      Day 1: Cluj โ€“ Surdesti โ€“ Desesti โ€“ Sapanta โ€“ Breb

      Meet your guide at 8:30 am and leave Cluj, heading from Maramures. First stop of the day will be in Surdesti village, for the visit of Surdesti wooden church, the first UNESCO heritage site you will visit. Continue with the visit of Desesti wooden church, a second heritage site. Here you will discover the best preserved interior painting of all the wooden churches of Maramures. In the afternoon, visit the colorful Merry Cemetery from Sapanta. Transfer to Breb for a walk in the village, to discover the daily life.

      Dinner and accommodation in a rural guesthouse.

      Day 2: Breb โ€“ Barsana โ€“ Ieud โ€“ Cluj

      After breakfast, pay a visit to some local craftsmen, that continue working in the old way. Stop to see the new monastery in Barsana, a mix of modern and traditional architecture. Have lunch in a restaurant. Take a panoramic road that will lead you to a third UNESCO heritage site, Poienile Izei or Ieud wooden church. This will be the last visit before heading back to the big city.

      Get back to Cluj in late afternoon. End of the tour.
