Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Chengdu

Stop At: Chengdu, Chengdu, Sichuan
Our guide will pick you up at Chengdu Airport and transfer you to the hotel downtown. When time permitting, we will head to Wuhou Temple then lead you to loiter around Jinli Street to feel the traditional culture of the city and enjoy local handicrafts and cuisines as well.

Day 2: Chengdu - Mount Siguniang

Stop At: Wolong Giant Panda Nature Reserve, Wolong Town, Wenchuan County 623006 China
In the middle of the route to Mount Siguniang we will make a stop at the Gengda Panda Base in the Wolong Nature Reserve after around 2 hours' ride. There you can see lovely pandas eating bamboo, rolling on the ground, and climbing trees.

Drive cross lofty Balang Mountain to the town near Mt Siguniang

Day 3: Mount Siguniang - Danba

Stop At: Mount Siguniang, At The Junction of Xiaojin County and Wenchuan County, Xiaojin County 624200 China
Mt. Siguniang is made up of 4 snow-crowned continuous peaks. It has been a mecca for trekkers and photographers. After breakfast, we will visit the Shuangqiao Valley (Double-Bridge Valley) of the Mount Siguniang to enjoy refreshing natural scenes of snow peaks, prairies, forests and mirror-like lakes.

Stop At: Danba County, Danba County, Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan
Arrive in Danba in the late afternoon, we will check in a local Tibetan-style hostel to spend the night.

Day 4: Danba

Stop At: Danba County, Danba County, Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan
Tibetan in Danba care very much about the beauty of their houses. Their composed a beautiful picture together with the mountain, fields and plants around them. And Jiaju village is the most beautiful in Danba.

After tour of Jiaju village, your guide will take you to Sopo Tower house. It still remains as mystery how local people built such high towers without modern tools! And today a lot of towers are well reserved in Danba, and best place is Sopo village.

Day 5: Danba - Xinduqiao

Stop At: Tagong Grassland, Within Kangding County, Kangding County 626000 China
On the halfway, we take a stop for a visit to Huiyuan Monastery (3,500m) in Bamei. It is the birthplace of the 11th Dalai Lama, temporal residence of the 7th Dalai Lama, and was a hotel of the present Dalai Lama.

Stop At: Xinduqiao Town, Kangding County 626002 China
Lunch will be arranged when arriving at Bamei Town. After that, continue our trip to Xinduqiao. We will stop by Bamei Stone Forest, Tagong Prairie and Tagong Temple on the way to view refresh scenes and take pictures.

We will check in Xinduqiao Paradise Hostel upon arrival.

Day 6: Xinduqiao - Yading

Stop At: Litang County, Litang County, Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan
Have a simple lunch, our guide will accompany you to visit the Changqingchun Ke'er Monastery. The full view of the Litang County will be presented in front of you once climbing up to the Incense-Burning Platform of the temple.

Stop At: Haizi Mountain, Riwa Country, Daocheng County 625007 China
Afternoon, continue to drive to Yading Town and we will pass by the Haizi Mountain in the midway, where you can see a lot of naturally-formed lakes embedded on the plateau.

Day 7: Yading

Stop At: Yading Xin, Litang County, Garzê Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, China
Daocheng Yading is located in southwestern part of Sichuan Province and about 860km away from Chengdu. It is praised above the moon as “the Last Pure Land on Our Blue Planet” with its superb landscape kingdom decorated by pure white holy snow mountains, ice glaciers, dense forests, vast grasslands, challenging valleys, glittering lakes, grazing cattle, etc.

Day 8: Departure

Stop At: Yading, Nangqên County, Yushu, China
After checking out the hotel, our guide and driver will transfer you to the airport for your leaving flight. Please kindly notice that most planes leave from Yading Airport early in the morning due to the high altitude and climate restriction.
