Day 1: IRKUTSK (MEETING DAY)
Pass By: Irkutsk, Irkutsk Oblast, Russia
Morning/Night meeting in the airport with a nameplate โBaikal Visionโ. Transfer to the hotel. Check-in. Free time. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 2: IRKUTSK - OLKHON ISLAND
Stop At: Khuzhir, Khuzhir, Olkhon Island, Olkhonsky District, Irkutsk Oblast, Siberian District
Breakfast. Today we will have long day.
Meeting with your guide. Transfer to Khuzhir โ central village in Olkhon island. (300 km) En route we will stop in Ust-Orda village. On the way we will meet with a real shaman, who will sanctify your journey, will answer your questions. Visit the National Museum of Ethnography, where you will know about history and traditions of the Buryat people.
Lunch in buryat cuisine restaurant with the famous traditional meal - "buuzy".
Continuation a way to Khuzhir โ central village in Olkhon island. Today you will have an excursion around Khuzhir village: Shaman Rock, one of the nine sacred place of Asia. Banya. Dinner. Overnight in the resort.

Day 3: OLKHON ISLAND - IRKUTSK
Stop At: Khoboy, Irkutsk Oblast, Russia, 666137
Early Breakfast. Departure for an excursion (8 hours) at the northernmost point of the island - Cape Khoboy. Because of the lack of asphalt roads on the island, your trip will be in "off-road" style by specialized cars like UAZ .
Cape Khoboy, a sacred place for the indigenous people of the island - the Buryats. It takes plenty of shamanic rituals and religious ceremonies. Here you can see all four sides of the lake. During your excursion, the driver will prepare for you lunch from fresh fish. After Excursion we need to return to Irkutsk (about 4 hours).
Arrival in Irkutsk at 20.00. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight in a hotel.

Day 4: IRKUTSK -ULAN-UDE - KYAKHTA (Border Town)
Stop At: Kyakhta, Kyakhta, Republic of Buryatia, Siberian District
Breakfast. Transfer to Kyakhta with several stops: in a shore of Baikal, for lunch (extra charge), Ivolginsky temple, Ulan-Ude. Half of the way will go along Baikal shore.
You will have an excursion around Ulan-Ude city center. You will see the biggest head of Lenin, Drama theater, Central Square, Government buildings, main shopping street. After Ulan-Ude you will visit Ivolginsky temple - the center of Buddhism in Russia. You will have a chance to speak with monks. Continuation of the way to Kyakhta. Diner. Overnight in a hotel.

Day 5: KYAKHTA - ULAAN-BAATAR
Stop At: Ulaanbaatar, Ulaanbaatar
Breakfast. Crossing the border. Meeting with Mongolian guide. Transfer to Ulan-Bator with several stops: lunch in Darkhan towm, Visiting Buddhist Monastery Aglag. Overnight in Ulan-Bator.

Day 6: ULAN-BATOR - HUSTAI NATIONAL PARK
Stop At: Hustai National Park, Hustai National Park, Tov Province
โMeet in Ulaanbaatar and then drive to Hustai National Park and see Takhi, the Asian wild horse. If you have a chance, see a wolf, argali sheep, and deer. Enjoy small hiking and photographing the charming landscape and wildlife. Horse ride an hour.
Visit Takhi's small museum and overnight in a tourist camp.

Day 7: HUSTAI NATIONAL PARK - KHARAKHORIN and ERDENEZUU
Stop At: Kharkhorin, Mongolia
After breakfast at the tourist camp, drive to Kharkhorin, the symbolic ruins of the 13th century capital of the Mongol Empire. Visit Erdene Zuu, the oldest monastery, with 108 stupas, built in 1586. Then visit the Kharkhorin museum and see the Great Mongol state period, Stone Age, Bronze Age, Ancient state period halls.
Overnight in tourist camp by Orkhon River.

Day 8: KHARAKHORIN - ONGI TEMPLE RUIN
Stop At: Ongi Monastery, Saikhan-Ovoo Mongolia
Drive to Ongi Temple which had about a thousand lamas. On the way, we will visit an authentic local nomad family. There we have an opportunity to experience their way of life, their culture and traditions. It is a ruin of big monastery Bari Yonzon Hamba on the bank of the river. Overnight in the tourist camp. โ

Day 9: ONGI TEMPLE RUIN - BAYANZAG, the land of the Dinosaurs
Stop At: Bayanzag Saxual Forest, Mongolia
Today we will drive to Bayanzag, (known as a Flaming Cliffs where the first nest of dinosaur eggs found in 1922) a site famous for the remains of dinosaurs which lived here 60 million years ago. You can walk around where dinosaurs once roamed and see saksaul trees and other classic desert vegetation. Overnight in tourist camp.

Day 10: BAYANZAG - KHONGOR (Mongolian largest sand dunes)
Stop At: Khongor, Mongolia
After breakfast, you will be driven to Khongor sand dunes. These are Mongolia's largest sand dunes, reaching a height of 300 meters in some areas.
In the afternoon, you will be riding on two-humped Bactrian camels to explore Khongor sand dunes. Plus, you will have an opportunity to visit a camel herdsman's family to explore their way of life, their culture and traditions. The sand dunes change color with each hour of the day, from yellow to silver to rose-colored at (dawn/ sundown). Overnight in tourist camp.

Day 11: KHONGOR - YOLYN AM (Eagle valley)
Stop At: Yolyn Am, Located in the Gurvan Saikhan National Park near Dalanzadgad, Mongolia, Dalanzadgad Mongolia
Today's destination is Yolyn Am, or 'Eagle Valley'. Take a trip to Yol Am and Dungene valley - a wonderfully picturesque place with ice in summer, and surrounded by sheer rocky walls, forming incredible canyons.
Enjoy small hiking and photographing the charming landscape and wildlife. Visit the Gobi museum. These areas are situated in the Gobi Gurvan Saikhan National Park that encompasses the "Three Beauties" peaks and the most easterly points of the Altai Mountains. Overnight in tourist camp.
