Overnight in Dingle.


      Walk Details: Approx. Distance โ€“ 18.10km | Height gain - 501m | Height loss - 525m | Max Height - 178m | Min Height - 1m. Terrain: Rocky and grass tracks, beach walking and some road walking. Boots essential.

  • Day 3 Day 3: Hike Cuas To Cloghane
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 3: Hike Cuas To Cloghane

      A taxi will take you to the tiny hamlet of Tiduff where your hike begins. From here, you will be following an old military road to the eastern side of the Brandon massif, finishing in the village of Cloghane. This is a remote and very spectacular walk โ€“ full of history and through country only accessible on foot. Overnight in Cloghane.


      Walk Details: Approx. Distance โ€“ 17.30km | Height gain - 774m | Height loss - 796m | Max Height - 655 m | Min Height - 10m Terrain: Grass mountain tracks with some rocky sections. Gravel tracks and some road walking. Boots essential.

  • Day 4 Day 4: Hike Cloghane To Annascaul
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 4: Hike Cloghane To Annascaul

      Today you have a wonderful hike that takes you across the centre of the Dingle Peninsula from North to South, following a spectacular old farmerโ€™s track. You hike over a plateau, between mountains, passing a deserted famine village and descending to the glorious Annascaul Lake. From here, you continue on small โ€˜boreensโ€™ to reach the village of Annascaul with its links to the South Pole! Overnight in Annascaul.


      Walk Details: Approx. Distance โ€“ 13.10km | Height gain - 480m | Height loss - 499m | Max Height - 363m | Min Height - 26m Terrain: Grass mountain tracks with some rocky sections; can be damp.

      Boots recommended.

  • Day 5 Day 5: Depart Annascaul
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 5: Depart Annascaul

      After your final breakfast and farewell you follow your own arrangements for your onward journey. A bus service from Annascaul village will take you back to the town of Tralee where you can avail of excellent train & bus services. If required, we will happily arrange a private transfer for you at a small additional cost
