Built in classical style, following elements of traditional and rustic design, our location retains the charm of a bygone age, but with all modern facilities at hand and keeping a cosy, relaxing environment. We are looking forward to welcome you in our 8 rooms, with private bathrooms, air conditioning, TV cable, free Wi-Fi and central heating. You have access to free parking. You can also enjoy our small library or have a nice, quiet dinner on the patio.

  • Day 1 Arrival

      Arrival

      We give you a warm welcome to our guesthouse and the Danube Delta. After you have made yourself comfortable in your room you can take a stroll before dinner to see something of our village and visit the shores of the Danube, or just enjoy the facilities we have to offer in our accommodation.


      After dinner, over a glass of local wine, we will chat to you about what to expect during your stay. We will also run through some information about safety on our boat trips.

  • Day 2 Meet The Danube Delta!

      Meet The Danube Delta!

      After an early breakfast, we will take the five-minute walk to where our boat is moored. Our trip today will last about six hours.


      During the boat trip youโ€™ll have the chance to see lot of birds. With luck we will find Kingfishers, White-tailed Eagles, Pelicans, Purple, Grey and Squacco Herons, White and Little Egrets, Glossy ibis, and many other interesting species. We may also see an East Asian Raccoon Dog, wild cats, wild boar and Eurasian Otters.


      We return to the guesthouse for a lunch of traditional fish dishes, followed by a short rest. Later on, we recommend a walk in the Bestepe Hill Natural Reserve. This will offer you a beautiful panoramic view of the entire Danube Delta and its myriad landscapes. The reserve is a rare, protected area where steppe meadows can be found. The limestone and siliceous substrates of this area promote the growth of a wide range of plant species.


      If weather conditions are right you can enjoy and photograph a spectacular sunset from the Reserve.


      On your return to your accommodation, we will plan your activities for the next day and enjoy dinner.

  • Day 3 Lets Discover More!

      Lets Discover More!

      After breakfast we will explore some new areas of the Danube Delta and discover the beauty and wildlife of its lakes and channels. This is again a six-hour trip with a return to the guesthouse for lunch. With a glass of our traditional Romanian wine in hand, you can enjoy a chat with fellow guests about your sightings. The afternoon is for relaxation and perhaps a gentle walk.

  • Day 4 The Black Sea!

      The Black Sea!

      Today you will journey to see where the Danube River meets the Black Sea. If weather permits you can even enjoy a swim in the sea. There is an amount of travel on this day, but it will be one with a lot of nice surprises. You will see some more of the habitats for which the Danube Delta is famous - its dense forests with their lianes, and the biodiversity of its sand dunes.


      We return to the guesthouse for dinner and a chance to reminisce on the landscapes and species youโ€™ve seen over the past few days and think about what you want to do tomorrow.

  • Day 5 Your Choice!

      Your Choice!

      Today you make the choice of what you would like to do. Which aspect of the Danube Delta has thrilled you the most? Would you like to return to the forests, or visit the lakes one more time? Is there a particular species you have yet to see that you would like us to help you find? You dictate the schedule and we will do our best to oblige.

  • Day 6 Good By My Love!

      Good By My Love!

      After a leisurely breakfast itโ€™s time to depart, hopefully with many memories of the amazing Danube Delta.


      As we say our goodbyes, we hope you will return soon.
