About experience

The cooking course at French Dining School, Kerrouet starts on Sunday evening with an introductory dinner. On Monday through to Friday students start cooking at 10am and break after lunch around 2pm. Students are then free to explore this beautiful area of Brittany until 5pm when they start cooking again for dinner which ends around 11pm.The objective is to get all the students involved in the creation process and produce lunch (three courses) and dinner (four courses) to a fine dining standard as found in top restaurants. This is undertaken with care and attention but in a friendly and relaxed environment. The course is inclusive of all lunches and dinners consumed at the school except Thursday lunch when students visit a local food market. On Friday evening there is a graduation ceremony when students are awarded certificates on completion of the five day course. Accommodation is available in local holiday cottages, B&B's or holiday homes close to the school.
