Arrive at Heathrow where your private transfer will meet you and take you to your hotel; The Hard Rock Hotel.

The 4* Hard Rock Hotel will be your base for the next two nights. Previous residents include Jimi Hendrix, Diana Ross, Bob Dylan and Buddy Holly. This hotel is steeped in musical history demonstrated through its extensive memorabilia collection. Making it the perfect base for the first leg of your British Music Cities Tour. A company representative will meet you at the hotel and provide you with a travel pack, location information and answer any questions you might have.

First opening its doors in 1954, this original coffee club, bar and restaurant helped launch the career of the iconic Bob Dylan, Led Zepplin used to jam here after some of their shows and legends such as Elvis Costello, Sammy Davis Jr, Paul Simon and Rom Robinson have headiness the stage. More recently stars such as Adele and Ed Sheeran have played in the bar and live music can be enjoyed most nights; the perfect venue for an evening meal. (Book in advance recommended, entrance fee is not included.)

Day 2: Monsters of Rock Full Day Tour.

After breakfast you will make your way to Trafalgar Square for 9am to start your full day Monsters of Rock Tour where you will follow in the footsteps of music-making legends of London on a comprehensive, full-day tour of some of the cityโ€™s most musical neighbourhood. You will discover the past and present rock landmarks, listen to fascinating stories and anecdotes told by your specialist music guide while rocking out to some spectacular music.
Morning: The morning sections covered rock landmarks in bohemian Soho and north London neighbourhoods of Camden Town, Kings Cross, Holloway and Islington. See the flat where โ€˜Yesterdayโ€™ was written, walk across the world famous โ€˜Abbey Road Crossing.โ€™
Artists on the morning tour include the Beatles, Amy Whinehouse, Rolling Stones, Bowie, Elton John, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, the Sex Pistols and more.
Lunch: There will be free time for an independent lunch before rejoining the tour.
Afternoon: After lunch the tours heads south to Chelsea, Kensington, Notting Hill Gate, Marylebone and the West End. These are the sites that made the 60s swing, where Londonโ€™s hippie underground ;counter-cultureโ€™ took off and where the 70s punk revolution took place. See the boutiques, clubs and pubs which made these decades and inspired of much loved melodies and lyrics.
Beatles fans will be in there element as they play a major part in the afternoon tour. See Ringoโ€™s Kings Road apartment, Brian Epsteinโ€™s home, Paulโ€™s current London home, John and Yokoโ€™s first home and the site of the Sgt Pepper coverโ€™s photo.

Day 3: Liverpool and the Magical Beatles Museum

Afternoon: Visit the new Magical Beatles Museum owned by Roag Best; brother of the original Beatles Pete Best. This museum holds one of the largest authentic Beatles collections in the world; spanning over 3 floors with over 300 unique items from 1959 - 1970 - this is a fantastic experience for any Beatles fan.

Stop At: The Jacaranda Club, 21-23 Slater Street, Liverpool L1 4BW England
Evening: Optional:
Visit to the Jacaranda. This iconic pub is where 'The Silver Beatles' were given the chance to perform and were paid in coca cola and beans on toast; it is also where John Lennon first introduced the bands as 'The Beatles' before heading to Hamburg. The basement is exactly as it was in the 1950s - a space for aspiring bands to practise and perform. The pub is home to a restored 1948 voice-o-gram, one of only 3 in the world which allows you to make your own records and press them to vinyl.
Alternatively visit the Philharmonic Dining Rooms, a favourite pub of John Lennon and Stuart Sutcliffe (the original bass player in the band.)

Day 4: The Beatles Story and the Magical Mystery Tour:

Morning: Enjoy breakfast in Blakes; the unique 'Sgt Pepper' inspired restaurant at the hotel where you will be surrounded by the 66 famous faces who adorned the album cover including Marilyn Monroe, Adolf Hitler, Oscar Wilde and Jesus Christ.

Whilst listening to The Beatles back catalogue, this 2 hour tour will take you to all the places associated with the 'Fab Four.' You will get to see Penny Lane, Strawberry Fields and where John, Paul, George and Ringo grew up, met and formed the band which took the world by storm.

Evening: Optional dinner at the themed ''Festival Restaurant' opposite the Cavern Club. A fusion of Brazilian tastes and rhymes together with a blend of Liverpool humour and music history.
You could then choose to spend the evening in "The most famous club in the world' which saw the Beatles perform over 200 times. With live music every evening and a fantastic atmosphere - The Cavern Club is the perfect way to spend your last night in the city that gave the world the Beatles.

Day 5: The British Music Experience and Manchester

Morning: After breakfast you will head to the British Music Experience. Experience the history of British Music through costumes, instruments, performance and memorabilia. View the outfits worn by everyone from Dusty Springfield to the Spice Girls, musical instruments played by some of the worlds most renowned artists from Noel Gallagher to the Sex Pistols and memorabilia from icons such as The Beatles and Adele. This interactive exhibit will give you the opportunity to learn to play an instrument, practise some classic dance moves and record your own record.

Afternoon: Transfer to your Manchester hotel by private car . You will then have some free time to explore this wonderful 'city of first.' Evening: Optional Visit to 'Band on the Wall'.' This unique music venue is so named because bands used to play on a stage halfway up the wall to make room inside the busy pub. It saw names such as the Buzzcocks, The Fall and Joy Division play on its unusual stage.
