      Early in the morning in Buenos Aires, pick up from your separately booked hotel from our program. Transfer to the port and travel on a "Buquebus" ferry to Colonia del Sacramento. Colonia is the only city in the world where you can find both Spanish and Portuguese colonial art. During a half-day city tour, you will see the old town with its historic stone alleyways and old buildings. One night in Colonia del Sacramento at the Hotel Posada Don Antonio (middle class, national category: 3 stars). Approx. 40 km

  • Day 2 Day 2: Colonia Del Sacramento - Montevideo

      Day 2: Colonia Del Sacramento - Montevideo

      Transfer to the bus station and travel by public bus to Montevideo. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Afterwards, city tour with a visit to the old town, the harbor market and the Plaza de Independencia. The cityโ€™s culture is characterized by tango, European immigrants and African Candombe drummers. The rest of the day is at leisure. One night in Montevideo at the Hotel Own Montevideo (upper middle class, national category: 4 stars). Approx. 250 km (breakfast)

      Transfer to the airport or port of Montevideo. If you wish to return to Buenos Aires, a ferry crossing on the "Buquebus" line must also be booked. Approx. 10-20 km (breakfast)
