About experience
Mozambique's coastal areas consist of lush sub-tropical forests, reefs, plenty of species of trees and birds, and much, much more. Of course, we can't leave out the beauty of the calm, serene, blue water and sandy beaches you're able to take great advantage of and spend loads of time relaxing amongst.
Itinerary:
Day 1: This morning you'll be picked up quite early, anywhere between 4am and 4:30am. After pickup, we will begin our drive to Tofo. Tofo Beach is likely the most famous beach in Mozambique. The beach offers plenty of opportunity to surf and even snorkel with whale sharks and manta rays. In addition the this, the option is yours should you choose to fish or partake in a sunset cruise. These are just a few options available to you, there is in fact many more activities available.
Activities available are not included in tour price and are optional.
Tonight we will stay at Casa Berry, just a few steps from the beach.
Day 2: Free day to explore at your leisure.
Day 3: Free day to explore at your leisure.
Day 4: This morning we will make another early departure headed for Vilankulos. Vilankulos is situated North of Maputo in front of Bazaruto Island. Snorkelling and diving in the area is very popular as there is a beautiful coral reef here that is very colourful and active (not included in price).
Day 5: We will enjoy an early breakfast this morning and then begin our Dhow Safari.
Day 6: Free day to explore at your leisure.
Day 7: Today we will start early and begin our journey to Chidenguele. Chidenguele offers several beaches in the area but there is also a very large lagoon. Naara Eco Lodge is where we will be staying tonight and it is very near a lagoon. There are plenty of activities available to partake in here (not included), or you can simply enjoy the nature while walking the beach, bird spotting.
Day 8: Free day to explore at your leisure.
Day 9: This morning we will enjoy breakfast before we begin our journey back to Maputo. Once we arrive in the Capital City, you will be dropped off anywhere you like within the city.
